I checked the great yelp reviews and tried to for lunch. What a dump!!! We sat at at table inside and the AC was leaking on my head. All the ceiling vents had tremendous water damage. We mentioned to the server/cook who said "oh yeah the humidity". (No, leaks.) Looking around the place it was dirty and unkempt. The slice was left over from the night before and was served with extra cheese to disguise it. Went outside to eat and lots of mold and mildew everywhere. Cannot recommend read more

Pepperoni pizza was not very good. I like some grease on my pizza but this was so bad that it made the crust in the middle soggy. The wings were cooked way too long making them taste strange. Would definitely not order from here again. read more

Stumbled upon this joint prior to a boat tour in St. Augustine. They had a pretty good sized menu with tons of different options from pizza, subs, wraps, salads, and appetizers. It was hard to decide what I wanted! I got the chicken caesar wrap and it was so delicious. I added a side of buffalo sauce for some spice as well. The hot italian sub was tasty too. For $22, one 10" pizza with one topping only (no two half toppings ), side salad, Gatorade, and a water. Each table could use a salt/pepper shaker, granulated garlic, and oregano. Red pepper is included on the side. The order was to sit in, but the young blonde gave the order to go. They forgot my salad dressing and only did half mushrooms. The cook did sautéed more mushrooms for me. There are only three tables with 10 chairs. Pizza is good. Value is sufficient. I don't understand why, in Florida, pizza joints put mozzarella in a side salad. I ordered a cheese pizza! I don't need more cheese to bike off my meal. Listen to me, pizza joints, put cucumber in your salad instead of mozzarella. read more

Pizza was bad to mid. With the order of their version of a supreme and we got the white pizza. The first thing I noticed was the lack of smell. As in no smell to very little. And we all know that pizza smell! Next was the pizza. The supreme was mid and the white was bad. Seating is very little inside. Not knowing, this was a more of a take out, delivery style store. Outside seating was with very little picnic tables. With our party of 3, apon sitting down at one my wife and I sat down on one side. She was sitting when I went to sit down and the table flew back sending my wife and I to the ground! So, back inside we go. The guy at the counter noticed us coming back inside. He inquired as to why? We told him what happened. And it was more like a matter of fact -vs- a customer just busted thier ass on your property! Decent pizza a little over cooked but good flavor had the supreme and a half pep half sausage pep and saus was borderline burnt but I'm ok with that on pizza except it made the crust kinda dry. We are locals and went in to get some pizza with the kids as usual. The one gentlemen who's started helping us was very pleasant. We were going to order a couple large pies one of the pies being half pepperoni half extra cheese. The 2d dude came and rung up double toppings tried to charge us for full toppings instead of half. Meaning $3.10 for half extra cheese and $3.10 for half pepperoni. When I brought it to his attention he said he can't override the system and that's the way it was and there was cameras everywhere like he's gonna get in trouble for doing things the way they are suppose to be done and not charge double toppings. I'm a pizza head and no place ever charges you double toppings for half and half. He was very condescending and clearly did not want to make the pizza as it was 45 min to closing time. We have been going to Vinny's for a long time and never have been treated this way. Completely unacceptable and they just lost a loyal customer. We can afford the 3$ for the topping but that's not the point. The guys was just very rude so we decided to take our business elsewhere. Not my first choice but Marcos pizza it is. We will never order from Vinny's again just because of the way we were treated. The First Gentleman was very pleasant. The short little dude with the bandana was a jerk. 7/12/22 -9:15pm After going to several places that were closed or horrible, we stopped at Vinny'a to see if we could get a pizza to go. Vinny said he would be glad to makes us a pie while he was closing up. We got a gigantic NY thin crust pepperoni pizza and some very tasty garlic knots. The pizza sauce is so good - robust with spices and flavor. The garlic knots were loaded with garlic with a nice crust and soft in the middle. Mt son said Vinny was super nice and friendly too! Wish we found this place at the beginning of our vacation. That was great pizza! read more

They were OK. We went in for a quick bite before a boat ride, but my wife made the mistake of asking for the restroom before ordering. "Restrooms are for customers only." Looked like the manager or owner giving her a hard time. So we ordered first. Good thing, since it took so long to make a really bare-bones sub that we were at risk of missing the boat. Not sure how they stay in business with that sort of attitude as someone is coming through the door. We don't look like vagrants. But, it's not unusual to see this at marinas. Maybe there are more "difficult customers" in these sorts of places. But still turns me off. read more

After our instacart order never arrived we needed food. My husband called Vinny's and placed an order with a very pleasant girl on the phone. I only heard his side of the conversation, but his questions were answered and we ordered pizza, wings and cheesecake. I heard the delivery time was to be about 45 minutes, but I think it came in about 30, for a Saturday night, that was great! The pizza was delicious and the wings were done perfectly. We had garlic Parmesan and compared with some of the best we've had. We didn't eat the cheesecake till late, but it did not disappoint either. I heard about Vinney's Pizza from a friend. He swore it was the best pizza in St. Augustine, I have to try it! Okay, I got with the decision maker of the house, ya know, my wife, and we ordered. My wife ordered the Cheese pizza with mushrooms and Onions, as pictured. I ordered the Deluxe, as is no extras or removals. The kids wanted Garlic knots and pizza bites. The pizza's were very delicious. There's actually a pizzeria that has FLAVOR! The cheese amazing, where most pizzerias fail. The veggies and meats are awesome. The garlic knots... Oh if ever there was downfall, a chink in the armor, here it is. There's enough garlic on these bad boys to keep your virginity in tact and your blood gasses pure! Order medium pizza with sausage green peppers onions was very hot never had a pizza served like this one. Service was over the top 10 minutes upon ordering great job. While on a spontaneous day trip down the coast from Jacksonsville we came upon Vinny's Pizza. We worked up an appetite after spending hours on the beautiful beaches so pizza sounded great. It was a Sunday evening when we stopped in. The staff greeted us immediately while spinning pizza dough in the air. There is very limited seating both inside and outside so I believe the majority of their business is delivery and carryout. We started off with a salad to share and the garlic knots. The salad was typical but the garlic knots were delicious. Our pizza arrived perfectly timed and piping hot with bubbling cheese after our salads. The pizza was DELICIOUS. 2 stars for the very fresh salad and tasty ranch dressing. Also, the food came piping hot. Otherwise, everything else we ordered was pretty awful. I have eaten here before but only had the pizza previous times which, from what I can remember, was just fine. Tonight we were staying at the Camachee Inn for the night and wanted to get dinner close to our accommodations after a sunset boat ride. We ordered the chicken parm which came with an enormous order of spaghetti and marinara and the alfredo pasta with broccoli. Both dinners came with garlic bread. The pasta dishes were both overcooked and mushy and the sauces (marinara and alfredo) were tasteless. The chicken parm was very mushy, the breading on the filet was soggy and the chicken quality not up to par. 2 bites in and it was enough for us. The garlic bread was soft and not in a good way. Seemed as though the bread may have been frozen and reheated in a microwave before having a quick toast in the oven. The poor preparation came through right away for me. Being a native New Yorker and coming from a city with some of the best Italian restaurants available to me in the world, maybe I'm a harsh critic but I think I can say objectively, this food is completely subpar. With a restaurant with New York in its name, I expected better. read more
