We stopped by catered affair for a birthday brunch with a party of five. The service was outstanding! Our waitress went out of her way to accommodate anything we needed and was very friendly. As far as food, everyone at our table was impressed! I had the breakfast burrito and then other ordered meals were the Reuben and two breakfast sandwiches. We also munched on a cinnamon role and a piece of avocado toast. Everything was delicious! The Bloody Mary had the flavor to earn itself a spot on my Top 5 Omaha Bloody Mary list, despite not having a bunch of treats that came with it. I heard great reviews from the table about their Mimosas as well, made with fresh squeezed Orange Juice. My only complaint is the noise level but you can't help having a busy crowd. Wouldn't be my first choice just to catch up with a one-on-one conversation because of the noise. Will definitely recommend though moving forward! read more

We selected ACA as our wedding caterers, so it may seem a bit biased when my family, my husband, and I say the food was amazing. However, our guests also RAVED about the food so we know ACA nailed it! The vinaigrette they used on the salad still has my mouth watering, and the steak and salmon both were seasoned and cooked to perfection. Not to mention, the ACA team was working out of a relatively new kitchen and venue, and they were tasked with preparing, plating, and serving food to 300+ guests! Their execution was masterful and we are so grateful for their services. Also worth mentioning - my mom and I have eaten at their brick-and-mortar location a handful of times. Would never recommend this "family" business to anyone. There is no way they already started making an egg casserole over 24 hours before my pick up time. this place doesn't understand unfortunate mishaps in life. Two of us enjoyed sandwiches and one ordered the skillet with three eggs. We were all very delighted with the food. Our waitress Shay was attentive and helpful and went beyond giving us an idea of each food we were ordering! They were very busy as it was a Friday night, but I thought the waiters could have been a little more "smiley." The dessert display featured so many different kinds of sweets. It was hard to choose. We got a lemon square and a pumpkin bar and divided them because we were so full from our meal! They were delicious. Handicap facilities were OK. They were around the back of the restaurant, but there was a nice smooth sidewalk leading to the front door. In bad weather, It might be a problem. read more

Hello Kathy and Scott, My company, OCI Insurance, recently catered an event with A Catered Affair. We hired them because we knew the food would be delicious and beautifully presented, but the staff was beyond helpful. They were professional and courteous, they made sure all the food stations (we had 4 food stations around the office) were always stocked and tidy. The main person I spoke with during our event, I believe her name was Makayla, was so on the ball. She made sure to ask questions about small details we hadn't thought of. They packed up our leftovers carefully and were completely inobtrusive to our guests while doing it. Everyone commented about the meatballs and the bacon wrapped shrimp, also the spinach artichoke dip and the queso; all of it was outstanding Kathy and Scott, you have for pulled together not only top-notch food, but an awesome team as well!! read more

Atmosphere is casual and service staff is friendly. There is a large menu of items to choose from. I chose a classic Reuben sandwich with the truffle fries. The Reuben was good, but I would not rate it better than others to be found in Omaha. The truffle fries were the star of the meal. These are fries you will not want to coat with a layer of catchup, as the subtle flavor of truffles will be destroyed. I highly recommend them! read more

This review is specifically about the cafe and it is an amazing gem in Omaha. We have gone there for breakfast, lunch, and happy hour and have never been disappointed. The cinnamon rolls are tasty and HUGE! They offer different flavors on a weekly basis. The drinks from the bar are handmade cocktails and not just your run of the mill mixed drinks. We get food from the case often to take home and heat up. From meatloaf to salads to chicken strips, you can find a home cooked healthy meal. *I saw a review on here from Chuck for two stars that was lackluster and I just gotta say that he has never made a nice review. Their customer service SUCKS!!! I placed an order totaling $90. My husband is in the hospital and I started on the Saturday before Thanksgiving to cancel my order. I called every day but was never able to talk to anyone but left messages to cancel. Never heard from them so went at my scheduled pickup time to make sure my order had been cancelled--it hadn't. So I'm stuck with a lot of food I can't use. If they had any decency at all and had any level of customer service, they would have cancelled my order and credited my $90. Man, that Cali Chicken Sandwich was something to write home about! Great service, smiles, and a bright atmosphere. Really impressed with the sights and sounds of the space as it seems like noise from traffic could have been annoying, but it faded into the background as we enjoyed our time there. Did I mention the HUGE cinnamon rolls?! We came back a different morning to get some for a team breakfast. Pretty fairly priced, and big enough for two people to split. had a work affair and your establishment catered the menu which was steak and chicken and grilled veggies and toss salad and loaded mashed potatoe's and dessert and steak cauliflower &both meat's was dry and very tough the veggies on the salad whent to the bottom of the bowl there no condiments for any of the food besides the salad had dressing the mashed potat's were thick and not creamy whole menu just was not good no referral what so ever not good at all read more

Wouldn't have heard about this place otherwise, but we were given a gift card and now I'm definitely telling others about it! Called to place a to-go order on a busy Saturday afternoon, ordered the salmon platter($7), the cali chicken sandwich($13 or $14 before adding bacon) with bacon and truffle fries, and the artichoke dip($9). Everything was ready within 20-30 minutes and seriously tasted so good. For the salmon platter everything came on a bed of lettuce but was kind of like a disassembled sandwich and they had the bagel wrapped up separately so it didn't get soggy! Seriously it was so good. The artichoke dip came in a little to-go container and the bread(8-10 little buttered pieces of dipping bread) again was packaged up so it stayed warm and didn't get soggy. My husband ate his sandwich before I could even get a look at it but that means it was yummy. I did get to try the truffle fries and they were probably your average truffle fries. Overall, for the price of our entire meal, the accuracy of the order, and how all made in a very short amount of time, I will be telling friends about this place . The food was picked up 20 minutes from where we are located and it was STILL warm and delicious by the time we ate it. 10/10 please try this place! read more
