It's ground Italian sausage, perfectly spiced, into a patty on ciabatta bread. I feel like they should sell this spiced sausage wholesale, I could see it for numerous things. This place is a solid bar & grill! Plenty of TV's around to watch your favorite games. Stopped in during March Madness but was disappointed they didn't turn the volume up enough to hear the game. They were fairly busy with only one gal being both bartender and server for the entire bar. She actually did great! Tried the pizza and a BLT. Both were good but enjoyed the pizza a bit more. I liked the crunchy crust. Nice outdoor patio when the weather warms up. Even has a TV outside, it's not huge but if it works could do the trick to watch a game. read more

Service was incredibly slow. No one greeted us when we walked in even though the door is right next to the bar. It's self seating, so we sat ourselves and then proceeded to wait 20 minutes before someone finally came over to take our drink order. They had no drink menu and the server was not very helpful in letting us know what beers they carry. We waited about another 20 minutes before the server came back to take our food order and about another 30 for the food to get to the table. We ordered a cheeseburger with bacon, when it arrived there was no bacon. Although they did remake the burger for no charge we had to wait another 30 minutes for that to arrive. The two hours we were there, we didn't get a drink refill. We also ordered another round of drinks that never came. We waited a while for someone to come over so we can get the check and go but ultimately we just had to walk up to the bar to cash out. The vibes were a little weird. We had a nice experience at Tiger Tom's. The vibes were immaculate. Type of place where most of the people are regulars and all have a camaraderie about them. The service was friendly. We attended for the tenderloin trail. The tenderloin was good, really enjoyed the breading. The flavor was kinda lacking. It came with fries that were solid crinkle cut fries. Visited on a cold Saturday afternoon to watch some sports. There was a good crowd for 2:30pm. Lots of locals and regulars. Clearly a popular neighborhood bar. Wasnt really sure what to expect when visiting Tiger Toms. But walking into the place, I loved the atmosphere of the place. There are tvs everywhere, plentiful seating, an outdoor area, and free popcorn. I had a couple PBRs and they were insanely cheap. The ambiance felt like your neighboorhood pub that has been there forever. Seemed like most of the people who were there have known eachother forever even though they were all at different tables. They would just greet eachother when they came in. Now to the food, I had the butterfly shrimp as an appetizer and just seemed like there was more breading than shrimp but overall very tasty. As the main course, my friend and I got the pork tenderloin as we have been doing the tenderloin trail and it was very well cooked. The breading made the sandwich. It was seasoned well and overall great meat to bun ratio. If you are a sports fan, this would be such a great place to watch a game. read more

Tiger Toms ahhhh one of my favorite bars. It's basically like my Cheers. The food is always fantastic, drinks are strong, and the bartenders and servers treat you like family. AND it's one big melting pot. Everyone is so nice and it's always a good vibe! I've been going for Pizza mondays. If you dine in, all the pizzas are half off. Everyone is so kind and nice there the atmosphere is amazing, I brought my 2 kids in and they had food that was perfect for everyone! I got the black and blue burger and it was so good and my husband got one of the specials, I think it was some sort of tacos for taco Saturday and you could tell they were homemade. Not only was it a nice place to get out of the heat and enjoy a cold Boulevard Wheat draft, but when it was time for those exciting 2 minutes, they turned the TV up so loud we couldn't even hear each other. Service started out pretty bad but by the time we got our food we had 3 different people coming and asking if we needed anything. My nachos were over cooked. My husbands pork tenderloin was over cooked yet still tasted quite good. Daughter burger was as burnt. Son said his wings were delicious. First of all, it took FOREVER to get our appetizers. We ordered the breaded green beans. Best part of the meal and that's not saying much. Breading was a bit heavy but good flavor. Ok, the famous tenderloin sandwich. Mine had the piss fried out of it. And it was greasy. My crinkle fries were also hard as rocks, way over cooked. My husband got the chicken philly. He wasnt too impressed. Said the chicken was "charred". Sweet potato fries were average. The steak sandwich, ordered medium, was well done. The homemade chips got a shrug as as response when I ask how good they had been. Lastly, the beef nachos. The chips were a mix of flour and corn chips. She had to dig for the cheese. On the outside this place looks like a fairly typical local watering hole or dive bar. That's basically what it is, but a few things set it apart. 1. The food. Definitely a cut above typical bar food. Might not actually be "healthy" but definitely health-conscious, with a selection of salads, wraps, and grilled items on the menu. There are also a few daily specials not featured on the menu. Kitchen hours were recently expanded to all day as opposed to just evenings. 2. HD televisions. Expected at a sports bar, but apparently some of the other bars in the area haven't yet received that memo. Tiger Tom's has multiple HD and big-screen HD TVs, with the DirecTV sports packages. It's really the only option in the neighborhood for food and sports. The other Benson area bars cater to a different audience - either drinks-only, with no food, or else are live music rather than sports venues. Still, it has some of the "dive bar" tendencies - not necessarily a bad thing, but just FYI. The "regulars" tend to be older (50+) so if you are younger, you may feel out of place; the 50 and up crowd also seems to be the target audience. Staff can sometimes be a little less than attentive, so it can take a while to be served or have drinks refilled. There's free popcorn, but be prepared to use a bowl that has just been used by someone else and then returned. As a younger person these are a few negatives I have, but it's still my favorite bar and grill in the Benson area. read more

I love this bar. I go here with my parents every Tuesday night for $5 burgers and fries. I've never had a problem with the food, but I typically only order cheeseburgers, wings, and appetizers. The crowd is a little older, but I've noticed more and more families and a younger crowd starting to come in. This place is very cheap and the staff is very friendly.
