I was in a tea mood, so I got matcha with a shot of strawberry puree. My drink was both creamy and sweet which is what you expect in high quality matcha. Their drinks come with oat milk but you can change that upon request. What I really like about this Godega Market location is that it's intertwined with the Old Market Passageway. It's just a cute spot with tons of history and delicious restaurants nearby. Perfect for a quick drink right before a meal. This location also has tons of outdoor seating and some indoor seating as well. Definitely my favorite location versus the one in Aksarben. Can't wait to be back! read more

I snagged a turkey sandwich from Godega market for lunch the other day while walking buy. I ended up eating on their patio area. The place has a ton of goodies and good amount of grab and go options. The sandwich itself was simple but the lettuce had a nice crisp still and the tomatoes had some crunch left. It came with a mustard and mayo packet in the container as well. I got the chicken salad sandwich and a few David protein bars to try. The sandwich was divine. The bread was so soft and delicious, I had to message them to ask what brand they use! The chicken salad was just my style, light on the dressing and a little spicy with the black pepper. The addition of arugula was a refreshing taste. i've been coming to the Godega since moving down to old market way back in July, & it is hands down my absolute favorite shop! they have a little bit of everything, like daily necessities, hot quick food, fun cocktails, healthy snacks and Delicious coffee. the service here is always above & beyond, even when the store is packed full of people this staff goes out of the way to be as kind, talkative and caring as possible! they make it so easy to just pass thru or stay and relax at for awhile. the space is beyond cozy as well, with some really great views from their window + patio seating. i especially love the detail and hard work that goes into their menu & decor, and how they provide a plethora of locally sourced items and produce!! you guys are all truly amazing people, and it as an absolute pleasure to know and be served by you read more

Just what the Old Market was missing, a beautiful, modern, elevated convenience store and coffee shop. It's a very inviting environment and offering a respite from the outdoor elements. It's the perfect spot to grab a high quality drink. I went for the mochiatto and it was SO good, the notes of the coffee reminded me of the same types of coffee I would get at little shops in northern california. Everyone is super friendly and there is minimal seating, but the bar seating has great lighting. Godega is a super cool find in Old Market! I was in town for a work trip and always use the opportunity to check out local cafes. Godega did not disappoint, it's both a hip looking bodega and a coffee shop! They have very limited seating but I went early enough in the morning so I snagged a spot on the couch in the corner. I ordered my go-to drink, a chai latte, and was pleased that their standard milk was oat which a lot of cafes normally upcharge for.
