I can no longer recommend either location. I called to order several Pizza's, and we were told they got rid of their 18" pizza's and replaced them with smaller sizes for around the same price. In addition they eliminated some of the pizzas. I asked for their website to view their menu and they gave me a website that was trying to sell systems to restaurants. We ended up driving to the restaurant to order in person. When we went in there were a few staff standing around with no customers at all (seemed especially odd on a Saturday evening). They asked if we wanted to order to go. We looked at the menu and were directed to their other location and told they offered what we were wanting. We didn't care to drive all over town just to order pizzas so called them to place an order only to find that they misled us and they had also gotten rid of the larger pizzas and some of the kinds we had wanted to order. I'm not certain if they changed owners but they certainly didn't seem to want to be bothered. read more

Just incredible. The Italian sub here is easily the best I have had since the boardwalk in jersey. We had pizza delivered at our rental this week and they said it would be approximately 90 minutes, not a problem. Definitely a problem. Pizza was over two hours late, cold as crap and the driver was an ass. We ordered dessert as well, cannolis and cheesecake, which were terrible. I ordered a pizza for delivery, without a menu I asked the price for pizza and toppings. I didn't have a menu. They delivered my pizza cold and not completely cooked. When I called manager said what I ordered was recommended to be eaten at restaurant. I asked why I was not told this when I ordered and manager said it says it on the menu, which we had already determined I did not have. I ordered a white pie from this pizzeria...it has always been our go to spot. I dont know what's changed, but the last three times we have ordered here have been disappointing and inconsistent to say the least. Significant decline in the quality of the ingredients on the pie. Spinach and sausage were not fresh, the dough is flat and tasteless Pizza oven needs cleaning to avoid the dark spots on the bottom of the pie. Looks like the dough did not rise properly. Unfortunately, we have contacted the business about these unsatisfactory points( they were quite apologetic), but there had not been a noticeable improvement.I have ordered from this pizzeria for over 6 years with consistently good pizzas. The service is good. The razor thin pizza is perfect. It's hidden in the Hurricane wings shopping center.

Food (pizza) was ok and the service was great but the restaurant itself needs work. The floor is dirty, the tables and chairs are very old snd there appears to be black mold on several of the ceiling tile, especially near the AC vents. I had to keep my eyes down while we ate because the ceiling was so gross. read more

This place is so great. I dont go out to eat Italian a whole lot but I have come here multiple times with my boyfriend because of how good it is. The prices are really good for the portions you get- we got two huge entrees that came with bread, an appetizer, and two drinks for $40 with tip im pretty sure. They also have weekly deals that are even better, I placed a carryout order and got a 20% off discount just because! The staff is also very sweet. Five stars all the way! From decor to the food! We had a sampling of pretty much anything between our party and it was all great! We moved to town this summer and have tried every local pizza place within 20 minutes of St. Augustine Beach. Romano's is the one we keep coming back to. The Grandma's Pie with added prosciutto is some of the best pizza I've had anywhere. SO much amazing garlic! The kids are big fans of the regular NY style. We ordered a Veggie Lover's Pizza and was told it would be 25 minutes. When we went to pick it up we failed to look at it until we got to the car. Upon a visual inspection we noticed what appeared to be a big lump of sausage and then noticed pepperoni. I took the pizza back in and said we got the wrong one. She said we ordered the Supreme pizza and shrugged her shoulders informing me it would be another 25 minutes. No apology, no offer of a complementery appetizer or discount. I gave her a $4 tip for this service. The pizza had very little sauce, partially cooked vegetables, and on a Italian scale of 1-10 the flavor was maybe a 5. Tried Romano's on a recent vacation and it was just "okay." We don't like a lot of cheese on our pizza and I asked if we should get light cheese, but the cashier said "no, we don't put a lot of cheese on our pizza" - nope, it was covered in cheese, so much so that some in our party could hardly eat it. The garlic knots were really good though. Not bad if you are nearby and need a quick pizza fix, but it's not the best in town. read more

Another recommendation, though we did not try the food recommended. A typical pizza joint as you enter. Three tables were visible but I think a long hall led to additional seating, though not sure. Ordered food for pickup. A small cheese pizza with extra cheese, eggplant parmigiana with penne pasta and a small greek salad. The pizza was tasty with a nice crispy crust. The greek salad was good and fresh. The eggplant, sadly was dry, burnt and tasteless. The bread offering was like a ball of dough. Staff when ordering was pleasant and upon pickup, nice and helpful. They had the extra dressing and parmigiana cheese ready. Would we return, sure, and try some different menu items. A three for now, but I think they will do better next time. read more

I placed an online delivery order for pizza. I forgot to request an item, so I called them. They kindly added it. I had also ordered one of the pizzas with specific items on each half. They called me to clarify which items we wanted on each side, all very cordially. The delivery was thirty minutes ahead of what the online order said. The nice man who delivered even had $1.25 to give back to us because of the pizza with "half" items. Of course we didn't take it, and gave him another tip additional to the original one. And the delivery fee was only an amazing $1.99! Finally, the pizzas were huge, hot, and really really good!!!!
