The food is good here. Coffee is hot and fresh. [[HIGHLIGHT]]It's a busy spot with early hours, but a treat for fresh donuts, coffee and conversation.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]It's mostly booths in a room of nostalgia.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We go often on a Saturday morning as a start to our weekend errands. We took our teen granddaughters on this visit and there was something for everyone to eat. Parking is right outside the building.

My experience at Harold's was fantastic. I love this place. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I love how you can tell there are regulars there and the option to sit at the bar.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]A place frozen in time.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] And the food was spot on. Great portions and prices. Nothing fancy but hits the spot. Harold's will be in our regular rotation! Wished I would have tried it sooner!

Came for breakfast to Harold's today. Omaha peeps if you have not been here it's a must. Still looks like 1968 in there. The food is fantastic!!! Service is good. Now they are busy most days but it's worth the wait if you have too. I had the chorizo hash today! FREAKING DELICIOUS!!! And seriously the best pancakes! Will be back again and again and again lol.

[[HIGHLIGHT]]I enjoyed the ambience at this greasy spoon diner![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Service was good too, thru kept our coffees full. I definitely thought my one pancake was a stack of 2 pancakes but it was just a really thick one! Overall tasted good. I would go back and maybe try an omelette and hash browns next time.

Incredible fluffy pancakes that are as tasty as they are enormous! I barely managed to take down one, but the leftovers weren't bad later on. It's hard to find true homemade hash browns on a menu and Harold's really delivered! They did need a little salt but the flavor was right on. Great texture too. Crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. I also enjoyed the diner vibe. I'd heard about this place over the years and its cinematic moments, but I wasn't disappointed. It could use a little TLC, but the inside is charming. I had excellent, friendly service and truly enjoyed my breakfast.

Glad to have found this breakfast spot. Housed in a mid century meets diner decor it has a nice mix of counter and booth seating. The wait staff is attentive and efficient at keeping the orders coming while keeping your coffee filled. The food is great - we've been in a couple of times now and everything has been delicious and enough for a sizable take home box. If you enjoy quality food in an authentic locally owned setting, this is something to try.

Our second cups of hot chocolate. It's a perfect drink for a cool rainy August morning. Yep. I said August

We have talked about eating at Harold's for years and today was our day. It is a cute little place. The turquoise booths won me over right away. The historical photos on the wall are a nice touch. Wish it wasn't so cool owned so we could walk around and look at them. The young person that seated us was calm and collected dealing with some picky customers. Our server was We lucked out and walked in and were seated right away. Since we have been here the line for a table just keeps growing. The hot chocolate is good served in those heavy old school mugs I remember from my childhood. We ordered the Susie's Special with a pancake and a Pancake Combo. We also tried a plain donut.

When I think of "neighborhood diner," Harold's Koffee House is what comes to mind. Walking inside, it's like you hopped in a time machine that took you back to the 60s- vinyl tables, vintage-styled menus, and "diner blue" painted walls. This place is another friendly diner where servers know you by name and have your order preferences memorized. They did not spare on portions, and the prices still reminded me of pre-inflation prices- you'll get your money's worth here! They offered medium-strength diner coffee with bottomless refills and all the cream and sugar my heart desired. Harold's is an excellent, unhurried spot off 30th Street to have breakfast and/or lunch. Will definitely be stopping by if I'm in the area again!

[[HIGHLIGHT]]If you want a small diner feel I highly recommend.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The service was immediate and very attentive. The coffee was actually pretty good too! My husband got 2 breakfast burritos, and I got the special of the day which was 2 slices of French toast, two sausage links, and two eggs. Prices were fair and the food was amazing. Honestly, the best French toast I have ever had. I'd go back just for the French toast again. My husband who said he doesn't like French toast tried it and ended up finishing the rest for me once I couldn't eat any more. We'll definitely be back!

Finally, something nearby, local, and brings the community together only a few minutes away. Since then, I've gone twice and been impressed by the drinks I've ordered. The gentleman working both days was kind, helpful, and made the drinks quickly but accurately. I love their specialty chai iced coffee that's made with ginger in it. It has the perfect amount of spice to coffee ratio. I have yet to try their baked goods but I look forward to that as well. The space has ample seating and tables should anyone want to sit and enjoy their drink or pastry while there. I also noticed that it would be a perfect place to study! I know I'll be utilizing this cafe more often in the near future to focus on studying. On June 20th we were celebrating our friends' 31st wedding anniversary and we decided to go out for Mexican. I'd seen a video review by Fooligan Eats for Ramona's and the food looked fantastic! But could it live up the the hype? Ramona's is in Florence which is basically North Omaha. It sits along 30th St. There is some street parking and more parking is available behind the restaurant. We were greeted right away when we walked in and invited to take a seat wherever we wanted to. There is a small area of outside seating. The seats inside are a combination of low top tables and chairs and booths. There are a few tall chairs at the bar. The restaurant decor and the building itself is a little dated. But we all know the best food isn't often found in bright and shiny places... I wish I could remember our server's first name... When I mentioned learning about Ramona's from the Fooligan Eats video she said she was the one who had served them too. She was a real sweetheart! Fantastic job with us from start to finish! Kept our drinks full and checked on us throughout the meal. The chips we received with our meal were a mix of fried flour chips and corn chips. They came with two salsas. The standard mild in a squeeze bottle and a hotter salsa in a bowl. Our party ordered the following: 1x Indian taco 2x Fried burritos (1x as is and 1x with a couple of subtle changes, chili on the side etc.) 1x Burrito dinner 1x Unsweetened tea (the rest just had water) Everyone loved their food! We have a small local chain called Tasty Tacos in the Des Moines metro that I really like. They serve a fried flour taco as their signature. More what you would probably call a puffy taco... That was the first time I'd had a taco on indian fry bread. My companions are all originally from Oklahoma so fry bread is something they know a little about... My indian taco was delicious! Mounds of shredded cheese and a very generous helping of beef under it. Ramona's has a fried flour/puffy taco too. They call it their Giant Taco and it's a full 12 inches across! The portions are HUGE! The prices are more than reasonable. All four of us ate for a little under $50 before tip I've had a few days to think about it... The drive from where I live to Ramona's is roughly two hours (plus or minus a few minutes). Now I'm not entirely sure I would drive the two hours just for their food, but I can tell you if I was ANYWHERE near there it would certainly be one of my go tos! Mexican food not really your thing...? They have burgers and a breaded pork tenderloin too! If you haven't tried Ramona's and it's in your backyard... Shame on you! A guy from Iowa shouldn't have to say it... Go try their food! https://ramonasmexicanresturant.com/#

They were out of Indian Tacos even though those are touted as one of the house specialities. Several in our group intended to order an Indian Taco -- and we didn't arrive late in the evening when it might be expected to run out. 2. Service was abysmal. Slow to come for our orders, very slow to deliver the food, and didn't come back to check on water or if anything else might be needed. 3. While ordering, we told the server we wanted 5 separate checks for our group of 7. She delivered a single check which totaled $78 including tax. After she went back and split up the check, the totals amounted to $99. That represents quite a hefty tip -- which was definitely not deserved. It seemed like we were gouged on the split. 4. The Chips & Salsa size was paltry -- only a small portion of mixed chips. I wondered if perhaps the server dropped part of the order while bringing it out. Surely they don't pretend that it was a full order. Gouged again... 5. Sadly, I had recommended Ramona's to some people who have visited our facility while in Omaha. I won't be doing that again. My previous rating of 4 stars is now changed to 2 stars.

The dinner service manager is knowledgeable and passionate about the dining experience. When we ordered the radicchio salad, I was skeptical that it would be bitter, but was curious to try it.
