This is such a fun ice cream shop with a little something for everyone! Ice cream, malts, fudge, cotton candy, dole whip... they have it all! The ice cream also comes scooped in fun square shapes, and they have lots of flavors to choose from! When we went we shared an ice cream flight that came with 2 scoops of 4 flavors (8 scoops total). The flavors we chose were sea turtle, Superman, gold rush, and cookie dough. All of them were delicious, but I want to try the banana pudding and play doh flavors next time. The layout of the shop is a little awkward, and the area where you order is a little small - and there was a sign on the door asking each party to wait outside until a scooper waves you in. Both restrooms were out of order when we were there, but there were some video games for my kids to play while I chatted and finished my ice cream. Overall we had a great time and it's one of my kids favorite ice cream spots in town so we will definitely be back! read more

Went in yesterday because my daughter said it was good and that there was a lady who worked there that was nice. We walked in and first thing we saw was a grungy looking guy behind the counter, he was eating and was looking down at a book. My daughter said "hi" as we walked in and he didn't look up or respond in any way. We walked down to look at the flavors and some other guy came over. He didn't say anything, just stood there, we gave our order, he got it for us, I paid, and as we left, I think I might have heard him say "thanks." Very awkward and strange experience. Grungy guy needs to find a new job, where he won't weird-out the customers. Won't be going back. read more

This place is amazing. Kids loved the place. Will be back again and again. So many different flavors of ice cream. You can not go wrong. And square ice cream. I have never seen that before and loved the idea. The lady running the counter was very professional and very friendly. First time here. Place looks rundown. Wobbly tables and the retro look was out of a garage sale. I gotta admit I didn't think the ice cream flavors were anything that justified spending that much money. I had had better more flavorful items from a grocery store. Photos on Yelp are outdated compared to what I saw today. The lone Pac-Man machine in the back area. But the real turn off was when I had pulled a hair stuck between the two scoops in my dish. This small ice cream place has loads of Michigan made flavors to choose from. The vintage vibes in here are super great. Our service was great, plenty of samples had to be able to make our decision and she was happy to oblige. Will absolutely be back! read more

Having recently tried 402 creamery I thought it a good idea to try another local ice cream joint. I'm giving this four stars also. A lot more flavors and a little less money. The scoops are shaped like squares, and that's weird to me, but I was able to quickly shape them into spheres. There was nothing quaint or charming about this place. They had lots of Star Wars posters, and it is right next to a bar. Not an ideal location for an ice cream shop. However the ice cream was very tasty. I wouldn't drive out of my way for this place but if I'm in the neighborhood I'm all in. read more

The lady working late opened the store back up to serve us because, although she said they closed at 9 PM, the sign said that their hours were until 10:00 PM. She didn't have to open the store back up for us, but she did, so that was great customer service. And the ice cream was very good too. read more

The ice cream is so yummy and their edible cookie dough was so delicious. My son got the root beer float and loved it. My other son loved his ice cream. Such a neat concept to have the ice cream scoops in the shape of squares. They followed safety procedures and everyone was wearing a mask that entered their shop. I have gone to Scoops 2 times so far. Both times I have a great experience. The reason I hesitated giving Scoops a 5 star reveiw is because the employees last time I went weren't very nice. They weren't particularly mean they just seemed like they were not happy at all. Though the day I went was very very very very busy. So they could've just been to tired to smile. Which I get sometimes. Overall, I would totally recommend Scoops if your looking for unique and delicious ice cream. read more

Lots of ice cream flavors, both traditional and wild. You can also get Dole Whip (pineapple, lemon, lime, orange, and a couple other flavors), shakes, malts, shaved ice with dozens of syrup flavors, and scoops of cookie dough. They were out of about 6 ice cream flavors and 2 cookie doughs when we were there, but they still had about 30 ice cream flavors and 4 cookie doughs available, so lots of variety! My kids got puppy chow ice cream (vanilla with chocolate and peanut butter with caramel swirls) and Play-Doh ice cream (hypercolored yellow vanilla with chunks of blue and red cookie dough), and I got peach. A kid cone is 3 cubes of ice cream for $2 (and they let me get a kid cone too even though I'm a child of the 80s). Very fair prices, good service, and yummy ice cream. You've got three happy new customers! read more
