Reis' is serving up amazing baked goods. While their case wasn't stacked with dozens of options like some other places, it was still hard to pick what I wanted to take home. Everything in their case looked absolutely incredible - I don't think you could go wrong with any of them. The pain au chocolat and the salted caramel roll definitely are among some of my favorite pastries I've had in Omaha. The staff was so friendly bright and early on a Monday morning. So glad I finally stopped by because I will definitely be back. read more

This small but mighty bakery is tucked away in a strip mall that may make it hard to find. My gps led me there, but I had to tour parking lots to find it. Knowing it's near Brother Sebastian's helps. There was a table set up right by the door that reminded me of a kid's book called America's White Table by Raven. It's a symbol for and remembrance to service members fallen, missing, or held captive in the line of duty. It made me stop and think for a minute. The server behind the counter was very helpful, describing the various goodies. It was hard to choose. I ended up with a chocolate chip cookie, a cappuccino chocolate candy cup, a loaf of whole wheat sourdough bread and one of their specialty items which I can't name. It's a small bowl-shaped croissant. It was delicious. Tomorrow, I will be making toast for breakfast to sample the bread. read more

Love does not explain my feelings for this bakery. I had heard a lot about this Omaha staple and wow the positive reviews are all true. The Kouign Amann with layers of butter and caramelized sugar was to die for. Decadent and worth every last calorie. The Liège Waffles were so good. The caramelized sugar ( do you see a trend here) is beyond good. If you have a chocolate fix try the Pain au Chocolat or one of their very hard to get chocolate cupcakes! The almond croissant was light and simply delicious. I have been back here twice the second time to get some cookies. If you like butter cookies you will love theirs. I may be obsessed with this place! read more

This is seriously a hidden gem in Omaha! Tucked away, this is going to be a go to, especially when serving friends and family with sensitive stomachs. Reis is locally owned and only uses French flour - resulting in a thoughtful execution of ingredients and super friendly staff! After traveling Europe, I'd been itching for a great bakery experience. These croissants did NOT disappoint. The chocolate croissant has strong cacao flavor rather than being overly sugary sweet. It's fluffy and flakes apart. The almond croissant is my least favorite, just because read more

WOW, what a find! Service was excellent and the pastry's were amazing! This place will become a frequent destination for amazing food.

I never enjoy bakery items so I never order them. They always taste a bit dry and flavorless to me. That was until I met Reis' Bakery! Wow! These pastries are unique in so many ways. The pastries are a bit crispy on the outside, moist and shall I say "chewy" on the inside. Such deliciousness! These folks are the real deal baking FRENCH treats in a great way! read more

I was greeted by the fragrant buttery scent when I walked into the bakery and I can't resist to choose a few from their store. I can't remember exactly the names but Kouign Amann is one of my fav. Their Pain au Chocolat is lovely and they have this new strawberry cream eclairs that is so good. Their croissant is a bit softer on the outside (I prefer crusty-er outer layer) and less buttery that what I would like it to be, but the layers are so defined so it's great too! I would definitely revisit in future to they their other pastries and breads. Au revoir! read more

On the hunt for good, authentic French pastries. I. A world where everyone thinks and tried to make pastries. Reis' Bakery has the old world charm of authentic, delicate, flavorful pastries. I purchased a few to try and a bite of each had me wanting to eat them all.... Plus the service was just as spot on as the delicious pastries. Can't wait to try the baguette later. Stop in and try a few, you won't be disappointed! read more

I heard about this little international bakery from a local radio station and decided to swing by to check out their selection of pastries. I tried the Mont Blanc pastry in the shop-if you're a chocolate lover, you need to try this! I snagged the apple croissant and chocolate caramel pull apart. I LOVED every pastry I tried and will be a frequent customer at this place moving forward. I would say be sure to check their hours as they are limited and go earlier in the day so you have more of a selection to choose from. read more

Do yourself a favor and try one of everything on your first visit. Their croissants are what croissant's should be, soft, buttery and light. The sugar crusted bun is AMAZING!!! Not sure the official name. The cronut - best rendition I've tried! GLUTEN FREE people - they use French flour so its a lot easier on the body! My mom has a gluten sensitivity but can eat these pastries without an issue!! read more

Reis’ Bakery - One of everything! - Bakeries Near Me - Omaha, Nebraska

We bought almond croissants, pain au chocolats, strawberry pistachio baskets, and some chocolate pastries. Everything was delicious. We were too late to the party for the Kouign Amann or Pain Suisse unfortunately. Based on what we did get, we'll definitely be back. The staff were helpful and knowledgeable. read more

Breads and pastries were amazing! Will definitely become a regular. Highly recommend

I have taken both my mom and my mother-in-law to Reis' Bakery on separate occasions when they were visiting, and each time we have loaded up on delightful treats and absolutely loved all of them! This is my new go to spot for anyone visiting Omaha, because they simply need to have these pastries in their lives! The people I've interacted with each time have been helpful, kind and knowledgeable about everything offered. Get yourself to Reis' Bakery if you haven't yet! read more

Wonderful new European bakery in Omaha! They have pastries from lots of different countries, so you can get a good variety of things. They have German pastries, French pastries, French bread, sourdough, provossata, Kouign Amann, and more. All made with French flour, and they have a military discount. Flaky and buttery are two terms I love my pastries to have and they do here! read more

I ended up here becuase of the yelp description and was going to meet a friend for coffee. What I did not know was that there is actually no indoor seating..Just 1 table pushed off to the end of the display case so not very comfortable to sit at..there were also a couple of tables that sat outside, but it was not a great day for those as an option..so I had to take things to go. Although the selection is limited to only a few different items, I did purchase the Almond Croissant, and a berry pastry. All items are made with the same dough so all similar in texture and taste. They put a lot of love in making these items...and what they do is well done! read more

Did we take photos before we started eating? Not a chance. Did the baguette take me back to my many snacks on a tour bus as I travelled through France from Caen to Rouen to Paris to Versailles and back to Paris? With every bite. And for $3 it is way cheaper than repeating that trip. I have never been so excited that the line was miles long across the street. My kid and I have a new breakfast stop. We also got a berry pastry that was not overly sweet and the fruit provided the perfect amount of sweetness. And a salted caramel sticky bun that the teen says was amazing. And a hazelnut sticky bun that I say is amazing. We walked out spending $15 but like I said before that is way cheaper than booking a trip to France. I want to tell everyone to check this place out because I want them to be successful. But I also want to keep it a secret so they don't sell out before I can get there. Yum. Treat yourself but only tell your trusted friends about the place so we can all just walk in and place our order and start eating quickly. read more

Absolutely delicious cruffin (combination of a cinnamon sugar croissant in the shape of a muffin) and fun location! Will definitely be back!

Reis' Bakery is one of my go to French bakeries in Omaha. It would fit in with many of the finest pâtisseries in Paris. We have not been disappointed on any of our visits. A gem in the Omaha area. read more

I want to go back here. I came about an hour before closing and got a croissant. It was pretty good, but definitely a bit stale. It clearly needed to be consumed more fresh than I had. I feel bad having to give Reis 3 stars because I feel like if I had eaten there another time, I would have enjoyed it more. However, they did serve me this food and I review every place I go. I must review what I'm served just like I do everywhere else. Maybe I'll follow up. read more

I had seen multiple posts in various groups about Reis' Bakery and when I realized how close it is to my apartment, I knew I had to go visit! The staff was SO kind and friendly and answered any questions I had about what was available. I ended up getting practically one of everything & can safely say everything I had was BEYOND delicious. I cannot wait to go back again and see what else they offer in the future! read more

Omaha has a lot of nice bakeries. This one has definitely earned a place in my rotation. The staff is very friendly and patient. The pastries are out of this world. The stand out for me is the lime tart with coconut. It is perfectly tart and just so good. I also love their cinnamon cruffins. They are a must try for anyone who likes cinnamon. I haven't had their bread yet, but I look forward to trying it out! read more

Baguette and cronuts were great. Looking forward to trying the sourdough Sat. My wife loved the croissants just like we had in France.

Friends recommended this wonderful bakery. Their pastries are absolutely divine, and we think the best in the city - or maybe the state - or actually the whole country! I had the cinnamon cruffin, and it was amazing! 10/10! I will be back to try more for sure!

The baked goods here are totally the best! A little pricey compared to other bakeries but totally worth it, you get exactly what you pay for! Service is awesome, the bakers are very friendly and helpful! Ambiance is nice and homey, clean and well decorated. All in all I really love this place! The tarts are to die for. My mother and I dropped by to sample the goodies at Reís Bakery. Granted, we arrived an hour before closing time but there were still some delicious options. Mom got a Cinnamon Sugar Cruffin and I got a Almond Croissant. The great thing about their baked goods is that the ones we enjoyed were not overloaded with sugar, but still had a delicious buttery flavor and the the dough we super flaky and light. They were also offering samples of their Austrian Apple Strudel which they plan on adding to the menu. In my opinion, they can't offer it soon enough! It was so good, with the right combos cinnamon and sugar flavor and the crust was incredible! I no5iced the Key Lime and Chocolate Mini Tarts and they looked like delicious little works of art. Their baguettes were nice and substantial. Can't wait to go back and sample more items. We found their pricing fair and not overly expensive. Definitely check it out! read more
