A new place in Omaha for me to try. A Catered Affair - catering company and cafe, bakery. We enjoyed dinner there. There is even a happy hour menu with lots to choose from. The food was served hot, fresh and delicious. Bakery items were above the desserts but too high for me to see or take pics. I hope to come here again on my next trip out. Ok, bye.

We went back for more brunch at A Catered Affair, and it was just as good as the last time! Food was super fresh and you could tell it was made from scratch. I would skip the hash brown casserole next time, but everything else was superb. The fries are coated and not gluten free, but they did have a gluten free bread that I was able to use with my sandwich. The waitress was very attentive and it looks like they added more tables since the last time I went. It still is on the smaller side, but since the weather was nice, we were able to grab a seat outside and enjoy their beautiful patio. Overall once of my favorite hidden places to go for brunch.

Incredible! I've been looking for a a good Caesar wrap in Omaha for years! My favorite one is in nyc & comes cold but their Crunchy Caesar Wrap may have that one beat! Delicious, high quality, great Caesar dressing, and I'll definitely be going out of my way for this. 2 years ago I made a spreadsheet with my friend to find the top Caesar salad in Omaha, and this may have the entire list beat. The house chips are basic but good, I was told to try them with the ranch which was solid too. The mini cheesecake bites are delicious too and not too heavy. Texture is more whipped than dense. I've also had the Cali chicken sandwich and the chipotle melt. Both also very good but I'd opt toward the Caesar. The one thing I'd skip here is the burger. Too saucy for me, there are other spots I prefer for burgers and this menu has been items to try. The service is super fast and very kind! And the vibe in the restaurant is very relaxed and welcoming.

I recently learned that you can stop in here for a meal, and had to check it out. This is one of the best brunch spot I've been to in Omaha!! The price point is impressive for the quality of food you get. Every plate we got was absolutely delicious, incredibly fresh, and absolutely beautiful to look at too! The fries were the perfect texture, came out piping hot, and with four different ales to choose from! I had the salmon bagel, and the quality of the salmon was absolutely amazing, I couldn't believe it for $12! Sides were also very fresh, and complemented the meal perfectly. The bagel had the right amount of crispiness for the meal! I had a cinnamon roll for dessert, and this could've been the size of about three cinnamon rolls at most other places! I asked for extra frosting, and they gave me plenty. The taste was absolutely amazing-- I need to come back just for this! The staff was very friendly, we had a service dog, and a baby with us. Although they only had two high chairs with her both in use, as soon as one was free, we got to use it. The meal did take a little bit of time to come out, but I'm guessing it's a pretty small kitchen, since the café seating itself is a small area. We enjoyed the shaded patio, and it was crowded both inside and out during our visit! Overall, this is a highly underrated spot in Omaha in my opinion!! I wish it was more of a central location, is that maybe it totally deterrent. I will definitely be coming back as soon as I have the chance!!

Come for breakfast - stay for dinner. You will not be disappointed. Not my first review of ACA but I absolutely love this place. Came here for a quick appetizer and got the spinach and artichoke dip. Not only was it delicious but the presentation is so pretty. They go out of their way to make a visual statement. Trying their Italian sausage and cheese stuffed shells to go. I've heard it's fantastic too!

I went to brunch with my friends at A Catered Affair, and we had a wonderful time! I brought my toddler along as well, and they were very accommodating. I got the breakfast burrito, and iced vanilla latte, and my friends and I shared the fry flight and all were delicious. For my daughter, I ordered a side of avocado and a side of fruit. She loved it! We sat on the patio, which was covered and perfect for a warm morning.

Started with Artichoke dip and bread that was Fabulous!! Then a round of Rubens, all with different sides we shared. The fries and chips were the real deal. The Rubens were hearty and perfectly layered with what must have been homemade sour kraut, fresh and crunchy. The meat, cheese and sauce were perfect. Bread complimented its layers deliciously. Truffle fries, regular fries, potato chips all were excellent and full flavor. Smoked beef chili was hearty and packed a little punch. So good! Loved our waitress, Julie B--thank you for being attentive as well as helpful in ordering! Obviously, you sold us on everything. Very quaint place, comfortable seating at tables, open atmosphere but felt homey and welcoming. Iced Tea, soda and coffee were delicious and kept full. We shared Lemon Bars and Blondie for sweet nibble dessert- forgot pics of those! Great but we were sooo full already. Our leftovers packed up and added on some other things from their case of takeaways. The variety was incredible from salads to entrees to sides and of course sweets. Way too much to take in on our first visit. We will definitely be BACK!!!

Drove north yesterday to give this place a try. And it didn't disappoint. Only negative is the room is ambient so it was loud as they were busy. Service is outstanding! So prompt, attentive and friendly. We ordered the chips with homemade salsa / short rib queso. Was pretty damn good ! I had the French dip and it was Delicious! Finally a place in Omaha understands you're supposed to dip the hoagie in the Au jus before building the sandwich. So flavorful! The house made chips perfect . Look forward to coming back for breakfast here.

Great food, it all tastes amazing. Very friendly service, has a mid town environment without being in the city.

This is a small little brunch place that's packed with warmth. The servers are very friendly and the food is fresh and flavorful. I've had the breakfast sandwich with everyday croissant and cured salmon and it's the perfect combination. The bacon was a bit dry but the egg is moist so it's great. The cured salmon is fresh and I would totally come back again

Breakfast sandwich on everything bagel, hot latte

I don't drive out West/North often, but I'd make a special trip just for this place. Walking in, you immediately notice the bright, well decorated space that feels like a little farmhouse cafe. We were greeted right away and directed to seat ourselves. The waitress came over quickly and took our drink orders while we pondered on the menu. I ended up with a hot vanilla latte and the breakfast sandwich on an everything bagel. While I wished the bagel was a little chewier on the outside, it was really soft and flavorful. The eggs were fluffy and the bacon was crunchy and slightly sweet which perfectly balanced the salty of the bagel. My friend got the same sandwich on the XL biscuit and she raved about the biscuit, reporting it as buttery and flakey. We were eyeing all the sweets in the case but made the mistake of filling up on our main dishes so that's a must when we return!

In a good way, of course. She did allow me to share her Maple Braised Bacon (meaning that I was able to snatch a piece while she wasn't looking). Really, really fine, something I'd definitely order again. For me. Not to share. I had the Schnitzel Bennie with tart cherry jam and lemon hollandaise. Sound unusual? Tasted great! My only gripe was that the pork cutlet was a bit small and could have used a bit more seasoning in the breading. Would I order it again? You betcha! Service was fast and efficient. The decor was quirky and inviting but the space was loud enough that it was really hard to carry a conversation. Overall rating: yahoo!

My husband is a much harsher critic than I am, and he gave it a "rare 5.5 out of 5." The pancakes were some of the fluffiest I've ever had. They also have a great selection of coffee flavors to choose from, which was a fun bonus. The coffee paired perfectly with breakfast, though I probably wouldn't come here just for the coffee alone. The flavor was good but it did have a slight burnt taste. A quick note: you order at the counter before sitting down. It's a mix of self-serve and sit-down service. You order at the counter, grab your own silverware, and seat yourself, but they bring your food and drinks out to you (other than water). I do wish they were a bit more attentive about clearing finished plates during the meal. The restaurant was so busy that the line was out the door when we arrived, but it moved surprisingly fast. I was worried we wouldn't find a table, yet there were plenty of open seats available. The atmosphere is also really nice and cozy, making it a great spot to start your day.

Ok the other hand, the service is rather iffy & unpredictable. The chicken & waffles is my go-to for each visit, and they have many types of delicious sides to choose from, with my favorites being the biscuits & berries, goat cheese grits, and also the fried green tomatoes. I have zero problems with the food that they serve here, they always do an excellent job at preparing whatever they need to prepare & the portions are always satisfactory. As for the service, there are days where you will receive perfect service while on others the service is not so great. Some days you will be attended to in a timely manner, while there is other days where there isn't anyone available or willing to seat you somewhere. I've also experienced instances where they didn't attend to our table to take orders until I made a complaint. Most of these instances were during days where the place was virtually empty so it's not because of the place being busy. I've also ordered take out from here before, again some instances are perfect and there's other instances where they don't tell you if a certain food is out of stock via text or call so if you ordered something that isn't in stock, you're forced to wait for them to prepare something else once you arrive to pick up your order. They also don't always include syrup or butter in the takeout bags for chicken & waffles. One minor thing I'm also disappointed about is how the portion of grits has lessened over time, going from being served in a bowl to instead being served in a small cup/mug. Overall, I certainly don't return for the service because you never really know if it's going to be a good day or a bad day for that. It's always the food that brings me back. I do want to like this place, and I do to an extent but again the service is always unpredictable. I'd still say the food is worth coming here to see how it goes.

They were fairly busy, and honestly our food took a bit to come out, but I am still giving a five due to the overall experience and quality of service. Our server Melannie was fantastic and always present. We did the bottomless mimosa deal (3 out of 4 of us) and she was always coming around asking us what flavor we wanted next when our current was still half full to make sure we got our moneys worth. The champagne might not be the fanciest, but for $20 bottomless mimosas I'll take it. They have fun flavors in addition to the basic ones like strawberry, mango, etc. which adds an element of fun. For food--there were several things I was eyeballing but landed on the spicy chorizo Benny. It was really good, eggs cooked perfect, and came with hashbrowns. Another at our table got the poutine which also looked yummy. I'd say the food portion could have included a bread/toast option, however If brunching in Omaha i'd return to try several things on the menu. The vibe inside is chill, would be more fun sitting outside once the weather warms up. Since I was the one that booked the reservation, the tab got a bit confusing. At first they were taking it off my total, then the server said that hold would come off so I paid for my meal/drinks there. I did end up getting double charged (for both the reservation hold and my meal) which was cleared up with a quick phone call to their establishment---apparently it is a new process they are trying. I do understand though why they wouldn't want to just deduct the hold as then people that don't know how to tip wouldn't tip on the total, which hurts the server. All was cleared up regarding this mishap though so no complaints.

May 25th, 2026 Food:…read moreWaited a whole hour for an easy order... which was a mini charcuterie board with a plate of avocado toast... when it was served... it looked pretty and at first I didnt mind about the long wait, but I was disappointed because it tasted like it was made an hour ago but was barely being served to me a whole hour later.. so yeah.. not worth it and now I do mind.. a soggy toast isn't on my list.. Ambiance: It was a nice regular refreshing bar/brunch spot. But safety was a HUGE issue which is where I'll get to my point of this low rating. Service: Is negative zero a thing? That goes to the owner... the 1 star is for the decent service my server attended towards me. In unfortunate events it's not the servers fault.. but overall with the owner coming out, couldnt be anymore careless.. The Cause: Either the owner or a staff employee whomever that is responsible for setting up the patio umbrellas, and I mean those large heavy metal patio umbrellas, well, they failed to lock the pole of the umbrella and unfortunately the umbrella lifted and blew away and had hit a family in the face that were dining there also; instant noticeable bruising to the face... I was only a table away from them.. it could have been me too. I am disappointed in the lack of care in general that surrounded the scene. Little 5 ft me... was the only one that came to help while everyone else sat around and minded their own business... it took a long while until one of the staff noticed to help and then the owner came out and awkwardly said a one word-sorry and dipped... didnt come back to offer any hospitality, non-genuine and non-apologetic... it made me lose my appetite. They had the audacity to still charge the family their meal... but I had to tell these really nice folks to make sure they get comped back. It was sickening to me on how careless they were treated. I would never come back! I mean an exaggerating long wait, cold soggy food and careless hospitality from the owner himself. That's three major strikes. P.s. That same wknd.. the news showed up about a South Carolina woman that was struck by a patio umbrella and died on site... that says alot about lacking safety. Yes, search it up. It's real news.. Hope this help improves the business alertness. P.p.s. And although I was disappointed at this dining-bar overall... I still tipped my server a good $20 as the situation was out of their control, my server was still attentive towards me. They all just need social common courtesy in empathy and hospitality. But anyways, my lunch ended with bittersweetness with the family that got struck, they comped my whole meal for genuinely being the only one that was concerned for them. The only service I'm grateful for was that.
