Chocolate swirl dish
Olyvia K.

Came here after going on a walk in the scorching heat with my friend. I was really excited to try Dolci and to see that they have flavor burst soft serve. I decided to try the chocolate swirl since I was craving chocolate ice cream. The soft serve was really disappointing to me. The chocolate flavor was really bland and didn't really even taste like chocolate. It was $3.25 for a dish of it which was a decent amount but definitely not worth it. The service was not very friendly as we were not greeted or talked to for a while. There is also not a lot of seating inside so definitely not a place to sit down in with a large group. I was really hoping to be a fan of Dolci, but this time was not great.

The night I visited, the ice cream machine was broken down, so some of the ice options were not available. The two staff who were working there seemed a little young and inexperienced, but they were able to fulfill most of the orders and tried to accommodate what customers wanted despite the limitations given the machines were broken. The shop is connected to a really cute candy shop just next-door and is a great spot to check out on a hot summer evening.

Terimasu (layer exposed- it's a "wide slice" but a single layer; preferred!

It was Xmas downtown; we were there for UNMC's graduation. The service was perfect..... loved the quant feel of the store- we grabbed to go to continue onto other stores. Best Terimasu I have had even MINE & I'm a SNOB!

Cannoli

Such a great hidden gem in the Old Market! My husband and I stopped here for some treats as we perused the OM shops last weekend. When I walked in, I was immediately met by the sweet smell of baked cannoli and espresso. Yum! I saw soft serve ice cream and espresso on the menu, and although an affogato wasn't on the menu, when I asked for it they immediately knew what I wanted and made it in a jiffy. My husband ordered a made-in-store-fresh cannoli. I loved that they didn't fill the cannolo until it was ordered so it was fresh and the shell was crisp. It was made authentically with ricotta cheese and not too sweet. The affogato was amazing and we will certainly be going back for more!

Amaretti cookies, warmed pecans and chocolate chip walnut cookie

I stopped in at Dolci while walking around the Old Market before dinner. I always like to check out dessert shops while I'm on business trips. They are a very small local ice cream shop/bakery. I didn't want to eat ice cream for dinner so I decided to buy some desserts to save for later. I got the amaretti cookies, a bag of warmed candied pecans and a chocolate chip walnut cookie. The young lady at the register told us that she baked the cookies herself, so I definitely had to get one! They also feature desserts from another local bakery which I thought was nice. She was so friendly and gave us good recommendations. The amaretti cookies were very good and had great texture. My only small complaint is that there was a piece of lint (likely from a towel) sticking out of one of the cookies. The chocolate chip walnut cookie also had great flavor and I like that the edge was slightly crispy and the cookie was chewy. The warmed pecans were a nice treat to snack on while walking around the Old Market since it was slightly chilly. I would definitely recommend this place if you want a sweet treat.

A newer ice cream shop in the Old Market. Of course, you have to make the comparison to Ted and Wally's and I would say that they are completely different. While the Old Market district suffers no shortage of restaurants and coffee shops, the dessert/non alcoholic night cap scene AFTER dinner or lunch always felt lacking. Basically, you could get coffee, teas, or a smoothie, or ice cream at T and W if you weren't going to have desert inside a restaurant. Dolc changes that a little. It is a small owned shop on 10th next to the Christmas Store and candy shop. They have mainly soft serve items with mix-ins- so think Dairy queen or Mcflurry. I do think the taste is better than it's ice milk counter parts though and am willing to pay the downtown prices for the ambience and the locally owned feel. I love watching the crushed candies dispensed from the machine as the soft serve swirls. It's a much shorter line than T&W and for a frequently Old Market visitor like myself (who doesnt always want to stand in long line or need to eat TW constantly), it fits the needs of that sweet bite after dinner.

Stopped in to this little spot after a great dinner in the old market with the kiddos. This is a cute little shop that fits quit nicely into the atmosphere downtown. The kids where super excited about the old tin signs on the wall and kept asking me if they could have a 5 cent rootbeer float! Sadly the prices where a little higher than I'd like. Service was great from the last behind the counter and we sampled 6 different tasty treats. My favorite had to be the loaded ice cream cone with sprinkles actually in (not just on top) of the ice cream. All the treats we tried including the home made cannoli where very tasty. Prices just seemed a little high. But ultimately I would recommend it as a special treat with the family!

Heath ice cream in a sprinkle waffle cone.

I came here after walking around the Old Market with some girlfriends. I got a waffle cone with the Heath ice cream and it was delicious! The ice cream was creamy and the Heath was a perfect touch. I know some people were claiming the pieces in their Ice cream were too small, but with the toffee in the Heath, it was the perfect size to not have it glue your teeth together. Plus, they have my favorite soda....Cheer Wine!

the seasonal popcorn

the ice cream is so tasty and comes in a variety of flavors to choose from, i've also tried many of the cakes and they are tasty, my personal fav is oreo cheesecake. the workers are super polite and the shop is super cute! Definitely make a stop at Dolci next time you are in the old market!!

The ice cream is like a blizzard with the Reeces pieces mixed all the way through

The desserts weren't fresh. They were ok. Neat little place in old town / market area. Priced fairly high for what they put out.

The food is truly the star. I tried the seasonal butter pecan tiramisu latte, which was absolutely delicious perfectly balanced, not overly sweet, and so smooth. For pastries, the strawberry and cream croissant was light, flaky, and fresh, with just the right amount of sweetness. The egg and bacon croissant was savory, satisfying, and baked beautifully, and the double egg bake was hearty and flavorful, ideal if you're looking for something more filling. Service was friendly and efficient. The staff were welcoming, patient, and happy to answer questions, which made the experience feel easy and inviting, even during a busy time. Overall, Tous Les Jours is a wonderful spot for coffee, pastries, or a casual breakfast or brunch. High-quality food, great service, and a calm, inviting ambiance. I'll definitely be back to try more of their seasonal offerings.

It's the kind of store where you can go in for one thing and end up discovering five new favourites. Everything was well-stocked and organised, and the freshness--especially in the produce and refrigerated sections--really stood out. You can tell they take pride in what they carry. I really liked that they carried a wide range of various cookware, utensils, pots, cups, dishes, etc. They have a very good seafood selection and it is all fresh too. I wouldn't be hesitant in buying seafood from here and I'm from Florida which should say something. I was looking for some green loose leaf tea and the staff was also friendly and helpful, which made the experience even better. If you're trying to cook authentic Asian dishes at home or just want to explore something new, this is the spot. They also have a wide variety of Asian medicinals and makeups. I really enjoyed the little eating area and cafe style counter to buy lunch and drinks (boba and other Asian specialty drinks) at as well. Omaha is lucky to have a market like this--definitely worth the visit, and I'll be coming back often.

Lots of different Asian sauces, products, and other items. It gives me a feel of a 99 Ranch Market. There is a section of claw machines, which is rigged. Even though we did win some prize, some machines were kind of sketchy, one machine did take one of our tokens. There is a takeout/restaurant in the back, it was pretty busy while we were there. They had pre made banh mi to grab on the go, banh mi, is something that should be eaten fresh when possible. This place is pretty big and we'll organized. This is the only Asian market I've been to out here, but I think its pretty good being out here in Omaha. The cons is that the parking lot is tight, the layout of the registers are not in a good spot, when its busy the entrance way gets super congested and makes you feel cramped. The claw machine took our money and some of the machines with the good prizes didnt work. But its good to know there is a well stocked Asian market in the area.. for when have considerations to moving to the O
