One reason why we came here is it was also on UpSide, we didnt get our receipt to redeem our promo. My fiancé got the veggie omlete and didnt finish it saying it was bland and oily. I got the Tres Leches pancakes, what I really wanted was the French toast, but that was an error on our part. Too be honest I wanted to be WOW'D by these pancakes, but it was pretty basic. They were regular pancakes with some extras to flavor it. Overall food was mid, being that my fiancé didnt finish her good and my pancakes and eggs were OK, and we didnt get our receipt. This is from a perspective of someone who grew up in the bay area, lived in PHX for while, and now reside in NM. Also when we saw Chilaquiles on the menu, we we're like "ok" this spot going to have flavor. We're open to come back due to the variety on the menu, but this round of breakfast was just ok.

We had a great brunch at Summer Kitchen. I had the Denver omelette with fruit and a biscuit. The…read moreomelette was stuffed with veggies, including spinach, I think, which was unexpected but didn't detract from the dish. The melon was fresh and the biscuits hot and flakey. My companions had a potato casserole and some kind of burger, but I don't recall the details. I was probably too focused on my own meal, but they each got the morning glory muffins with their orders, which they loved. All of us enjoyed our food and had leftovers. The only downside was the noise. It was a very crowded Saturday morning, loud enough that hearing was difficult at times. Our waitress was very attentive despite the crowd, keeping our water and coffee topped up. Next time we'll come on a weekday.

We had a pretty yummy brunch at this location. We came in on a Sunday with quite a big party but…read morenot a huge party and the wait was pretty extensive so if you're gonna do the same thing, I would suggest calling ahead or sending somebody ahead to get on the waitlist. The pancakes were actually my favorite part of the meal. They were fluffy and well done. I asked for extra butter because that's who I am. I also had the steak and eggs with breakfast potatoes the steak was pretty good eggs were eggs and the breakfast potatoes were kind of your standard hashbrowns. A couple people in our group had the scramble and really enjoyed it. They got the junior size, which would've been plenty for most adults. I can't even imagine what the larger sizes look like. My partner had an omelette with some fresh fruit. The fruit was actually pretty fresh and the omelette was yummy. The homemade blueberry muffin was her favorite part. The coffee was fresh and plenty; our table also got one of the big cinnamon rolls, which seems to be a staple at this restaurant to share and well it didn't last very long. This is a perfect family friendly restaurant. There's something on that menu for everybody and even despite the wait, it would still be a great place to go back with any size group. Wheelchair accessibility: the parking situation for this restaurant is kind of weird, especially for this type of restaurant which has a traditionally older clientele there were very few accessible spots. In fact, parking was hard to come by at all, which I guess speaks to the popularity of the spot. But we had at least two cars that needed accessible parking, and neither of us could find it. The restaurant itself is pretty good. There's a variety of seating options with plenty that would accommodate a wheelchair. The bathroom door was OK and there was a stall that worked great with all the usual amenities involved

Portions were generous, and the menu was super easy to understand. There's lots of seating, including good outdoor seating, so it would be a great spot for groups. The wait staff was also really kind and welcoming. I got the vanilla latte, which was fine -- definitely still good, but a little mid. I wouldn't come here specifically for the coffee, but I'd absolutely come back for the food! The only downside was that our food took about 20-30 minutes to come out, but it was worth the wait. Overall, a really solid breakfast spot!

The last few times we have went there had been a young woman working who was awkwardly unfriendly. One of the times she didn't say a word the entire interaction - it was very odd! When we got there they hadn't opened yet and there was a pretty good crowd already forming, waiting for them to open... Some might consider this a good thing. Lol One inside we were a bit disappointed, the ambiance was more like a fast food restaurant then a traditional sit down dinner establishment. We discovered that you had to place your order at the front and pay then get a pager to let you know when your order was ready. The restaurant did a fairly decent amount of to go take out orders, so the wait for our food was pretty long, around 30 minutes. We both ordered the cheese wheel pasta, a specialty in which the pasta is cooked and then tossed in an actual cheese wheel to get a nice, thick coating of cheese on it. I added a chicken parm and Ins to my order and my wife got just the pasta with mushrooms. When we got the page, the food was fresh and hot, made to order and the cheese sauce was fantastic. It came with a piece of Texas style toast, which would have been better if it had garlic butter on it, but it was ok, toasted nicely. We had to get our own silverware and napkins, most of the orders were served in to go take out boxes, except mine since it had a decent sized piece of chicken and sauce on it, it came on an actual plate. The food was excellent, definitely well made and high quality, tasted great and was a good amount, but the price point for the food and the fact that you had to bus your own table, get your own order like a take out place, and wait as long as we did for it, we didn't feel that it was the best value. We enjoyed the food, but we would advise to place a take out as opposed to sitting down to eat there, and we would recommend the pasta, even the cheese wheel, but the add ons did not seem to be worth the extra charge, in our opinion. We will go back for take out here again, the pasta was delicious.
