I loved Hardy Coffee! It was our last morning in Omaha and I really needed something besides hotel coffee to start my day. I saw that this place was nearby on Yelp and once I googled them I realized I could place an online order for pickup. If you know me, you know I love a good order ahead option! We did just that and my husband walked over to get the coffee and return. I had their espresso tonic and it was absolutely lovely. I really love Hardy Coffee, i've been a few times now and the coffee has always been really tasty. I know they homemake at least some of their coffee syrups and you can taste the difference! I also love their space, it's beautiful and very open. The only thing that keeps me from going back more is I feel that they are quite a bit more expensive then other local coffee shops. Often times after I had an alternative milk, my coffee is $10+ which is just hard to justify on a regular basis. read more

Hardy Coffee is a cute coffee spot that has a lot of seating as well as drink options and fun seasonal drinks. I have always had great service here where even when really busy, the baristas work hard to get everyone's ordered out. Dogs are allowed inside and given treats which I love. They also have a water bowl outside for them! The reason I am giving Hardy 4 stars rather than 5 is because I've never found a drink there that I am absolutely in love with. I have tried their iced mocha, their seasonal drinks such as the honey lavender latte or brown sugar vanilla latte with blueberry cold foam or a good ole iced vanilla latte and none have "Wowed" me. None have led me to think about how good it was and want me to come back. Not that they aren't good, they are but just not my favorites I've had. This is my favorite location that I have visited so far! Parking is not bad but you do have to pay the meter except on Sundays. Very spacious with lots of seating options. The barista was nice and patient with me when I couldn't decide what I wanted. I ended up getting the golden root latte hot and the barista recommended me to add some chai to it. Cute coffee shop! In a great area of downtown with plenty of parking. The inside is huge! They have plenty of seating for one person or large parties. The baked goods have a nice selection of sweets and gluten free options. They also sell coffee beans, cups, candles, and other cute items. The menu is hugely displayed behind the counter. I came to this spot last winter and remember it being so good that when I flew back to Omaha I made a point to come here. I'm always on the lookout for new coffee flavor profiles and this spot always has awesome latte recipes. The first one I ever got was a sweet corn latte- I've never had corn milk before but it reminded me of my favorite cereal in a coffee drink. This time I tried the tahini mocha on their spring menu and it was so good I had it 2 days in a row. This original Hardy Coffee location is beautiful, with concrete floors, lots of wood features, and gorgeous touches in their brand colors of black, white, and yellow. Their coffee was just as impressive! I have had the affogato, iced cinnamon roll latte (with a purple ube topping), and the hot and iced versions of the caramel latte.-The affogato was rich and tasty, with a little dollop of ice cream and espresso poured over it. -The cinnamon roll latte was was bomb! It was only available on the Spring menu, but I had it so many times, I'm good with it being gone for a while but I also hope it comes back soon and isn't gone forever. -The caramel latte was a 10/10 (both in it's hot form and iced). Their flavored lattes are more coffee-forward than the big box chain locations around town, but no complaints from me. I like to taste my coffee too, even if it has a little sweet flavor in it! There is a ton of seating and working space in this Downtown location of Hardy. So if you work in the area and want a nice/pretty quiet working spot for the day, with amazing coffee to keep you caffeinated, definitely drop by this Hardy spot. read more

If we had it heated I imagine they been even better and we will definitely try it the next time we go, but we highly recommend it's a perfect small snack for a breakfast date. Cinnamon roll coffee: one of their seasonal flavors is a cinnamon roll iced coffee, which is absolutely delicious. This is a nice coffee shop; spacious, clean, and quiet; it's a great place to meet up with friends or colleagues. They have an extensive regular menu and always have some fun seasonal concoctions as well. There is a case full of tasty items, but what I really like to get to eat here is the breakfast burrito - I mean, I love a good cinnamon roll, but it's nice to have something that's not just SWEET. The burrito is toasted, it's satisfying, I can put away my stubbornness about generally wanting to eat Mexican-style food only at Mexican restaurants on hold for this. This place is open early and stays open fairly late. It does get a little busy sometimes but staff will get everything taken care of, They do have a membership program you can join. At $75 a year, I am not sure I would come out ahead on it. I'm sure I would if I drank coffee more frequently. There is a nice patio with tables. People bring their dogs, it is nice. My only complaint is specifically about the patio; since it is a nice place for dogs, they do urinate around the planters. I wish some attention would be given to wash this area down. Out of a variety of coffee shops in downtown Omaha, we found our way to Hardy. Cool location for those who like the refurbished Industrial-Chic vibe. Decor is nice and clean. As a new Old Market resident, I am on the hunt to find my go-to coffee shop. I would say Hardy will definitely be a contender! I'm super picky about my cold brew, and I thought the cold brew here was delicious. It's super smooth and not acidic at all. I also got a breakfast burrito, which was a bargain for $4.50. We were staying in the Old Market and on our way out of town, we went here to fuel up with some coffee. We got some cold brews to go. The coffee was pretty good, solid stuff. It definitely gave me the jolt to keep me going on the highway. The space is nice too - it is in one of the older, refurbished buildings and has a lot of light. The downtown Hardy location was the first I'd visited under their further name, Aromas. Recently, they've taken advantage of COVID closures and pace to remodel this space. It has a whole new, modern feel that better reflects the brand they've become. The quintessential Hardy yellow-gold lines the walls in various painted graphics around the cafe. They have a great (shaded) patio if you're looking to get some fresh air, and plenty of space with varied seating throughout the building if you need a place to hunker down with your laptop or journals. They have a great selection of retail right as you walk in, ranging from cocktail jars (dried fixins), their own curated and roasted beans, local chocolates, fun cards, Hardy gear and take home items like my favorite almond espresso oat balls, house made syrups, chai concentrate, cold brew and more! They are well known for their excellence in both the crafts of coffee and baked goods. This is certainly a coffeeshop you'll want to spend some time in. Added bonus: if you do find that you need to stretch your legs, there is a pop-up garden only a couple of blocks away and the whole Old market at your hands one block north. read more

I wanted to try a new coffee shop so my daughter, niece, and I went to Hardy Coffee a couple weekends ago. This place was packed, which is a great sign. I ordered a medium pumpkin spice iced latte and a couple kids hot chocolate's. My iced latte was $6 and the two super tiny kids hot chocolate were almost $4 a piece. Crazy expensive. Even for the area. It took a bit to get the drinks, about 15 minutes, which is kind of a long time for a coffee and a couple hot chocolates. The drinks were good but I still can't get past the cost. When my work team and I decided to abandon the office to work off-site, I was told to come to Hardy Coffee. This location is easy to find, and there's plenty of street parking available outside (it is metered). I'm new to the area so it was nice that the parking is immediately in front of the building, and it wasn't difficult to find with Google Maps. I had a matcha latte and enjoyed the location's free WiFi. We were here for several hours, and were never made to feel like we were overstaying our welcome. They remained consistently busy for a Friday morning, but the volume remained relatively low (away from our table). My matcha was delicious, and my coworkers seemed to enjoy their coffee, too. I have been coming here for YEARS for my coffee: both beans and brews! As a former barista, I am extremely picky about my coffee. When I moved to Omaha I searched all over the metro for the best local coffee roasters. After weeks of searching, I FINALLY found myself here. My roommate and I bought a sample of their beans, brewed it at home, and we both looked at each other, wide-eyed and exclaimed, "holy...". I don't know what sorcery their coffee roasters use, but I can tell you one thing: it's working. In addition to their beans, they also serve some phenomenal drinks. My favorite part is that their specialty drinks change with the seasons. This fall, I fell in love with their maple cardamom latte. They also have other coffee drinks, espressos, teas, non-coffee options, and alternative milks (breve, almond, soy, and oat). Added bonus: a bakery right in the back!
