Cup & Cone in Bennington is officially one of my new favorite local spots. From the second you walk up, it has the cutest coastal meets Midwest charm. The exterior is adorable, and inside it's bright, cozy, and thoughtfully styled warm lighting, clean design, and the kind of vibe that makes you want to sit and stay awhile. I ordered a Large Blueberry Coffee Cake Latte (iced) with brown sugar and cinnamon cold foam, and it was SO good. Perfectly balanced not overly sweet, super smooth espresso, and that cold foam on top just made it next level. You can tell they care about quality. I also grabbed a pastry (the cinnamon coffee cake muffin was incredible) fresh, moist, and the perfect pairing with coffee. I recommend getting it warmed up. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and everything felt intentional and well-run. It's such a gem for Bennington whether you're grabbing a quick drink or meeting a friend for coffee. This is a cute spot in the historic part of Bennington. Walking distance to a nice playground and other restaurants. I initially thought there would be a freezer with lots of different flavors to choose from but you select chocolate, vanilla or twist ice cream then they make it into a sundae or shake. Stopped here the other night for a little dessert after a big meal out and because it's close to home. Not my first time here and definitely not my last. Service is always with a smile and very quick. I typically get the affogato which I discovered here and absolutely love. The rich creamy ice cream topped with a delicious shot of espresso is magical. But because I was so full from dinner I decided on an iced latte which I was super excited to see that they had sugar free English toffee flavoring that I've never seen before in any coffee shop. So delicious!! My husband opted for a strawberry shake that he hands down said was the best he's ever had. Besides serving delicious coffees and ice cream, they also have a small selection of pastries from a local bakery and a few other items for sale from other businesses. They have a few tables for eating inside (and a pitcher of ice cold water because that's a necessity with ice cream) but also a lovely outdoor patio when the weather is nice. First time visiting this coffee shop! Very cute inside. They have indoor and outdoor seating. They have lots of options to choose from (coffee, tea, lattes, ice cream, pastries, etc.). I got the dubai chocolate iced latte and enjoyed it. I did half sweetness though because I don't like the syrups overpowering the espresso. The ladies helping me were very welcoming and nice. I stayed there for a couple of hours to do work and seems like a lot of people were ordering their affogato! Next time I will have to try that. read more

My friend and I had seen this place on TikTok and decided to make the drive from Omaha and visit. It was an insanely cold Saturday, and the weather did not stop other people from having the same idea. We arrived to find the line out the door. Once we were inside, we saw there were only 3 small tables to sit at, in which all were occupied. The service was pretty quick and the people working there are kind. I got the seasonal iced cookie butter latte. As a lover of all things cookie butter, I wasn't a fan. The taste of cookie butter was a bit faint. It was unfortunate that we made the 30 minute drive (both of us coming from different parts of Omaha) and couldn't sit to enjoy our drinks and company. Tried this spot recently and had a mostly positive experience. We ordered the white chocolate strawberry latte with a cream base and a blue raspberry energizer. The latte was light and refreshing, and the staff was very accommodating when I asked for it without espresso. The blue raspberry energizer wasn't my favorite, but my husband liked it--he did say the raspberry flavor was pretty strong. Their machine was down during our visit, but we were still able to get vanilla ice cream with Oreo cookies. It was fine, but nothing out of the ordinary. They had some local items and shop branded items and it wasn't ridiculously priced and they had the best fall options already!!!! This place was so cute and cozy!! They have a nice amount of seating indoors and outdoors. I was also surprised to see a walk up window to order!! They had a great menu selection as well as seasonal items. I love that they carry a ton of baked goods and gluten free items from Conscious Comforts. Of course I had to get a gluten free poptart. I was super pleasantly surprised by my visit to Cup and really see myself making the trip out to Bennington to visit again! I'm not sure if I would have tried this place without the coffee passport, but I am so glad I did! There is seating inside as well as on the front and back patio, and the cafe is super cute. Kind of quaint beachy vibes. There was only one girl working, and she handled a rush of customers with kindness and composure. I ordered the teddy graham latte with oat milk, and it was DELICIOUS. Oh my gosh!! I can't believe this spot is 10 minutes from my house and I've never been. We stopped in on Sunday and while there was a line, it moved quickly and I can see why this is such a happening spot. There is a HUGE variety of coffee drinks, and shakes. I love this little hole-in-the-wall spot in Bennington! The espresso flavor is so smooth and rich, and my blueberry coffee cake latte was incredible--I had to force myself to sip slowly instead of chugging it because it was that good. There's plenty of parking outside, which is super convenient. Inside seating is limited, but there's some outdoor seating available too. Honestly, this is exactly what Bennington needed. Cup & Cone in Bennington is a cute little coffee shop with custard, cookies, breakfast sandwiches and other treats. I was there because it was stop in the Nebraska Passport book. The manager was very friendly and we kept up a running conversation while I was there. I think I ordered an iced lavender latte, but it's possible that I was distracted by our conversation and misspoke. It's also possible that she was distracted and just made a regular latte. I didn't realize it until I was on my way home and really tasted the latte. It was good, I liked it, but I'm pretty sure it didn't have lavender. No biggie. I also had a breakfast sandwich. It was premade, wrapped in plastic, and labeled. It was microwaved to serve. The wrapping kept the English muffin from drying out. Again, my motor mouth distracted me so know there was egg and cheese, but I'm not sure what the protein was. I guess that mean I'll be making a return visit. read more

I've had my eye on this cute little shop since they opened and I was so delighted to get a chance to visit recently. Loved: Charming atmosphere with a cozy upholstered bench and pillows, a few small tables and a small window bar facing the street. The staff was hard at work, cleaning during lulls and busy and helping each other during any moments of high traffic. The custard was delicious! Their seasonal menu sounds creative and fun (cinnamon roll latte, spicy honey nut latte, etc) Spacious patio out back for warm weather days Could improve: I ordered a cafe au lait. 2/3 of the workers had to ask what that was (this should have steered me to a different drink I suppose) because it fell flat. Lukewarm (airpot's fault? Milk temp?) And the flavor I asked - their oatmeal cookie - was underwhelming with a VERY subtle brown sugar/caramel, but no spice of cinnamon or nutmeg or cardamom etc I'd also love to see a water refill station added to their condiment bar On a 40° morning, it was a weird choice to see the barista prop both doors open at 9AM and ultimately led to our quick moving on because it made the cafe so cold. read more
