The pumpkin bread latte is what pumpkin spice dreams are made of!! I can always count on village grinder for a cozy fall cup and great service. Cheers!

This was my first time in, and as soon as I walked in the door I was hit with the BEST smell of coffee ever. We were able be order immediately and had our drinks within a few minutes. Both of us got iced dirty cookie butter chai lattes, and they were soooo good. Probably the best dirty chai I've had in a really long time. Definitely will be back here soon!

This was our first time ever trying Village Grinder and I am confident that we will be back very soon. First off, when we walked in, it was so cute and smelled SO good inside. I loved all of the little gift/apparel items they had for sale inside too! We both got iced dirty cookie butter chais, these were on their current featured menu. They were DELICIOUS. Just the right amount of sweet and the flavor was amazing. We were more than satisfied with our coffees!

The cutest little shop with the nicest staff. I enjoy that the interior is cozy, like a small town shop or my grandma's house (meant in the kindest sentiment), and it's not like one of those shops someone will post up with their computer for hours. To me, that maintains the integrity of the space! You can buy a variety of things including their beans, stationery and home decor, and coffee, of course. I got the vanilla latte and it was nothing too special but better than the big chains. My husband got a flavored brew and he enjoyed that without sugar or creamer.

Pre steamed milk, no foam and tasteless coffee to go. No thank you. Service and or quality has really gone down. Sadly Starbucks or even scooters is better. Like to support local but need to maintain a level of quality

Cinnamon roll & Salted Caramel cold brew w/ cream

I decided to try Village Grinder today for my morning coffee and it was the best decision ! The atmosphere of the coffee shop is welcoming and overall a good vibe. I got a salted caramel cold brew with cream and a cinnamon roll. This cinnamon roll is one of the best ones I've had in a while. The coffee was absolutely amazing as well. The staff were attentive and very nice and you can tell they enjoyed working there. This will for sure be added as one of my favorite coffee shops!!

This humble little coffee shop is right off 90th and dodge and a great spot for a fresh encounter with peace and good sips. The village grinder isn't your modern, minimal, all white "aesthetic" coffee shop, however it's homey, warm, and relaxing. You'll find that the majority of customers are women coming for afternoon chats or breakfast pastries. They have a lot of trinkets and home decor to purchase, but I gave this five stars more for the atmosphere it permits. Very warm and comforting like walking into grandmas and smelling cookies, getting a big hug, and feeling at home. As for the drinks, I only got a red raspberry iced tea (which was fantastic), but am looking forward to returning and trying more things. Service was kind and helpful even though they were working their buns off, they make people feel seen and welcome. I also love the music they have going during the day, continues to encourage the peaceful atmosphere it must be known for.

Very nice little coffee stop! They have a variety of baked goods and coffee selections. Various little gifts, candles, Husker gear, and even a corner where they sell coffee beans and candy. You can even get the fresh beans ground there. They only have about three sugar free flavors but my SF iced vanilla latte was delicious! Service was fast and friendly! I also enjoyed a blueberry muffin! Very cute and quaint little shop!

Every time we thought we had seen the whole store, another doorway appeared leading into yet another room packed floor-to-ceiling with candy, retro treats, bizarre novelties, and things I haven't seen since childhood dentist appointments. The layout is less "store" and more "sugar-powered labyrinth." I'm fairly certain there are at least three rooms we never found, and there may be an entire hidden civilization living somewhere behind the gummy bears. You could visit five times and still accidentally discover a new hallway full of international candy bars and rubber chickens. Then there's the pinball arcade, because apparently simply selling every candy on Earth wasn't enough. Nothing says "responsible adulthood" like eating sour belts while aggressively losing at pinball. Unfortunately, we arrived close to closing, which meant we had to speed-run what felt like the world's quirkiest candy maze. We left knowing with absolute certainty that we missed half the place -- possibly an entire wing. Next time we're bringing breadcrumbs, a map, and maybe a sherpa.

On the outside it's advertised as a candy store and also an antique mall. I'm not sure how much of an antique mall it really is, as there wasn't much for sale (though there were a few antiques and oddities mixed into the candy offerings). What this place does offer is room after room of surprise. You're going to find a fully functioning old school soda fountain bar, which honestly was really cool. We didn't stop to eat or drink anything here but I did see folks with ice cream and other treats that looked good. Keep going and you'll find a big room of just about any candy you could imagine. Continue and you might walk into a giant Mike and Sully from Monsters Inc. or a full on pinball arcade. The bigger question should be what DOESN'T this place have? At any rate this was a really fun find, and I'm glad we took the time to wander around and take it all in. If you're visiting Omaha this is a fun thing to explore and tack onto your trip.

You know what's better than being a kid in a candy store? Being an adult in a candy store! Because you have money . Had a nice conversation with staff, about candy. I like candy! I bought some chamoy gummy bears. Then I decided to check out the other side, which is bursting with color, too. Mainly things that used to be referred to as "tobacco accessories". And also socks, lots and lots of novelty socks, like a bigger selection than maybe I've ever seen. I don't know if there is a connection between these items. They explain up front how it's cooked, how long it will take (at least 40 minutes), and how to season it or what sauce to use. I'm partial to tartar sauce so I went for that. Super crunchy outside, and a warm flakey fish on the inside - just how I like it! The chips were not to my liking, but that's because they are not like typical French fries. They are softer more potato like texture (they explain on their menu and online). Instead, I tried their sausage roll which is a sausage wrapped in a flakey pastry. Absolutely delicious! And what meal would be complete without a biscuit and jam? Definitely recommend warming it up first then adding your butter or jam. To note, there is not a lot of seating inside, so we took our food home and it was still just as good. They offer a variety of other options in the restaurant/store as well when you stop by. Highly recommend a visit!
