There's usually a wait during peak times, but it is definitely worth it. My go-to is the chicken fried steak. They also have some amazing pancakes... I always forget to take a picture because I just dig right in. They have a decent amount of seating, but it can still feel tight when it gets busy. Bookguy wanted a muffin, but they were out. The pastries in the case were not like anything I had seen before, except for the cookies. The counter person described what they were, rather than naming them. Thus we ended up with a mushroom thingie and a pizza thingie. The mushrooms were minimal, black shreds with no flavor in a cornbread-like square. Bookguy rejected it after one bite: too dry and flavorless. I didn't think it was awful, but I wouldn't get it again. The pizza thingie was ok. The soft square of bread was fresh, with two pepperoni rounds, a teaspoon of mild pizza sauce and a teaspoon of white cheese. I especially liked the bread. Lastly, the coffee. It was excellent. I ordered a cappuccino with oat milk. I commented on the fancy machines they use and the "barista" pointed under the counter and said it was a robot. So maybe they don't have a trained barista, just a button pusher because they have a coffee-making robot. Nevertheless, it was great coffee. That being said, I can't imagine coming here again.
