We recently tried out Antonio's Pizza at the beach in St. Augustine. We had the goal of finding pizza on the beach right near the St. Augustine Amphitheater and this worked out perfectly. My only wish was that this was a bit of a sit-down restaurant but we ended up hanging out on the beach for about 15, 20 minutes. We were able to pick up the pizza and then find a local bench to sit at while overlooking the ocean and the waves, which is beautiful. In general there was quite a bit of variety in the pizzas to choose from. We were happy that the pizza tasted good, was neatly made, and had quite a generous amount of cheese. If you are ever at the St. Augustine Amphitheater around there, try out Antonio's Pizza at the beach read more

The pizza was amazing. It was ready when I walked in and the whole family loved it. I would recommend it to everyone!

We had a great experience here! First off, it's a carry out only place - or maybe I should say, there's no option to dine in. We weren't clear on that until we walked in and saw the "No eating in lobby sign". It was fine with us, we just took it back to our hotel room next door. There seemed to be only one employee working but he was fast. We only waited 17 minutes from placing our walk in order to receiving it and 2 others came in to pick up what they had ordered prior to us. To me, he was fast & efficient. We ordered a large Meat Deluxe and it was SO good. Light on sauce, which is exactly how we like it and large slices. We both agreed it was really good and we'd definitely go back. read more

This little hole in the wall has one of the best Italian subs that I've had in a long time; the bread is nice and fresh, the meat sliced to perfection and topped off with tasty Italian dressing. The Greek salad is the star of the show for me.. a very generous amount of all the veggies and feta cheese. read more

I have been meaning to go up here and do a review. We went to St. Augustine for our Anniversary and this by far was the best pizza we have ever had. We were in the area for a week, and we could not help but eat here 3 times for lunch. We thought it was going to be a quick stop from the beach on the way back to our place, but yummm!!! read more

It was good pizza and that is far as I would take it. This a take out only operation from what we could see. Many multiple options for pizza and sandwiches. Limited selections on Soda and drinks. We ordered the medium meats deluxe pizza plenty of slices I would say about 8. Nothing much to say about this place. Service was good only one person working tonight so it takes some time. Sorry but this would not be equal to New York Pizza got a long way to go for sure. I am from the Bronx and this did not remind me of any pizza I have eaten in The Bronx read more

When working in the area, I've stopped by Antonio's several times and never had a bad time. The pizza is pretty solid, but this time I went calzone. Again, pretty darn good! The service is as quick as can be. Small little spot, not place to eat inside but it's clean. Time to come down in pricing though... sell more at a lower cost, especially the 16.9oz soda. $3.00 is nuts. $3.00 is even nuts for a 2-ltr. Volume sales is greater than trying to price higher. read more

Mediocre pizza in a good location. It's not terrible and for the price per slice it's a good bargain but I wouldn't buy a whole pie here. Get slices when the pie is fresh that's when their pizza is the best. Otherwise go to bronx house it's better read more

Great family owned business. They had the son ringing up orders. Very friendly and he will run the place one day!!! Great food too!

We literally live across the street from this place Had pizza 3-4 times over 8 years. It's the worst. Go get a frozen grocery store pizza instead, or another pizza place. read more

I visit this area every year. As a true New Yorker, I was reluctant to try this pizza claiming to be real NY pizza. On you way out of town I brought a slice, again anticipating the disappointment. FREAK !!! This pizza was so good and true NY style. Crispy crust, delicious sauce and just enough cheese. My only regret was that I only brought one slice and I was already down the road when I ate it. I had to leave a review because it was that good. I will see you again soon Antonio's. read more

Great place for a quick bite after beach time. Ice cream shop next door as well to eat while you wait.

Picked up a hot chicken sub--meat, veg and roll were perfection! They know how to put a sandwich together! Delicious, fair prices

BEWARE Wait time originally was 45 mins, after 1.5 hours told they were over booked. Seems like a very small place with not much capacity for high number of orders. read more

Tried several years ago and it was very good and I believe the original owners. Now that we live here, we thought to try again and not so good. Pizza and Italian hoagie were a bit bland. I asked for little more sauce on puzza and hoagie and they ended being like they should be except they charged more. Of all the pizza places we've been they never charged extra which would've been fine if the product was better here. It's doubtful we'll go back read more

The pizza was good. The people were polite and professional. The price was reasonable. It's all good read more

The family was craving sub sandwiches so we ordered from Antonio's. I was a little wary because of a past negative review, but our sandwiches were great! We ordered over the phone and 15 minutes later walked in and picked up our bag. Bread is fresh, light and fluffy and they were packed with all our favorites. read more

Avoid this "sandwich shop" at all costs. They serve an absolutely pathetic attempt of a sandwich at a hefty price. As noted in the photo, they plop one piece of an unknown "meat" that they allege is ham, some form of cheese, and lettuce and an unripe tomato on a roll. Then, for some ungodly reason, they heat the "sandwich" and wrap it in aluminum foil. Subway makes a better sandwich. read more

Way overpriced for ok pizza. Slow service, guy working acted like I was inconveniencing him when I asked why my medium pizza was $20 , he said I had an old menu read more

Delicious pizza! We're staying at the embassy suites and the lunch food is mediocre. Anthony's pizza was such a yummy treat! Sausage and pepperoni hit the spot! read more

We called & ordered a plain cheese pizza to pick up last night. It was ok but next time I'd chose a different place. The sauce didn't have much flavor & cheese was skimpy. Crust was ok but overall we were underwhelmed. It would have been nice if they included little packs/containers of parm & red pepper flakes & oregano for us to sprinkle on the pizza but nope. read more

Antonio's Pizza at the Beach - a pizza in a box - Pizza Near Me - Saint Augustine, Florida

The worst pizza I have bought in my life. Flat dry tasteless and dead cold. Don't know how they are still in business.

Good food and friendly staff. Food was completed in time for pickup. We had a large ordered and everything was done correctly.

I don't understand how they can call themselves New York Pizza. It was a lot like frozen pizza you get from the grocery store which sometimes isn't bad but this wasn't one of those times I don't think. They were small slices also. read more

ZERO STARS this is THE WORST pizza I've ever had in my life. Looks and taste stale, old, and over cooked. Where's the sauce? Paper thin. Jaw is sore from trying to chew the one bite I took. Basically oil and nasty cheese on stale dough. Don't waste your money & time stopping here. We threw everything out read more

I have lived here for several years And have never tried this pizza place. I'll never do it again. I asked for bacon they give me Canadian ham. The cheese is awful. There's nothing about this pizza that is appealing at all. I just wasted 50 bucks.. I called the pizza place and of course there's nothing they're going to do about it at I do not ever suggest this pizza place don't ever go there. This is the worst pizza I have ever had. I do believe read more

The pizza was thin crust which I like. The reason for 2 stars is they made my extra large pepperoni pizza half cheese. When I called they said ok sorry bring it back and we will give you a new one. Well we are all hungry and DON'T want to wait 45 minutes because of their mistake. So imagine my surprise when the girl got pissy with me because I was frustrated. Rude staff members make for poor ratings. read more

The recent ownership has ruined the reputation of this wonderful pizza shop. Before COVID this pizza New York style was phenomenal. My two today are beyond awful... Hardly any dried out cheese, tasteless, The dough is like thin rubber the pepperoni toppings were dried out like they were sitting in a tray all day long. This is one of the worst pizzas I've ever had. avoid this business at all cost. Their white pizza was just as bad as their pepperoni both of them horrible the crust was not crispy. I called up and the manager claimed his pizzas are fine nothing wrong with them New York style.. Avoid avoid take out !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! read more

It's hard to make bad pizza ... but Antonio's has figured out how. It's floppy and droopy and the veggie supreme lacked the advertised mushrooms and green peppers. Yuck. read more

Pizza was acceptable. Place was closeby preferred other ones but they are closed on Mondays. We got an 18 inch pizza for 21+ with tax. New york style with mimimal chees and pepperoni. Next to Ritas ice cones read more

Certainly not world famous. This has been the worst pizza I've ever eaten in Florida. It looks like a cool place from the outside, but once you go inside you realize there is absolutely no service, you can't eat there, they have limited supplies, and a piece of just plain stinks. The small side salad I had was OK but certainly not worth six dollars. I live in this area, and I can say with certainty this is a tourist trap read more

Pizza was great, went back a second time and got large pepperoni pizza. Highly recommend. Ordered and picked up in 20 min.

Friendly service! Good pizza! Easy pick up because of spacious parking lot. Great when you need a night off kitchen duty:)

I was at st augustine beach staying for almost a week for vacay and this pizza place is literally a 2 min walk from the hotel i was staying at and the pizza was chef kiss they also give out individual slices if you ever want to just buy one or two instead of a whole box. I got a small when i went and it's six slices i ate four...oops and my brother ate the last time and he had already eaten two other slices before that. I would definitely recommend !! read more

We ordered two pizzas and chicken parmesan; the food was mediocre, not great at all. When prompted to tip at checkout, the pre-generated tip amounts weren't accurate. So, the 20% suggested amount was actually 30%. This is dishonest and enough of a reason for us not to return. read more

The pizza at Antonio's is great, but that's about it. The chicken sandwiches and entrees we ordered were made with spongey type chicken and inedible. We will stick to just pizza at this restaurant in the future. read more

This is a decent little place to grab a quick bite near the beach. Had an Italian sub that was nicely toasted and fairly well-made but nothing exceptional. The sandwich and a bottle of pop set me back $20 but that's probably par for the course in this area. read more

The pizza is good and the price point is also good but my god why are the employees SO MEAN??? We just left a few moments ago. The woman working looked like serving us (we just needed two slices of pizza) was physically painful for her. They only had two slices left so they asked if I wanted them to bake another pizza for our third slice. The man seemed happy to do so but I didn't want to wait 15 min so we just went with the two they had. She keeps asking me what kind I wanted. And of course I asked what the existing slices were - the guy finally said that they were all cheese and they just add the toppings. The woman acted like I was an idiot for not knowing how it worked. Then my son (11) saw a jar for charity on the counter and asked me for a dollar. I happily obliged. But he wanted to know what charity it was. So he asked the woman who looked at him flat out and said. FOR CHARITY. He asked, "yes but what kind of charity?" She said "CHARITY!!" So I finally stepped in and I said yes. We see that but he just wants to know if it's for like- animals, or heart disease etc... she rolled her eyes and asked another man who said it was for a boys home. We put in our dollar and left as soon as we got our food. In this climate? Dont be a rude ass to your customers. Will not be back. read more
