This place is a joke and a customer service nightmare ! We preordered and prepaid for a quiche for bastille day today July 14 along with 2 baguettes. When my husband arrived to pick up the order he was informed that they did not make our quiche that we specifically preordered but could have an old one that we spent $45. Oh and there were no baguettes. My husband is French, we spend a lot of time in France and this spot in Omaha is not anywhere close to what we know a patisserie to be. C'est dommage. This patisserie is an overpriced dump resting on their laurels. The girls behind the counter are beyond rude, unhelpful and nasty. And then they ask for a tip??? En croyable ! I stopped by a bookstore nearby and saw this bakery next door so went in to see what they had. It was about 20 minutes before they closed so I thought that was why the clerk did not greet me when I entered. But even after I began to order, she did not crack a smile, say anything pleasant, or even a thank you. Poor customer service which made me feel quite unwelcome. I bought three pastries, a haystack, pumpkin roll, and almond croissant. The shelves were a bit bare since it was the end of the day so there was a fairly limited selection. The haystack was my favorite - a mound of baked shredded coconut with chocolate on the bottom. The pumpkin roll was very dry and the almond croissant was not flakey. It made me wonder if the pastries (especially the pumpkin roll) was fresh. Maybe it was just an off day but despite all the other positive reviews I read, I don't know if I'd bother to come back given the poor service and only liking one of the three pastries I bought. When you look at the pictures, the pastries are pretty to look at but did not live up to their promise. read more

Superb! Everything looks so delicious, here! My latte was perfect, and the loaf of sourdough I took home had a rustic, crunchy crust, great crumb, soft, slightly chewy interior, miam!! It was great for sandwiches, and with soups. The ladies at the counter were welcoming, and the lemon tart sample they were offering was also deliciously made, lemony tart and sweet. Nice artwork on the walls, and a great place to sit and read or have conversations with friends. read more

This is our go to place for French pastries. The chocolate cupcake is sinful (especially the frosting). The croissants were so flaky delicious that they were gone before a picture could be taken. The bakery itself makes it easy to see all their offerings in a square walk around. The gelato is also good, but the pastries shine. The service was pretty average tbh. To my surprise I received a hefty, fresh, and delicious loaf of sour dough bread, and a heaping tub of chicken salad for lunch following our spat. He clearly remembered the way to my heart is through my belly (which is like abs of steel if anyones asking). He swung by the bakery on his way home and picked up the goods to go, so now I can munch to my delight in the comfort of my own home. I just love this bakery! Each time I go, regardless of which location, I can count on top quality where the baked goods are concerned. I've tried the chocolate croissant, plain croissant, and French silk danish (think French silk pie filling in a danish). For more sustenance, the quiche Lorraine, the turkey avocado sandwich, and Cuban sandwich have all been sampled and are worth getting again. This location stays pretty busy on a Saturday morning so there is no guarantee a seat will be available. If you're willing to wait, people tend to eat and go, so you'd wouldn't be waiting too long for a seat. read more

The new space is beautiful. We usually go to the location in Dundee but it's closed on Mondays so we went to the new location. Loved the decor on the walls, the options of pastries and bread, and they gelato as well. We ended up getting sandwiches to go and they were delicious. We had sort of a long wait to get sandwiches to go but a part from that it was a decent experience. read more

Popped in here yesterday and saw another girl working the counter with her long hair hanging down. I have called before about another girl with her hair hanging down. When working around food- hair should be pulled back. I've had a situation from here with hair in my food. Unacceptable. This time I turned around and left. I love this new location at 90th & Center! It's bigger, brighter, and has a few tables and chairs for dining in. The layout is fantastic to display all their delicious breads and pastries. There is also a take out case for ready made items like chicken salad, cous cous salad, pizza crusts, and take 'n' bake pizzas. Recently I ordered the ham & swiss breakfast sandwich on a croissant and got my spouse a Cuban on a fresh ciabatta roll. Both were filling and wonderful and came with a small side. The staff are friendly and helpful. Parking is plentiful and it has the benefit of being close to Long Dog Fat Cat, The Bookworm, Ever Bloom, and Fareway Meat Market. They are open 7 days per week. Excellent quality baked goods! A bit pricey, but worth it for tasty treats that have obviously been crafted with care. Service was quick and the staff was very friendly. We tried the quiche Lorraine, croissants, and brought home a couple loaves of bread. All excellent! Only point for improvement is that the coffee could be better. I was finally able to try out the newer Le Quartier location on 90th St last weekend for lunch, I liked the new digs and the quality was definitely still there. When you walk in the wonderful smell of fresh baked bread overwhelms you, still one of my favorite things about this place. I ordered the breakfast sandwich with sausage and cheddar on a croissant and my wife had the chicken salad on croissant. Both sandwiches were good, the croissant was definitely the best part. We also ordered a lemon bar and a chocolate chip cookie, the lemon bar was fantastic, it was the perfect summer dessert. The prices certainly aren't the cheapest, but the quality is top notch. read more

We discovered an incredible bakery while visiting our son and daughter-in-law. This Loveland, NE treasure creates some of the most delicious sourdough bread...and the croissants are sublime - so many other treats to enjoy too! They even have a variety of beverages to enjoy with your purchases in their beautiful cafe - the wall mural is beautiful! Came in 8 minutes before close and they all had their bags packed (and on the counter) and ready to split. I saw the Hungarian Mushroom Soup on Facebook several times and knew I had to try it. It was delicious. We also enjoyed the bakery items. My problem is that the soup which was so well advertised isn't always available. It is switched with other soups so if you want it, you have to call and see if it's available in one of their restaurants. If they can't serve it daily, I wish they'd at least post on the internet in a prominent place what the soup of the day is. Or perhaps choose a couple days a week when it is available. One day I called the Underwood location and they happened ti have it that day. But, when we arrived at 12:15 pm , it was sold out! I find this issue frustrating! read more

Service was terrible. Came to the bakery on a cold winter day last week where temperatures were around 20 degrees. The four kids we came with decided, for some reason, that they wanted gelato so we bought five scoops. After receiving them, we wandered to the cafe side of the location. There were tables with all the chairs stacked on top. That didn't bother us, we were okay standing and enjoying the gelato in the warm space. The worker quickly scolded us, saying that area was closed. We explained that we understood, we just wanted to stand in the section briefly. Apparently that wasn't okay either. Because they were closing in 15 minutes, we couldn't stand there for 5. So we left and ate the gelato in our car. read more

Ordered take and bake for Mother's Day and went to eat while picking it up. My daughter and I split the veggie breakfast sandwich and blueberry pop tart. The sandwich was delicious and had some sort of herb mayo on it which added a perfect little cake. Blueberry pop tart was good as well. We also were tempted by the gelato case and took home 3 pints. This bakery makes some of the most delicious pastries. The mixed berry pastry and the almond are light, yet rich and crispy. I was not a fan of the coffee however. I prefer a more bold flavor. I highly suggest taking a look at the menu on their site before walking in. Even though it looks crowded, the line moves rapidly. Three purchase points: pastries, sandwiches, coffee/freezer section. The staff are very friendly and informative, and they are very willing to help. I really like the interior of this place, it looks crowded, but in a minute there's somewhere to enjoy your treats. Certainly take home a loaf of bread or a 4 pack of pastries from the freezer for Sunday breakfast. read more

I went to the one on 90th and center and had a terrible experience. I pre ordered bread and they told me it would be ready the next day at 7am. I went the next day around 8 and was told it was not ready. I came back around noon and was told it was gone. I was then told that I was charged $6 but was supposed to be $6.50. I told the woman Nicole, I would just give her .50 but she refused and went on about how she can't do that and the person who rang me up did it wrong, etc. So then I offered to give her $6 as a tip and we could just start over with the transaction and she refused. She then made the young man that supposedly rang me up wrong come and apologize. She then refunded me for he money and made me buy it again so she could do it correctly. After all of this fiasco I then asked for my receipt of the credit that I was given and then the new receipt. She rolled her eyes and then threw the receipt at me and walked away. To say I am baffled is an understatement. I will never go to this location again nor recommend it to anyone. read more

My daughter placed an order over the phone for an order for pick-up & I volunteered to stop and get it. The bags were ready & I asked the employee "is that everything?" ...she assured me that it was so I took the bags & drove 10 minutes to my daughter's home. Started slicing the croissants only to discover there was no chicken salad!! Returned to ask the young lady who had helped me about the chicken salad & she curtly replied "let me check the receipt" & went to the back to get another employee who took three quarts (my daughter's receipt said three pounds) of chicken salad out of the cooler, offered no apology whatsoever & said "she didn't realize the chicken salad was in the cooler" - what a ridiculously lame excuse and waste of MY time - again, no "we are so sorry, can we offer you a discount for next time?"......I know there are many small businesses who treat the customer first & always want to make things right - this is NOT one of those!!! read more
