We stopped by late one night to pick up a pie we ordered because nothing else was opened. The pizza we got had mushrooms and jalapeños and it tasted very good. My girlfriend also got buffalo wings and she loved them. It was a very tasty pizza, but typical for places like this that are opened late. I wouldn't say no to it if someone put it in front of me. The inside area is for take out and delivery and nothing more. I enjoyed it though, so all love. It's a solid 6.9 Enjoy :D

I absolutely love five star pizza! They are always quick, affordable, and delicious. They always have deals going on so there's something for every price point. I only live about 15 minutes away-- I just wish they'd deliver to my home. The pepperoni rolls are my all time favorite.

We ordered late night as we got back from being out and were starving! The delivery arrived quickly and it was easy to pick up. We ordered a thin crust pizza with pepperoni and bacon. I can appreciate a good thin crust pizza but it was a little too greasy for me. Overall satiated our hunger and hit the spot.

We're stuck in the hotel while visiting family in St. Augustine area and since we were hungry, I called the front desk to ask for a local pizza place recommendation. So, they told me Five Star is great, they order from them also and delivers to the hotel, they know the drill and come up to your room. So I called them, I got nice service over the phone and ordered a large pizza with black olives and pepperoni. Delivery isn't the fastest, but they did show up and did their job OK, I know distances are a tad longer. We were happy to see the delivery guy. No frills. Pizza is good, better than expected, had 2 slices left over. For 2 people I'd get a Medium instead of Large if you don't eat a lot. Glad we tried a local pizza joint. They misspelled my name to a ridiculous degree on receipts, but that turned into a family joke, no offense taken. Good, solid pizza if you live or travel in the area. Glad they came to deliver right to our door!

It's been over a year since I ordered from five star Pizza. I felt that their quality and their taste had really gone downhill I received a $12 coupon and decided okay let's give them a try one small Hawaiian pizza 10 wings mild. The Pizza showed up with a side of blue cheese dressing. No wings. The pizza arrived at 5:43 and the things arrived at 6pm. Both warm, not hot, warm. A free large 1 topping pizza to make up for the lousy meal that you sent out in the first place. I won't be using your free coupon as I will simply be DISAPPOINTED again with what should now be named 1 star pizza. If I had not had a glass of wine i would be in my vehicle driving to your location to show you just how disgusting your food is. The pizza was not even cut all the way on ANY slice.

We just got home from 2 weeks in Cancún with delayed and re-routed flights, an overnight in Charlotte and long hours waiting around in airports. No energy for making dinner or going out so we ordered from these guys and the pizza was here in a flash! Couldn't believe how fast they delivered our well done meatball pizza with 1/2 onions and banana peppers. It was a perfect thin crust and crispy. We also ordered the hot wings (which to me weren't very hot) but still very good. It's not our first time ordering from them and we liked it before as well. I just wanted to say thanks for making coming home tired, grumpy, and hungry a little bit better. Thanks Five Stars!

I called and asked if they have the back to school special and rather than answer my question the employee on the phone had a childish attitude and kept saying that it was self-explanatory and that it was only for kids going to school and it was pretty self-explanatory what's funny is if I drove up there that same idiot would not keep the same energy and say the same thing this place is really trashy and stupid And so are the idiots that they have answering the phone

If it's 230am and everything is closed- this is your place. The pizza was basic on flavor and toppings, the staff was super friendly, but the layers of grease on the ceiling were gross.

i'm from chicago and was traveling here and this is 100% best service i've received in awhile. they are SO accommodating when it comes to dairy allergies and veganism, and even gave us another pizza for free without cheese because they were unsure of dairy contamination in the first. really great service, friendly workers, and accommodating to your needs! highly recommend :) read more

The first time I had Five Star Pizza it was ok, I'm always about giving food another try just in case it was an off day, but when I ordered a pizza for delivery the other night and it was burnt black and dried out I was extremely disappointed that a place would even allow it to go out the door. We threw the pizza away and after two try's with both times being bad experiences I'm sorry to say I will never order a pizza from Five Star again as there are too many pizza places to choose from that take greater pride in delivering a good product to have to ternate what I received from them.. I Give them A Zero Star Review!!! But it made me put one in in order to post the review. read more

While staying in Saint Augustine we ran into a pinch. We fell asleep early and missed dinner. Thankfully these guys are open till 3am and delivered us a great pie! It had tons of toppings on it, they packaged us some plates, it even came with parm and red pepper. They delivered it to our B&B and I was surprised how quick they got there. We got pizza delivered from Five Star when we flew into St. Augustine late and everyone was hungry. We picked it in a whim and were very pleasantly surprised! Fast delivery and it tasted great! Meh. Nothing special about this pizza. Crust is not great and the sauce doesn't have much flavor. I guess if you want a pizza late-night it would do the trick but otherwise no need to eat here. read more

I phoned from out of the country for delivery to a son who's birthday it was yesterday. I was overwhelmed with the awesome customer service given. The delivery was made to his office at the hospital, on time with birthday wishes on the boxes. He reported back that they were great. I called twice to order delivery. The 1st time the lady who answered was very short with me...She said she couldn't hear me even though she was talking to me amd hung up. Shout out to 5 star for being awesome! Asked them if they'd donate a lunch for a homeless youth center I work at and they provided us with 6 gift certificates for a 1 topping large pizza with no hesitation! Would love to say that he one star was for the quality of food but I was never able to order. The lady that answered the phone was rude. We were staying at a condo on vacation and wouldn't take or order without a mailing address. We told her what condo we were in and she yeah I know exactly where it but I must have a mailing address. So after five minutes trying to spend money at 5 star we get off the phone to google our address . We decided to go with romanos on the beach. The lady was so sweet the pizza was amazing. It's "Five Star",so there ya go! 5 stars for y'all! Thank u for being my neighbor AND,YES! They do wear jetpacks Whenever we order,they always say"we'll b there in about 45 minutes. Well,it's more like 4-5 minutes! Always good pie,good service,they pay attention re: requests made over the phone such as "call first" etc. Just ordered a two topping(1/2bacon y Jalapeño,green pepper y sausage) delivered.Also requested,as I usually do,to make it a bigger slice pie. I believe the xl 2 topping comes as a "12 cut".I request for it to be a "6"cut. U know........a legit NY style slice,that u fold. Then the tip of the slice folds over the front and u feel that lil oil slide from ur hand down your wrist........lol better catch it! This was my first time eating here. My parents who live in St Augustine love this pizza and took my friend & I here to try it out. We got the special they had going on of 2 large pizzas with 2 toppings - forgive me but I have no clue what the price was cause my dad paid for it. One pizza had extra cheese & onions & the other pizza had pepperoni & bacon. We also got the Pepperoni rolls. It took no time at all for them to make the pizza & rolls, maybe 13 minutes if that. You can watch them toss the dough in the air & everything thru the hugs plate glass windows, which I found really cool. Let me tell you this was the best pizza I have had in a LOOOOONG time. The bacon was really crispy - something I am not used to with the "pizza chains". The pepperoni rolls were really good with the dough a little crisp on the oustide & the inside was really soft - reminded me a of a croissant. There were 7-8 pepperoni slices inside each roll. We will definitely be going back here when we visit my mom & dad in St Augustine. read more

Delicious pizza delivered to our hotel room for just .99 cent delivery. We ordered from here twice on two different nights. On the first delivery, the man was very friendly and offered us change. The pizza was hot. Delivery man gave us lots of seasoning packets, plates and napkins. On the second delivery, the woman took our money and didn't offer change. My husband stopped her before she ran off and told her we wanted our change. She turned snotty and had to head back to her car to get the change. No seasoning packets, plates or napkins. The pizza wasn't nearly as hot as the night before. She should be fired for trying to steal from us. We don't mind giving a tip (we did for the man on the first night), but she shouldn't just expect it. read more

The delivery was done quickly. I was told 30 minutes but within 20 minutes the driver was at the hotel. Pepperoni rolls are a must with any order. They remind me of a spot I would frequent back home. Good marinara dipping sauce with a little bite to it to complete the rolls. Pizza was good quality. When I order a pie for the first time from a pizza joint, the cheese pizza tells you all you need to know about the quality. Good sauce on the pizza and the cheese was outstanding (they say they use the good stuff from Wisconsin). Crust was of the right consistency as well. Will not disappoint. Forego the regular pizza chains for this when visiting St. Augustine. read more

Five Star Pizza advertises they're better, cheaper, and faster than anyone else in town, and they very well might be right on all accounts. I generally prefer to get NY style pizza from a few local joints in town, but Five Star recently came to the rescue. On New Year's Eve, I was with my wife and some friends, stumbling home to our hotel after a night of fun, and we decided pizza was a must. Oh wait, it's 2:30 am, who's going to deliver now? Oh yes, Five Star it is! These guys are open LATE, so I gave them a ring, placed the order, and 20 minutes later, the delivery guy rolled up with two hot, fresh, delicious pizzas. These pizzas were good- crust was tasty, good sauce, and loaded with cheese and toppings. It even passed the morning after test, when you're still drunk and needing food- cold pizza can be the best food or worst food ever. Five Star pizza held up, for sure. I'm not sure I would order their pizza all the time, but when it's late and you need pizza, these guys will be there to deliver. Also recommended if you're hosting a party and need a lot of pies- you definitely get your money's worth at Five Star. I really enjoyed my pizza from this place, and the next time I'm drunk and ready to chow down on some hot pizza pies- I will give five star a ring. read more

WOW! 5 Star Pizza; you are amazing!!! We've decided that you should rename your slices "Ninja Turtle Pizza Slices" because they reminded us of the comfort food we witnessed on on of our favorite cartoons! Ordered half and half. Cheese and Philly Cheese steak with a side order of wings of the hot spice. We wanted NY style thin, so we ordered it well done so it wouldn't be flimsy. Same for the baked wings, well done for better texture. For delivery/take out, I would rank it better than most main stream highly advertised delivery pizza places! Definitely, on the list for pizza night! read more

The food was very good; however the customer service reminded me of a bad New Jersey truck stop. I placed my order from a nearby hotel room; the girl who placed my order could not identify the hotel from the name and proceeded to get annoyed when she had to wait 30 seconds for the actual address. She asked what type of dressing we wanted (which was not delivered, the delivery person said it costs 50 cents for that)........ the pizza was delivered with no napkins, no plates and no dressing. Seriously.... I hope FL is not an extension of NJ. read more

We ordered a pizza delivery to our hotel. It was fast and hot. The pizza was great. I ordered a side of garlic butter dipping sauce and ate at least half of the sauce. Last night I woke up with severe stomach cramps, diarrhea, and fever, and had it for the rest of the night. I feel bad this morning as well and will be calling management. My wife who did not eat the garlic butter sauce was just fine. Fluke maybe? I don't know... But my bowels are hating them. ** Just spoke with management and they are providing me a meal at no charge. He was very apologetic and I was satisfied with his solution... But no garlic butter for me. :-) read more

The Chryssaidis family, owns the Athena Restaurant also, but it's in the city center, and it always tough to find parking. The diner is away from the hubbub. It won't disappoint.

Going downhill. They are still the best pizza delivery in town: quality, quantity and speed. They should have stuck to pizza. They recently introduced wings to their menu. A little pricy, but I've ordered them several times. The consistency is improving as far as size and cooking times go. I've always ordered mine plain with the hot sauce on the side. HOWEVER, the last time I ordered, the cost had increased slightly over $1. It turned out that they were charging 50 cents for each side, and I was getting 2 10-wing orders. Spoke to a "manager" , since this had never happened before; he didn't charge me for the sauces "this time". but would check to confirm the policy. I called back a few days later to check on the issue, and was told by a different "manager" that that was indeed the policy. If they poured the sauce on the wings, there would be no charge, but putting it in a SMALL plastic cup was 50 cents. Why? It was their policy. I could understand if it was extra sauce, but it wasn't. I asked which cost them more, the little cup of sauce or the container of Ken's blue cheese dressing (which comes with it at NO extra charge). He acknowledged it was the blue cheese, which I don't usually even get. He wanted to sell me some wings, but on his terms; he'd comp it, he'd give me special treatment, he'd substitute the sauce for the dressing. He was "winging" it as he went.:) The policy is simply wrong-headed. When you're charging almost $1 per wing, don't nickel-and-dime the customers over the sauce. Bottom line: If you must order out a pizza, do call them. If you want hot wings, call a Publix deli and pick up the order at half the price. read more

This was the first time we have ordered in a while. I placed the order online, and drove in to pick up. When I walked in they were very busy and still greeted me as I came in. My order was ready and they offered me plates. As I was leaving one of the staff ran to open the door and also helped with my car door.
