The pizza was very good. We got the 20" supreme and it was HUGE. The crust was perfect!

Lunch. Time. Salad and a slice of pizza. Yummy as always. Great service. - plenty of parking out front. Not very busy today. 5/5.

Late night after a tour. They are open late. We have drove by on our way downtown many times. Grabbed a booth and checked out the menu. All sounded so good! Grabbed a Half Ortolana Pizza and half Pepperoni Pizza. Really god and a good choice if you want to try their pies. Vibe was laid back and service was great.

We were in town and I wanted pizza so we stopped here, we were a little confused at first because it looks like they are sharing a building sort of with the gas station. But just go in and find the dining room and you're good. The staff was super kind and attentive. We got garlic knots to start and they were super good. My boyfriend loved the Mariana that comes with it. I also had a ceaser salad and I was slightly disappointed because there was roasted red peppers in it which it didn't say in the menu and I wasn't a big fan of them but the rest of the salad was good. My boyfriend got the Margherita Pizza and he liked it, he also got a meatball which he enjoyed as well. I got a pepperoni pizza with jalepenos and banana peppers and it was SO good. Definitely would come back here when we are in the area.

Awesome Calzone! Don't think it's inside a gas station it's next to the gas station! I went to college in Rome and I'm Italian blood and I know a good calzone and 2/3 at a time. I don't like them if they're not made by a New Yorker or in Italy. Well, I love this one turns out the owners in Italian from New York. Only $15 for the Ricotta, Great tomato sauce and three fillings I picked the pepperoni and mushroom with some extra garlic. Yeah Baby. Kyla is a great server w a spuncky personality! Plus, the cigar city beer was only four bucks a pint and it was good too.

Very popular place in St Augustine. If you love pizza, burgers, etc. this is your place. The place has an outdoor patio Located next to a Marketplace and Gas Station, it a cool space to dine in. Staff are friendly as well.

Not tons of ambiance but it gets the job done and the food makes up for it. I asked about prosecco and she said I could buy from attached gas station and drink in there. Gave me a glass and all. We ordered fried zucchini and garlic knots to start both delicious and plentiful. The mains were lasagna and a small white pizza really good flavor on both ricotta on pizza so good and everything came out super hot. Server gave good recommendations and we will def go back.

So happy I found this place. I'm from jersey. Live in California and really miss good pizza. This is the best slice I have had since the jersey shore. Almost didn't try it when Waze took us to a gas station. Located inside gas station one side is a restaurant in between is a takeout area with a few tables where we dined. Incredible antipasto as well and the meatballs were quite good. Really good Italian sub good portion but could use more authentic Italian bread Will be a regular during my stay in Florida.

Hot tasty pizza in 3 sizes with an assortment of toppings or pick one of their specialty pizzas. Nice salad too with iceberg lettuce. Service is friendly and casual. Only negative is this place is tiny with only 5 booths and 3 functioning tables. Two more tables sat empty because the girls said they didn't have any more chairs. There are some outdoor tables but when it's 30 degrees outside, inside is the only option. Small counter offers 4 seats. This is a pizzeria in a She'll gas station but totally worth the wait.

Carmelo's Deli side was the way to go tonight. Full service restaurant was full with a waiting time. What do you do? You go down the hallway and go to the deli. Their full menu is available both in the restaurant and at this counter service, so there's lots of choices. A few tables also allows you to eat there. The atmosphere is buzzing with lots of activity. It was fun watching the pizzas being made while we ate.

Have wanted to try this place for years , just always see it on the way out after eating. Nice quaint clean place, with an extensive reasonably priced menu. Great service from a very positive happy young lady, even late at night after her probably long day. Stopped for only a couple of slices and was not at all disappointed with two New York slices of the Meateater and an ice tea. About $17 with tip. Plenty of meat, good mozzarella (not that cheap corporate stuff). Good mix of meat toppings and a good hand tossed crust with no droop and a very minimal about of oil drip(considering the amount of meat). Crust had a good char and crisp not at all soggy. Great job and will be back

We're staying in St. Augustine for a few days and decided to get some pizza. After a Google search, Carmelo's came up as the best pizza place in St. Augustine, so we placed an order on Uber eats for pick up. On the app (which might not be the pizzeria's fault but they should make sure the information is accurate), it looks like you're buying a whole pie of pizza. We ordered the stuffed supreme pizza (square slice in the attached photos). It was not a whole pizza and it was definitely not stuffed with anything. It was literally a square slice of a Chicago deep dish pizza topped with marinara sauce and cheese; no stuffing to be found (again, look at the picture where we bit into it and it's just bread). When my husband picked up the pizza and realized that the exorbitant amount of money that we paid for the stuffed supreme pizza was just for a square, he decided to get additional slices of regular cheese pizza. When he asked about the slices to the woman in the front, she had a condescending attitude. The extra slices were fairly priced for the size. However, upon tasting them, they were dry and flavorless. There was no sauce in them and the cheese was barely palatable. Good thing that my husband had the foresight to order chicken wings (not pictured) and calamari in addition to the pizza. Those two things were actually pretty decent. Overall, I don't understand how this is one of the "best pizza" places in town. You're better off getting pizza at a 7-Eleven. Not only would the pizza taste better, you would get better service there as well. The only two things that were worth getting at this place were the chicken wings and the calamari.

Divine pizza no matter your choice. Meatballs are super tender and juicy. The Greek salad is delish due to the homemade dressing with feta cheese. I love that you get it by the slice if you want which results in a crispy crispy crust! This is a very busy place with limited parking but just be patient and you will get a spot.

The interior wasn't my favorite; the aesthetic didn't really read as Italian to me and leaned more modern. The tables and seating felt a bit on the cheaper side. We went on a Friday around 7:30 pm, and it was surprisingly quiet inside. Drinks: I ordered a sangria, which wasn't my favorite. It tasted on the weaker side. Food: I ordered the gnocchi. It was a bit rubbery and not as soft or potato-forward as I prefer. It reminded me more of store-bought gnocchi than homemade. That said, the portion size felt fair for the price. Location: The restaurant is located on the St. Augustine Beach barrier island, which is convenient if you're staying nearby and don't want to head into historic downtown for dinner. It was in a slightly odd spot within a business complex, with condos located above. Service: Good. Overall: It's fine for convenience, but not a place I'd suggest to someone visiting St. Augustine and looking for standout dinner spots.

Today I attended a group lunch with a total of twelve people. The restaurant is spacious and has an upscale beachy feel to it. There was a set menu so our choices were a rigatoni pasta dish with grilled chicken, broccoli and tomatoes in a creamy sauce or salmon and salad. I opted for the rigatoni dish and it was tasty. The portion size was also nice. The salmon dish ordered by half of the other members of my group also looked good and most people seemed to like it. I would definitely return for dinner some day to experience the entire menu.

The only complaint was that the dishes with vodka sauce had way too much sauce on the plate. My sister-in-law can't eat gluten any more as of last year, so she had bolognese with gluten free pasta (she said it was good but not great) but she said that is because she misses her regular pasta, so no pasta will ever be great again for her. My Niece had pasta with vodka sauce, there was way too much sauce on the plate but it was very good. My Nephew had chicken parm with vodka sauce and he loved it, again a little too much sauce on the plate though. I always get the same thing, escarole and beans with grilled chicken over pasta. This time it was a bit spicy for some reason, so I didn't love it as much as usual, but it was still very good and something you just can't find in this area. Dessert was cannolis and home made cheese cake. The owner makes the cakes here and they are all very good. Service was very attentive and good. P.S. their bread with whipped butter is excellent!

The restaurant is adorable, featuring memorabilia from the family's original restaurant and family photographs. Our server was excellent. I started by treating myself to a lovely bottle of wine. Sometimes dry rosé is a bit hard to find, but the Fuedo Disisa was excellent. While we waited for our meals to be prepared, we enjoyed a basket of soft, warm bread with herb garlic butter. It was like having dessert first! My husband ordered angel hair spaghetti with marinara sauce. He really enjoyed it. I ordered chicken Marsala. Both dishes were excellent. The Marsala sauce was so flavorful, plenty of mushrooms, and is served with your choice of pasta--I had penne. The entrees were both plentiful portions and we had enough to take home for another meal. We saved room for dessert. My husband had the chocolate cake and I had the Italian cheesecake which is made from ricotta cheese. It was creamy and delicious, and I enjoyed it with an excellent cup of coffee. Highly recommend this lovely family restaurant, a favorite of the locals in St. Augustine.

It saddens me to write this review of a restaurant with so many positive reviews, but sadly this…read morerestaurant missed on just about all of the food that we got. The service was pretty good, I can admit, however even that could've been better. We got started with our evening with a bottle of wine which was reasonably priced. The house arancini was chicken stuffed, which we were only told about after we ordered the dish. Sadly, the chicken pieces were large and there was just not enough cheese to really make this dish work - nor enough sauce. I even got a piece of bone in my arancini, which just ruined my appetite. We then had decided on the chicken parm for the main course (which later we realized was rather similar to the arancini). The first chicken parm piece that was got was rather large in size, however as we cut into the dish we noticed that half of the meat was still pink and cold to the touch. We showed our waiter, and instead of treating us with some empathy, we were told that "well its not our fault, but I've been trying to tell the guys in the back to pound the meat before cooking it." We were given another piece of chicken, and it was only slightly better than the first piece, but we ate a few bites and called it an evening. It's too bad, I'd be willing to try this place out for other dishes but I don't know if I'll choose this place again, knowing there are other options nearby. The best part of the evening was the ambiance and the wine, so maybe a happy hour in the future is in order.
