Yo Yo Berri is just down the road from our house and has become our main stop for frozen yogurt. It has your standard yogurt by the ounce with all the toppings that one might desire. My wife I think gets more brownies in her cup the yogurt but she loves them! They also have a nice selection of shakes, crepes, waffles, and shaved ice. It's quite a variety of sweet treats. They also recently started serving tacos, which I have yet to try but they look great. What we like most about the place is that the employees are always super friendly, the toppings are constantly filled and re-stocked, and the place itself is always very clean. We stopped in recently on a night then the owners were on vacation and thought maybe without the boss in town, the employees would let it slip on cleanliness. Nope. It was spotless. We are always impressed. There isn't a ton of seating so if you go on a busy evening, you might struggle to find a spot but it's rarely been that way when we've gone. Overall, I cannot say anything 'bad' about Yo Yo Berri. It provides just what we need when the cravings hit. We'll definitely keep going back. read more

I remember when this place first opened and how fresh and fun it was. Last night (08.02.25), six of us decided to get some frozen yogurt and this was the overwhelming choice. Yogurt dispensers were empty or not labeled. The choices really haven't changed in years, when they used to change almost monthly; part of what drew you back in in the beginning. Toppings have gone to mostly candies and fresh fruit has pretty much disappeared. Most shocking is the price. They no longer tell you the price per ounce (or I couldn't find it) but even a small dish will cost you $10. For the six of us (and no one got anything outrageous) the total was nearly $70! Also $12 a person. Love that they ask for tips when they do nothing but ring you up. I don't know the last time a TV was working, but they still take up space. AC didn't seem to be working. I guess you CAN mess up shaved ice. I ordered the root beer float shaved ice but requested no frozen yogurt. I simply said "root beer flavoring with a drizzle of condensed milk on top." First of all, I ordered three shaved ices and it took almost 15 minutes to get them all. That's light years in the eyes of two five year olds. It was clear the employees didn't know what they were doing. One of them struggled with the ice machine and even after the other girl helped her make the shaved ices, all of them came out with chunky ice. Think cheap snow cone ice, not shaved ice- the kind thats super hard to crunch. Anyway, we went with some friends of ours who had their own separate order, which was messed up. They completely forgot my friend's shaved ice. Fast forward to the actual product and it was not good. I don't know if their syrup was old but it didn't taste like anything but flat soda syrup that had been sitting out a few days. Root beer has a distinct and rather strong flavor so I was surprised it tasted like nothing but sugar. They didn't just drizzle the condensed milk, they poured it throughout. I ended up throwing the entire thing away after two bites (and yes, I dug to the bottom thinking the flavor was down there). My son couldn't crunch the ice because it was so chunky and ended up throwing his away as well. I tried my daughter's, and while she seemed to like it, I thought the flavors were ridiculously sweet and artificial. I've had some really good shaved ice before and this is not it. I will say, the employees were very friendly and apologetic and one of them refunded my money, and for that I gave them another star. All in all, the employees weren't the issue. This is the only fro-yo place near our new house so we decided to try it for dessert on a Sunday night. The decorations inside are bright. Really bright. The employees are your typical high school students, but they were very polite and patient. I decided to go with the pomegranate sorbet and the creme brûlée fro-yo and topped it with a frosted animal cracker and a couple snickers pieces. My and my husband's cups were a little over $8 total, which was fairly reasonable and in-line with comparable fro-yo places. The flavor is creamier than other fro-yo places, but was overall good. The pomegranate sorbet had a great intense flavor. The creme brûlée was very rich and good. It is comparable to all of the other fro-yo places in Omaha, but overall is not anything amazing. I loved their Mother's Day promo where moms got a free yogurt since I am a single mom with small kids. My boys "bought" my yogurt that day. I love this place. I just read a review over split yogurt. I assumed it was a different store, but it appears it's this place. I've always had the most wonderful people working there. It's not cheap but it's the only non-dairy option in this state of cows it seams. Just remember it's by the ounce and it adds up fast. But who cares, not like you eat this everyday right. read more

My family of 4 and I visit this place 3-4 times a month and spend on average $20-$30 per visit. After what we experienced tonight we will not be going back. I was approached by a teen employee and blamed for filling a cup full with ice cream and setting it down and getting another one (complete lie) she did make me pay for it before I left. A serve yourself frozen yogurt place with multiple flavors and pay by the ounce prices. We are fans of Red Mango, so were excited to try this place as well. The pros: Flavors are excellent, rich and creamy with out a lot of that tang that can come with some frozen yogurts. The topping offerings were good, lots of flavors of syrup, candies and fruits. Of special note, the candy offerings were large chunks of brand name candy bars which is a nice touch. The decor is fun and bright, clean and mostly comfortable. The seating is slightly awkward as the chairs are of the modern "artsy and edgy" style, but it works as you aren't likely to spend as much time as you would if you were getting a full meal. The downsides: They had no tasters, so you kind of had to commit to the flavor. With 15 or so flavors, it would be nice to have tasters to sample the flavors. Maybe they just had run out this time, but most of their competitors offer the tasters, so hopefully they will rectify this in the future. Pricing also seemed to be a bit higher than some of their peers, which maybe allows them to have the larger spread of topping options, but even with a coupon taking $2.00 off, the bill was about $5 more than our typical order at Red Mango for a similar amount of yogurt. I would visit Yo Yo Berri again and recommend trying it if you haven't! read more
