I saw a picture of Report Inn's Loaded Grilled Cheese sandwich weeks ago and promised to try it out someday. Well, that was before this quarantine thing happened. Then, today I found out that Report Inn now is offering online food ordering through smartonlineorder.com and gave it a shot. I chose a time to pick it up, a waiter brought my Loaded Grilled Cheese to my car, I returned home and devoured it. The sandwich is made with two over easy eggs, three slices of bacon, hashbrowns, three cheeses, to which I chose to add pickles, onion, and tomato. While I have had egg sandwiches before, this one has to be one of the best yet. It was a little messy being hard to keep it all in one place, but it was delicious. The waffle fries were also on par. My only regret I had was I could not experience the bar itself. But being take out / curbside it seemed as though some renovations were going on inside. I was fortunate to find this place only a few weeks ago. It appears to have a good beer selection which they post new beers to UnTappd which I now follow. I might have to come back and order a Crowler of one of their selections, but anyway I will be back. read more

Food was good.. Staff are very attentive to drinks /food.... Not exactly what I would call a family friendly place.. But I admit that could be to poor timing, Saturday lunch with a younger 20 something one table over that needs to gain some wisdom / control over his mouth yelling out 4 letter words..... read more

What a great local dive bar! My husband and I walked in here at 9:30 pm for some late-night grub and were not disappointed. The burger was huge and delicious, and the wings were surprisingly some of the best we've had in Omaha: thick Buffalo sauce, house-made blue cheese, and crispy skins on the wings. The only bummer were the fried pickles, the batter was just too much for my taste. Overall, awesome joint. read more

This place just feels like home. Sad we haven't been able to get in for a few months, but the growler and Moscow mule pack to go was just what we needed on this sunny Saturday (after a little hail that is) These guys have made the best of this situation. Offering to Ice your friends for getting 50 bucks in gift cards? PRICELESS. Their food has always been solid and delicious. Need a meat fix? Steak tips or patty melt is where it's at. Hungover? Loaded grilled cheese will satisfy and cure almost any ailment. Bar food craving? Some of the best nachos I've ever had and corn fritters are a must! And the Bloody Mary's speak for themselves. Can't wait to get back in to catch a game and order a cold brew. Keep it up guys! read more

We had a semi-good experience last year with my husband just going in to get a take-out order. The staff wasn't super friendly (his impression), but he said they took care of him alright--gave him a little extra because they were very busy and the wait was a bit long. Our impression of the daily special was very favorable. Our second stop today left us cold. My husband wears a face mask because of lung disease. He said he was harassed the entire time he was in there! I asked him if it was just the customers. He said no---it was also the staff and management. Disgraceful. I know everyone is sick of this pandemic, but I don't treat people crappy just because they are maskless. My husband is a healthcare worker and is used to being heckled---but this was like junior high. And the food was inferior today. So disappointing. We won't be back. read more

Everything tastes great. On the higher end of prices for bar food. Only thing I wouldn't recommend are the onion rings. We've ordered them twice and both times were a very small quantity. 7 onion rings for $8.50 seems a bit much. Especially for the size of some of them. read more

Tacos and margaritas are pretty good and a great value for their Taco Tuesday special. For $11 you get two tacos, cheese dip and a beer or margarita. Our waitress was friendly and the service was quick. They have other specials and the food always looks good. Definitely worth trying if you're looking for some really good bar food. read more

3 words - Giant Bloody Mary It comes with a large slider, a wing, fried pickle and bacon. They can also make it spicier or not so be sure to ask them about that. They have tons of TVs and it's a casual place to meet up with friends and grab some drinks/food. read more

Let me start with how much I love this place. I've come here dozens of times, I love the fact that they serve Omaha beef, kitchen hours are accommodating for young professionals (late hours), and service is USUALLY pretty good! I cannot believe how poorly we were treated when we last visited. Not only was the bartender short and passive aggressive, but after watching her pour a perfect glass for another customer, she proceeded to continue serving us these sloppy, foamy beers. I watched her purposely pour a foamy glass for my friend 3 times in a row (yes we all know how to pour a beer) this friend in particular has experience behind the bartop. Not only that, but she almost charged me for an extra beer (I only ordered one). This lady single handedly turned a fun night out after work into a disappointing and regrettable experience. The 2 stars are for the kitchen, who did a fantastic job! As far as customer service comes, IF I ever come back, one more experience like this will be the last read more

Best Taco Tuesday in town. How can you beat 2 Taco's - Beef or Chicken, Queso, Chips and a margarita or beer for $11.00!

I was in the mood for fried pickles and due to a Facebook group post ion where to find some good ones I decided to give the place a try. I was able to order online - fried pickles - wings 1/2 garlic Parmesan 1/2 Buffalo - char buffed. Walked into the place and was taking back on how small it was and the smell of a cigar. Couldn't figure out where it was coming from but is was very prominent. Very noisy with music thumping and some patroons dancing in their seats at the bar having a good time. I'm getting old, way to loud in that little spot. Finally flagged someone down to get my order and left. The fried pickles were good , that is the only reason it got 2 stars - nothing wrong with them and they remained hot the whole way home. The wings were absolutely horrible. First thing they were definitely not char buffed and it lead to slight irritation considering they charge $1 more just to run it through their pizza oven. The skin on the garlic Parmesan ones were slimy and I couldn't muster through one of them. The Buffalo ones were slightly better , made it through one and then dumped them. Wish they were cooked how I asked because this review could be different. read more

Food...... was OK, but definitely not out standing... Ambiance...not so much...Service....our Server.... She was OK, not terribly personable, but she was the only person on the floor, the Guy Bartender was a complete ASS! Went to get To-Go boxes... I was totally ignored... and I was bein nice.... When I finally got his attention, I also ask for portion cup lids, for all the sauces we PAID for.... And was told "NO".... Just No, and walked off.. Our Party was 3 Adults and a 4 yo.... We all kinda felt like we were uninvited strangers, in a private club... apparently this joint really doesn't need new money or Clientele.... Word of Mouth Y'all.... read more

The only reason I started coming to this place was the attentive and personable bartenders. Over the past five months they have continued to fire in my opinion their best employees for just off the wall reasons. Now it's just sub-par service and it seems no one knows what's going on. The owner will sit up at his bar and talk down about his employees and hit on patrons. Place is a joke. read more

Their breakfast menu looked good and sometimes hole-in-the-wall pubs have phenomenal but under appreciated kitchens. This was not the case for Report In Pub. Had a great recommendation from a friend to check this bar out, and man she wasn't wrong. We strolled into this dive on a weeknight to find "the regular" crowd hanging out. I came here for one reason and one reason only. That was for the Bloody Mary. At 18 bucks a pop I was expecting greatness and I wasn't let down. The drink came equips with a burger, bacon, onions rings, and a fried pickle along with the traditional toppings. It was a meal and cocktail built for two! Service was friendly and it met all my expectations. read more

We drove all the way over here from the east side of Omaha for a Bloody Mary and we were not disappointed. The bartenders are super friendly and cheerful. The boyfriend and I ended up sharing the Bloody Mary, but we'll probably come back and get our own the next time we have more time to chill in the area (and not have to drive afterwards). They have tons of TVs and were playing college football when we went on Saturday. Could be a great place to watch a sports game. Not sure if it was because we were hungry, but the food toppings were really really good. The 1/4lb burger, wings, fried pickle, and bacon were not only hot but crisp to perfection. Apparently they have bacon vodka so we'll have to come back and try that next time! read more

We were in the area looking for something new. The outside doesn't do the inside justice. The inside is modernized, welcoming and has tons of TVs. The service was SPECTACULAR. Multiple servers checked on us and we were always taken care of. As soon as someone left they jumped in and sanitized the area. Food was fast and delicious. We had a great experience and I will recommend this place to anyone looking for a delightful pub experience. read more

I've been to the Report a lot more than any other Bar in Omaha. I like it, it's just a neighborhood bar, but it's my go to now because it's close and the owner is as cool as they come. Super friendly and remembers your drinks after one conversation. The rest of the staff has always been nice and helpful. The food is your typical bar food, with some exceptions. The insane wings are hotter than I expected. Usually most Bars have an "insane" or "Extra Hot" and it's your average hot, Reports Insane is hotter than that but not burn my face off like Rays. This was hot but I was still able to eat them all and enjoyed them. The burgers are good and my favorite app is the Jalapeño Corn Fritters. The beer selection is great! Lots to chose from and they switch it up all the time. So there's always something new to try. The bathrooms are average, the urinals are kinda close but as long as someone's not too drunk, there shouldn't be any splash back or splatter sprinkles. Unlike most bathrooms, I haven't pooped here, so I can't review the TP or the comfort of the seat. There's no graffiti or bathroom wall reading so i can't tell you who to call for a good time. Lots of TV's to watch sports or whatever you wanna watch. I'm partial to this place but I'm still trying to be unbiased so I'm giving it a 4, it would be a 4.4 but yelp doesn't allow it still, which is stupid cause there should be a better rating system at play. read more

This is a no-frills, neighborhood-ish bar, in West O. I do not drink, so I am commenting on the rest of the experience. I came in for a special they were running, $2 quarter pound sliders. A coworker and I ordered two each and shared a basket of fries, which are waffle-cut. The fries were really good; crispy, with very good texture overall, and seasoned well. The burger on the other hand was disappointing in terms of flavor. The bun was fine, but the patty was not seasoned at all, at least to my taste. The meat was cooked OK, leaning on more well done. The service was friendly, though, and the restaurant side clean. Overall it's like a 3.5 for me. Based on the fried though, I would like to try other things; they are that good. read more

I've yet to try the highly-touted bloody mary here. It's just such a commitment! Instead, I've had beers and some of the food items during my visits here. First off, the tap list is extensive and quite impressive for a small bar like this. It's a very nice find. Of course you can have Bud Light if that's your thing, but if you like to taste your beverage there are plenty of other options. The food has been consistently good; the wings and nachos are much better than many other local places. The jalapeno corn fritters are a favorite and pack a bit of a kick! Cane A girlfriend and I came in for lunch and it will be the last. I ordered the Club Salad and my friend ordered the Ruben. My salad consisted of lettuce, cheese, olive and what looked to be Oscar Mayer ham and turkey cut in these long slices. I asked for my bacon well done a bit, thinking it would be cooked, and it came out in fatty pieces and it was ice cold. My friends Ruben wasn't even edible and believe me, this girl knows her Ruben's. When I questioned our less than cheerful server, she said that's how it comes. Maybe our experience would have been more tolerable, but the employees were just as bad as our food. read more

Have been to this restaurant many times. It's taco Tuesday and the business was fairly slow. For some reason one waitress was rude to customers and her fellow employees. The waitress was putting down her fellow waiters/waitresses in front of customers. I couldn't think of a more unprofessional and disrespectful action in this type of business. The low price is no longer worth it if that waitress continues to work there. (Brunette older white female) read more
