My soda from the fountain machine was totally flat, almost like there was no soda water at all, I couldn't drink it and had to change to iced tea. Pizza. This is not just a Pizza establishment for me, this is a place of memories. We are regulars to this restaurant even though we live a 2 hour drive away. It's worth every minute. After you have your first bite of those garlicky, buttery rolls you're hooked. They have Many different combinations of pizzas to choose from. We chose the classic cheese, which is a must order. Also the chicken parmigiana and supreme. All were delicious but the cheese is the best in my families opinion. The workers are very friendly and helpful. They take such great care of you if you are inside or outside of the restaurant. They have live music some nights and it's such a nice touch to the beautiful views of st Augustine. My friend and I had Sandwiches. I had a club, she had ham and cheese. Each had one slice of thinly sliced meat and one slice of thinly cut cheese. Mine had a piece of bacon that was paper thin. I'd never seen bacon cut so thin. At $13 or so for a 6 inch sandwich, I'd expect a little meat. You order and pay at the register. The one star is for the skeletons outside Oh. Tony and I arrived in St Augustine Florida and found our hotel Villa Victor and parked. I asked the desk clerk the best pizza in the area and she directed me to Borrillo's just up the street. We walked about 4 blocks north of our hotel and found it quite easily. We went inside and ordered One piece of Pizza each, Tony got the Pepperoni Slice and I got the Supreme Slice. Not really realizing it was New York Style foldable slices of Pizza. The slices were huge!! So glad we didn't order two slices each!! Tony got Budweiser in a bottle and I got Unsweetened Iced Tea with Lemon. The pizza was very good!! The sauce was very good!! Definitely would go back again!! The half spinach and feta was super tasty. In fact it tasted like a really good cannelloni dish! Soo good!! The half vegetarian was average at best. The pizzas are way smaller - and the prices online are way WRONG. new owners charging $29.50 for ONE Pizza. I paid $62 for two fountain drinks and two large pizzas. I left and I came back because I was like there's no way this is right... the Kid Working shows me the menu prices are right for what he charged me. he asked where I saw the prices I thought I was paying - and I showed him their website and google.com!! They told me there's nothing they can do about it and sorry. They didnt even make me a free pizza or give me a refund to honor the prices that are listed -- here's the thing, I never would've ever ordered from there. Even with the changes in ownership, the quality never suffered, but it appears that is no longer the case. Today at lunch I was given a 14 inch pizza when I paid for an 18 inch. Chicken Parmigiana Pizza had a few chunks of overcooked breaded chicken. When asked if ownership changed, I was informed that it did last month. Note to New owners: you can reduce wait times by 10-15 minutes if you take the pizzas out of the oven when done. Staff also seemed extremely overworked and frazzled. Walked by and they had some live music in their outdoor area so we stopped in for a drink and ended up staying for dinner. It was nicevdining outside until the rains came, but there were umbrellas at the tables and we kept pretty dry. We started off with a large Antipasto Salad to share. It was decent, pretty average. We had asked them not to put onions on it, but it came with onions anyway. We then ordered one of their brick oven pizzas. They pizzas are pretty expensive yet considering the area it wasn't too bad. We did ask for no black olives on their supreme pizza, but it was served with black olives anyway. Overall the pizza was very good. They were short staffed and service was slow. One of the things I definitely didn't like is that everything was served on or in cheap containers. For example, it would have been nice to have an actual plate for my pizza slice instead of a thin paper plate. read more
