I always forget to take a picture because I just dig right in. They have a decent amount of seating, but it can still feel tight when it gets busy. My companions had a potato casserole and some kind of burger, but I don't recall the details. I was probably too focused on my own meal, but they each got the morning glory muffins with their orders, which they loved. All of us enjoyed our food and had leftovers. The only downside was the noise. It was a very crowded Saturday morning, loud enough that hearing was difficult at times. Wheelchair accessibility: the parking situation for this restaurant is kind of weird, especially for this type of restaurant which has a traditionally older clientele there were very few accessible spots. In fact, parking was hard to come by at all, which I guess speaks to the popularity of the spot. But we had at least two cars that needed accessible parking, and neither of us could find it. We discovered that you had to place your order at the front and pay then get a pager to let you know when your order was ready. We both ordered the cheese wheel pasta, a specialty in which the pasta is cooked and then tossed in an actual cheese wheel to get a nice, thick coating of cheese on it. I added a chicken parm and Ins to my order and my wife got just the pasta with mushrooms. When we got the page, the food was fresh and hot, made to order and the cheese sauce was fantastic. It came with a piece of Texas style toast, which would have been better if it had garlic butter on it, but it was ok, toasted nicely. We had to get our own silverware and napkins, most of the orders were served in to go take out boxes, except mine since it had a decent sized piece of chicken and sauce on it, it came on an actual plate. The food was excellent, definitely well made and high quality, tasted great and was a good amount, but the price point for the food and the fact that you had to bus your own table, get your own order like a take out place, and wait as long as we did for it, we didn't feel that it was the best value. I had the crepes and my wife had the breakfast enchiladas, both were so good in their own ways. The fruit on the crepes was fresh and the drizzle was warm, I was pleased with the presentation of them too! It's a super laid back little dive bar dinner type of feel, no need to dress fancy for it. I will say it's a bit pricey compared to other similar diners who have similar options on the menu, that's the only reason they got a 4/5 stars from me! Overall, a great experience !!

Not very spicy, but that is not something they can control without taking a bite of each pepper lol. This sandwich was flavorful and unique, and I would definitely order it again. The only worker quickly got 'cookin' once myself and one other customer ordered, delivering timely service without the rushed chaos of fast food as I saw him freshly chopping up the veggies. The local artwork on the walls and the location being in Benson, Star Deli is one of my favorite sandwich spots.
