For example, the bag of Patriotic Mix was $12.95 while it's usually $16.99 at Hy-Vee for the same thing. Besides the chocolates they are known for, they also had a large selection of saltwater taffy, fudge, and a ton of other candies, some I haven't seen since childhood. In addition to candy, they also sold a lot of locally made food stuffs like Rotella's bread, Mi Mama tortillas, Valentino's, Dorothy lynch, salsas, dips, jams, jerky, spaghetti sauce, you name it. They even had t-shirts, hats, and a refrigerated section for various meats. It was really cute inside and a lot of places for photo opportunities. There was a bench inside and a covered patio outside with a big parking lot. The staff were quick, efficient, and friendly. Glad I finally got to visit this place and I will be back again when my sweet tooth feels the need. :)

Both times I ordered via email, the order was either lost or never fully confirmed. The first time I followed up well in advance, but the second time was more stressful--when I arrived at 6 a.m. to pick up the cake, it wasn't there. To their credit, the staff handled it well. They quickly made a replacement cake for the next day and offered it at half price. They also gave me free rolls the day of, which was a kind gesture, though I would have preferred having the cake as originally planned. In the end, everything worked out, but my biggest suggestion is to double or even triple-check event orders to avoid any last-minute surprises. The product itself is solid and always a hit--just be sure to confirm, confirm, confirm.

They also have other cheesecake treats such as chocolate chip cheesecake sandwiches cookies, mini cheesecakes, samplers with different flavors and scoop-able cheesecake. I thought the scoop-able bins were ice cream at first. Many of the items they sell can be shipped frozen. There's also outdoor seating. This is a wonderful place to get delicious cheesecake.
