From the moment you walk in, the space feels bright, clean, and calm modern but cozy, with plenty of natural light and a relaxed café atmosphere that makes you want to slow down and actually enjoy your time there. The food is truly the star. I tried the seasonal butter pecan tiramisu latte, which was absolutely delicious perfectly balanced, not overly sweet, and so smooth. For pastries, the strawberry and cream croissant was light, flaky, and fresh, with just the right amount of sweetness. The egg and bacon croissant was savory, satisfying, and baked beautifully, and the double egg bake was hearty and flavorful, ideal if you're looking for something more filling. Service was friendly and efficient. The staff were welcoming, patient, and happy to answer questions, which made the experience feel easy and inviting, even during a busy time. I discovered this Korean French inspired bakery that I fell in love with! Cafe culture is really popular in Korea so I was so happy to find a place in Omaha like that! It's a self serve layout but there are some items closer to the check out area that you cannot serve yourself. So many different types of bakery items and not too sweet. Such a fun, bright, and exciting place to come for a treat! It was tough to choose what I wanted to try, I ended up with a mushroom pastry, pain au raisin, pain au chocolate, and a sausage block. I love little bakeries like this and frequented them while I lived in California, but this one isn't it I'm sorry to say. Arrived midday and the selection was decent for the size of the store. They weren't too busy and we spent some time looking at the options (taking photos). I decided to get an ube taro bun and a red bean paste bun. My husband got the macarons since those are supposed to be gluten free. The hazelnut macaron was tasteless other than sugar. The matcha was okay, but the matcha wasn't fantastic. Both of them almost tasted freezer burned like they had been long since premade and defrosted. The ube taro bun is filled with a delicate whipped filling. They had just freshly made them and were packing them so I asked for a fresher one. The lady seemed really annoyed at me, but did it anyways. I'm glad I got a fresher one because I ate half of it and in 20 minutes the cream had mostly absorbed into the bread. It didn't taste bad, not as nice. The red bean paste bun was gross. The red bean paste was gritty and not blended very smooth. The walnuts were just weird and tasted rancid. I've never had a red bean paste bun with walnuts and I don't think I'd want to again. We ended up trashing it due to the rancid flavor. I've had AMAZING pastries and such at other bakeries but this one just isn't it. It's 3 stars at best and probably closer to 2 stars just rather "meh." We need a Paris Baguette or a 85C Bakery here in Omaha. IYKYK. read more

My guilty pleasure is going to Tous Les Jours on a weekend morning. This place is fantastic, it's so cozy and the shop has so many tasty treats and drinks. This spot is just so aesthetically pleasing and inviting. The pastry selections are out of this world. We ordered a mango cream-filled donut, a curry croquette, a blueberry danish and strawberry cream croissant. Each pastry was absolutely amazing, but the curry croquette was our favorite-it had such good flavors and texture. I also ordered the iced honey lavender matcha latte and loved it-this will be more go to drink for the foreseeable future. I like that a lot of people come here with their study materials and find comfort in doing their work here. The food is always so good, I have not had a single pastry that I haven't liked. I always get the strawberry croissant and some form of pastry with cheese and meat in it for protein. The spinach feta is so perfect and it fills you up when it's paired with a little dessert pastry like the chocolate horn. Again, I had never been here before so I just held the pastries I wanted to get but they also have trays to put your pastries on and they are wrapped so it's totally okay! I had to grab the last tiramisu of course and it was out of this world!! The green tea cake was so delicious I finished that in maybe 5 bites! Don't even get me started on the walnut stuffed cream cheese pastry and the honey toast! I was too lazy to warm it up, but it was still sooooo freaking good!!! They do have coffee there as well if you need something delicious to drink with your amazing treats! There are 2 front row 10 minute parking in front of their bakery, however there is also available that isn't right up front, but sometimes really packed because they are next to Charlestons. Each pastry is so beautiful and looks incredible. I was in awe when I first walked in on how well organized Tous Les Jours is. I loved walking through the store to see so many pastry options that all looked absolutely incredible. I got to get a tray and tongs to select which ones I wanted. My favorite pastry I got was definitely the strawberry croissant. It had a nice crunch, flakiness, creaminess, and perfectly fresh strawberries in it. I also absolutely adored the raspberry macaron. I'm not sure you can go wrong with any pastry you choose here. I also got the triple berry cloud cake for my anniversary, but had ordered for the following Sunday rather than the correct one.... I was so grateful that the staff informed me that they could still get me that cake in a few hours! Saved the day on me trying to get my fiancé and I a beautiful cake. I also tried the iced caramel macchiato which was super tasty and my fiancé got the iced lavender latte (also super good). Overall, I am beyond impressed with the Tous Les Jours and have already told many people about how they should check it out! The pastries are some of the best I've had and the atmosphere here is also so nice. I saw a couple who got some pastries and brought books to read together early in the morning. Tous Les Jours is an amazing new addition to Omaha!! Located in the Heritage Plaza, it is located on the opposite side of the of the shopping center from the Asian Market. Tous Les Jours originated in South Korea and is a French Asian bakery that serves the finest freshly baked goods, including artisan pastries, gourmet cakes and desserts, and handcrafted coffees and teas. As you walk in there are trays and tongs for you use to place your pastries on. Once you choose your pastries from the glass casings you take your goodies to the cashier to pay. They even have a seating area inside if you'd like to enjoy your goodies in the store. Here's what we ordered: Yuzu pie $3.75 Flaky pastry puff filled with yuzu filling. It has a grapefruit-y and lemony with a hint of mandarin orange filling. Our favorite item !!! Sweet cheese and blueberry danish $3.75 Strawberry and Cookies and Cream macarons, so tasty. Crispy exterior with that chewy interior. Mushroom, Onion, Cheese pastry $3.95 Flaky and perfectly cooked veggies. So yummy if you like mushrooms and onion. Pan au chocolate $3.50 Flaky croissant with filled with chocolate. SO good. Fruit pastry $4.50 Flaky pastry topped with whipped cream, strawberries, grapes, black berries and blue berries. Second time here, first time I had a cold mushy sat out all day "grilled" cheese sandwich. It was pretty awful. The environment looks very clean and the food on display looks very pretty. This is a macron I took today go, the Rose favored one; it did not miss. It tasted exactly like a rose flower you pulled right from the ground. Looking to try something good here one day. Wow. This place is kind of tucked away in a strip mall. I've passed it many times and never stopped. I finally did today and was blown away. It's absolutely adorable inside and there are SO MANY options. I wanted everything and felt the prices were very very reasonable. They had loads of savory options and of course sweet options. I had the curry croquette and it was to die for. $4 I think and so crispy on the outside and the filling was amazing. I had a coconut iced tea and it was the best iced tea I've ever had. Every time I drove to Kansas City, I made sure to make the trek south to this bakery for some treats! I spoke to one of the owners, Yuki who shared she opened this shop with her husband because she was also obsessed with the Kansas location! Products: Tous Les Jours offers bread, pastries, cakes, desserts, and beverages. Pastries can be chosen by each customer by using tongs to place them on parchment-lined trays. My favorite things about this bakery: are the pastries are baked daily, unique flavors are offered, and the desserts aren't too sweet/sugary. I have yet to try the drinks or cakes here but am interested in the ube latte and blueberry yogurt cake! This week has been the soft opening for Tous Les Jours Omaha location and it does not disappoint. For savory foods, my favorites are the curry croquettes, kimchi croquettes, croque monsieur, and Korean cream cheese garlic bread. For sweets, my favorites are the yuzu pastry, strawberry pastries, and the sweet potato pastry with black sesame topping. Environment: Plenty of parking available. I tried an cranberry apple cream cheese bread (maybe called cloud bread? I can't recall!) It was so fresh and soft, and it was delicious! I didn't think the cranberry apple flavor was super recognizeable, but it was delicious regardless. My main reason for visiting was to try the macarons. I'm a huge macaron fan, and these are by FAR the best I've had in the states. I had the vanilla, raspberry, and blueberry lavender. I intended to try one and save the rest and ended up eating them all in one sitting, if that tells you how good they were. Nice and quick service & staff. 3 stars because every time I come in here, there are a few bugs flying around the pasties in the glass enclosure that the pastries are on display on. I grabbed a sausage roll, a strawberry cream filled croissant, and a soufflé cheesecake. I took my tray up to the counter and ordered a ice vanilla latte with almond milk. I took my tray to one of the comfy couches and mowed down the sausage roll and the croissant pretty quickly. The iced latte was really good too. I saved the cheese soufflé for when I got home. It was really light and flavorful. The employees were nice. The place was very clean and organized. The food was great. The regular sized iced latte with almond milk was $5.75, so this place isn't cheap. I will definitely be coming back here to try some of their other goodies. read more

This bakery was a dream! I walked in and was like a kid in a candy shop. The French-Asian baked goods are lining the shelves and all looked decadent. The croquettes looked delicious and almost fake. All of the bread looked perfectly baked and light and fluffy. The cakes looked perfectly iced in the display case. The bakery is a chain and have stores across the US but the the items are baked fresh within the store. I can only attest to the taste of the French macarons and the ube latte pictured above. I expected espresso to be added to the ube latte, but sadly there was no caffeine. I didn't ask for espresso, but this may be a possibility. The latte was not too sweet and had a decent ube taste. The French macarons were spot on. The filling to cookie ratio was perfect and the flavors were delicious. Overall, I would definitely return to this bakery. I ordered six macarons. This is the first time I have been to this establishment but I love macarons and order from a variety of places. The shells on all were mushy, which makes me wonder how old they were. The shells were soggy tasting, really soft and the insides had a stale taste. Needless to say these were a huge disappointment. I can only give a review on the macarons, as this is all I purchased. They look to have a variety of other sweets and savorys on their menu that look absolutely delicious. Maybe the batch I received were a fluke but that doesn't stop the disappointment. I would return but not order the macarons anymore but would try something else to see if I need to toss the entire establishment in the trash or just the macarons. They were all disgusting. It's a great chain and obvious why they have seen success. There are lots of different pastries that may be unique to the shop while forward thinking with their drink menu. My wife loves the macaroons and we have a fun time stopping in here on Saturdays to make sure we're making our way through the whole menu of them. The best thing in our opinion? The mocha cake. You can buy a box of it to give as a gift. My wife was blessed by one of her co-workers and we wrecked that thing pretty darn quick. It seemed like every time we passed by the kitchen we were tempted with another slice. As the holidays are approaching, we are considering gifting many of them!
