This was my first stop at this new location and it's just as good as the one in Dundee! I loved how there was a lot more seating than the one in Dundee. The service was still fairly fast even with a larger space. Just a reminder that this is an "order food first, then find your seat" so keep that in mind if coming with a larger party. The menu was pretty much the same with some new fun specials. I tried a couple of the specials while I was there. The coffee was not overly sweet and smooth. The sandwich was a little on the smaller side with the gluten free bread, so I would recommend getting a side along with it, but still super yummy. Overall, we had a pretty good experience, but there were definitely some hits and misses. This is one of those places where you order at the counter, get a number, and they bring your food to the table. There's a self-serve water station, and you'll also need to grab your own napkins and silverware. None of that was explained when we ordered, but we eventually figured it out. We had a group of five, and the opinions on the food were pretty mixed. If you're thinking about the ricotta pancakes, absolutely plan on sharing them. The order comes with three absolutely massive pancakes. Each one is about half an inch thick and roughly the size of a large adult man's hand. They're impressive, but I really wish the menu gave some indication of just how enormous they are. Unless you're planning on taking leftovers home and eating a lot of microwaved pancakes later, it's way more food than most people would expect. I ordered the standard breakfast with scrambled eggs, chicken sausage, wheat toast, and the smashed potatoes. The scrambled eggs had a really nice texture (soft, fluffy, and cooked well) but they were very underseasoned. They needed quite a bit of salt and pepper. The chicken sausage was unfortunately the biggest disappointment for me. I was actually excited that it looked like a hand-formed patty instead of a processed sausage, but the flavor was just...odd. It was somehow both savory and sweet, but not in a good way, and there were chunks of ingredients throughout that I wasn't expecting. I took one bite and left the rest. The standout on my plate was definitely the smashed potatoes. They were excellent. The inside was creamy, almost like a Yukon Gold potato, while the outside was crispy and crunchy. They were well-seasoned, had great potato flavor, and several people at our table commented on how good they were. Someone else ordered the breakfast burrito, which was also huge; they could only finish about half. She said it tasted really good, but it was very rich and heavy. She thought a little more of the aioli (or whatever sauce was on it) would have helped balance all of the savory, fatty flavors. Another person ordered the breakfast sandwich. She said all of the individual ingredients were good, but together something just felt a little off. It was also an extremely messy sandwich to eat. The restaurant itself is comfortable and clean, although nothing particularly memorable about the atmosphere. Service was good overall, but one person at our table had ordered a single pancake on the side and ended up waiting about 15 extra minutes after everyone else had their food. Overall, I'd think about coming back, but I'd order differently next time. The portions are much larger than the menu lets on, the potatoes are absolutely worth getting, and while some dishes were excellent, a few just missed the mark. read more

This is my first time coming to this location, and it is just as good as the first one! Everything here is delicious, and very reasonably priced. The product comes out consistently the same between two locations, and we loved everything we tried! My all-time favorite here is the Benedict -- This is my favorite Benedict in Omaha! The churro French toast was a close second for me this time, the crispy texture on the outside was absolutely fantastic, and I loved the Nutella underneath, which added so much flavor! I got the chicken fried steak, which tasted great, but personally I would have gone with a different flavor of gravy. I think this may have been a chorizo flavor, or something with a slight spice to it-- which I don't mind, but I do prefer standard breakfast gravy for a chicken fried steak. The side of eggs and crispy potatoes were great! I like the size of this location, as it is larger than the Dundee spot. This was easier for us to find seating after we ordered at the front. I tend to usually visit they done the location, but this time I decided to try the West location for the first time. It was very busy when we got there, but we ordered quick. It was a rainy day and they do have a patio, but we couldn't sit there because of weather so they're inside was a little crowded. We were still able to find a spot at the bar. The food took a little while, but it made sense since the place was very busy! It was still not too bad of a wait. The day I visited, their espresso machine was not working so I couldn't try a specialty drink and their drip coffee was not my favorite. First time trying out this location and I had a great experience! Came here for breakfast but nothing on the breakfast menu was really speaking to me so I ordered the burger and added an egg. So good!! But heads up, it was messy. My boyfriend ordered the eggs Benedict and the worker was so nice and let us substitute the salmon for fried chicken. I definitely recommend! It was so yummy. Only critique on the food was that the potatoes looked perfectly crispy but they were not fully cooked to the point where they were soft all the way through. Overall, great food and service. This was my first time at the Shops of Legacy Good Lookin', and it absolutely lived up to the expectations I had! I've loved the Dundee location for a long time, but I'm really excited to have a location closer to my house now! The space is larger, so it's easier to find a table. I was so happy to see a second location opened in Omaha! Excellent breakfast - I went with the smoked salmon breakfast sandwich on an English muffin and it was delicious. You order at a counter, are given a number, then food brought to you. I've been to the dundee location a year or so ago and did like the options. I decided to try the West O location and was pleasantly impressed! The eggs benedict sub for bacon was the BEST eggs benedict I have ever had. They have a sweet bacon jam that is to die for! The rest of the food was also delicious! The cookie butter latte was good but on my sweetness scale of 1 to 10 (I have a wicked sweet tooth) I'd consider it to be a 6. Slightly pre on the sweet side but not as sweet as I'd prefer. I went on a Sunday at 10am and there was a line to the door. There line moved fairly quickly. The menu itself is smaller compared to other breakfast places. I had the pleasure of visiting Good Lookin this weekend and I knew after only two sips of my latte that I'd be back! After last weekend's concern at another breakfast spot about the proper response to "how do you like your bacon," I ordered bacon and toast here and each slice was spot on amazing! And delicious. (Without specific directions from me.) Toast could have been a little toastier, but the jam was fruity goodness. My friend had avocado toast, and I have to say, it looked amazing and was nothing like I make at home. At 830 on a Saturday, things were just starting to crank up and by 930, the line was constant. Here, you have to order at the counter, then food is brought to your table. Service seems pretty quick and everyone was super friendly. It can get a little noisy, but it's a bright, clean, cute spot. We were home in Omaha from Chicago for the weekend and learned about this newer breakfast/brunch spot. We had to try it. We loved it! First, note that when you walk in you first order your food at the counter. Once you order your food and get a number, then you can grab a table. There is a lot of great indoor seating, as well as a very spacious outdoor patio. The ambiance is clean, homey, and inviting. The staff were friendly and helpful from the moment we walked in, ordered, got our food, and left. Great service! Prices are reasonable and the large sides menu helps you to customize your meals. Now to the main pro: the incredible food. We each loved our meal! I was the only person who got a lunch option: the pesto sweet potato sandwich with fries. I was intrigued because I had never heard of anything like it. The lady behind the counter said it was her favorite, so I tried it. And now it is MY favorite! Turns out a panko fried sweet potato is the perfect feature patty of a Sandwich! Bursting with unique and delicious flavors, a crispy/satisfying texture, and hearty! Plus the fries were scrumptious! I'd be hard pressed to get something different next time...but everything was so good! My spouse got the biscuits and gravy with over easy eggs and sausage Patties added. His was definitely the most hearty. And it was also bursting with flavorful. The sausage gravy had a delightful kick! My mom got the churro French toast. Wowzer! So good! Sweet and savory...a decadent delight. She was very pleased. My dad got the basic breakfast sandwich. This definitely could use a side. There are few things that mend the cracks in my heart like a good breakfast burrito. Today my heart feels whole. This location out west is less busy than the Dundee one and is newer as well. Mostly clean place, cool decore, and enthusiastic staff. My wife and I ordered the breakfast burrito and the breakfast sandwich with a side of crispy potatoes. The burrito is incredibly rich and filling. On its own the first half is intensely good and then you start to get tired of the greasy, rich flavor after a bit. However, the pickled onions and salsa (phenomenal) that come on the side and the hot sauce on the tables help cut through that so you don't get flavor fatigue. The breakfast sandwich is similar in that the first handful of bites are rich and greasy and really satisfying. But with this one, while the hot sauce is still there, there's just something missing. A sweet element like a side of syrup maybe, or just something to cut through the heavy, cheesy, greasy flavor profile. It's great at first, it just gets tired. Overall, a super solid breakfast spot up with there with the best of the other trendy bfast joints around town. read more

Ok, starting off with the important stuff. This restaurant is not a table service place with waiters, so you order your food in line, grab your drinks and silverware, and find a table. They do bring the food to you and clear the table, but if you forgot something, you gotta go order again. I would say, not an ideal place for a large group due to this. I brought my 2 kids and wife here for breakfast while on Christmas break. I was glad to see a new restaurant try this location. It's been several different things over the years and everything seems to fail in this spot. It's tucked back in The Shops of Legacy and you really don't see this corner unless you're trying to if that makes sense. I think a breakfast place was a good idea. Although there are some breakfast spots close by, there isn't any in this shopping center (not counting the pastry place). Both of my kids said the food was great. My youngest said it was top 3 sunny side up egg she's had (Grandma Joes in Sidney Nebraska still hold the crown there). My wife was not super happy with the breakfast wrap, she said it was too cheesy but still good. I had the Morning wrap with bacon added ( for some reason my picture didn't take!) and it was excellent. Great flavors and I think the bacon made it, so definitely add the bacon if you order. Now the pancakes, they were AMAZING! Seriously delicious, best I can recall having. The whipped butter was a nice touch. Overall I was between 4-5 stars for this place. The pricing was far, maybe a little high for not having waiters. It's was not my preference for ordering style when I go out for breakfast, but the food was all pretty great. Service is great, food is the same as their Dundee location but quicker, and the staff is super friendly and happy. The manager took time to check on our meal, too. She's great. It's got the west O vibe to it. Eggs cooked perfectly, Veggie has was great, good toast, scrambled eggs & bacon all cooked perfectly, and coffee as fresh & hot. Was expecting a sit down restaurant , and prices reflect that it would be. Found a seat with no issues and it's nice space , not too loud. My breakfast sandwich was messy but delicious and my husband had a traditional breakfast he enjoyed. We also ordered a cinnamon that didn't come out. When the runner brought our meals, we mentioned it , and she never brought it. After trying to get attention of other runners ( by this time there was a line to door , so going to counter was not really possible. Finally we caught someone's attention and told her our situation. She was sweet and apologized. So happens the runner that brought our original meals and we requested the roll - was clearing a table behind me- my husband saw her expression and she turned and walked away. She let the second runner make it right and did not acknowledge her " mistake". Poor attitude for coworker. We took the roll home and heated it next day - was great. We will definitely go back from time to time But do feel prices are a bit steep for a non full service restaurant. read more

This was our first time to either location. We liked the look and feel of the place. The service was solid for an order at the counter restaurant. The food gets mixed reviews. Start with the positive my son had the eggs Benedict with smoked salmon and he gave it an 8.5. We all agreed the crispy breakfast potatoes were very good. My wife was very disappointed in her avocado toast. Not much avocado and the toast did not hold up so it was soggy. Also way more cheese than avocado. I had the chicken fried steak and the steak was an impressive piece of meat but unfortunately it was burnt and an hour later I still have a bad taste in my mouth. I also was not a big fan of their gravy. Overall I will give them one more shot so I can try their breakfast burritos and their Ricotta pancakes. read more
