16" Pizza (half cheese half pepperoni)
    Chloe M.

We were walking around downtown St. Augustine on July 4th weekend (wouldn't recommend, super crowded haha) looking for a place to stop for dinner & drinks. We tried two other places that had 50 minute wait times then found Pizzalley. Got a few glasses of the house chardonnay and a pizza to share. It was a good experience, we were seated immediately, pizza was pretty average, lots of cheese! It was pretty greasy but our standards weren't too high. If you're looking for "fine italian dining" this isn't it, but for a cheap restaurant to get some pizza and wine this place hits the spot!

Walking around late on Valentine's Day my wife wanted a piece of Pizza . We have walked by this location but it was always full and had a line waiting. This time we found two seats at the bar and sat immediately. Fast service and delicious pizza . We split a 10" personal (3 piggy) and a Cesar salad . The house Chianti and Cabernet Sauvignon was very nice as well. When we left we wanted to see what was out the "back door" only to realize we have only seen it from the very small back door. The real restaurant is very large and even has parking in front of it.

This tequila they have is real smooth!

I come here every single time I go to St.Augustine to get a shot of their house made limoncello. We also tried this tequila for the first time and it was smooth!! Small little bar in the back. My little private bar :)

Although the staff is friendly, the food wasn't really good. The pizza tasted like school pizza and the drinks tasted like the cups weren't washed properly....like old tap water mixed with sprite. We wanted to enjoy it because it looked good and we we're craving pizza but we were highly disappointed. It was crowded but the wait time wasn't too bad. I wished the food was better.

We stopped in for a quick dinner during Nights of Lights. It wasn't a bad meal, but it was average or below average. They advertised brick oven pizza, so I was expecting a thin crust pizza. This was a bit thicker than we prefer. Our drinks were good and service was friendly. I'd choose something else next time when there are so many good options around.

Cranberry something or other :) - it was amazeballs

We snuck in here on the first night of St Auggy's Night of Lights festivities. Absolutely swamped on St George street and we thought this gem looked quiet enough. They had a small seating area in front with a nice bar, and hidden tables out back. The pizza we ordered, the Triple Pig I think it was, was Phenomenal! If you've ever watched that one pizza critic show, this was a stunning pizza that guy would have applauded. Cooked all the way through, well balanced and not soggy in the middle. Perfect hand tossed thickness, fluff, dough pliability al dente, crunchy and soft and so damned good. We had a cranberry fizzy cocktail infused with rosemary that was tops (thanks Kayla! Great concoction). We also enjoyed the homemade Minestrone that had a unique palette schooling smoky spiciness that was just bottomless in its intrigue - not your average Olive Garden or Campbells minestrone. We got a Cesar side salad that was well portioned and fresh, all perfect romaine and dark green crunchy lettuces. We were so delighted and impressed at the food quality, fast service, and comfort in this neighbor gem :)

I was in St. Augustine this afternoon for a tour and I decided to grab something to eat afterwards. One of the employees of this place was standing outside giving free tastes of the pizza here so I appreciated that and chose to order a pizza. When you first walk in there is a long bar arrangement with several hightops where you can eat. There is also a dining room on the other side of the bar. The menu has plenty of appetizers, salads, pastas, entrees and pizzas. I went with the small garbage can pizza. It came with pepperoni, sausage, onions, mushrooms, olives and peppers. The toppings were generous and the crust was crunchy. Service was pretty quick.

We have been coming to this restaurant in St Augustine Fl for more than 20 years. The food is ALWAYS delicious! Our servers are also always on pointe even tho it is VERY busy today (thank you Karen!!) Also? It's happy hour and there is a nice background guitar in the porch. Also? Outside seating is dog friendly.

Great for when you are just hangin' out in St. Augustine. We originally planned to go to Pizza Time, but surprisingly it's cash only. However, I was definitely not disappointed by this restaurant and I recommend it if you need a quick stop for pizza! Also though it may seem like only a few tables up front, there is an extra room for dining!

This place is adorable and the food was delicious! The small pizza is a perfect size for sharing if you do an appetizer as well, but you could probably also eat it as a personal pie. The flavors of everything were great and the bread/crust are cooked perfectly! The service was quick. I'd definitely recommend coming here if you're in the area!

Amazing food, service is good, super busy but we were seated promptly. If your party is bigger than 8 people, they will split you up.

Oh my goodness what an amazing place. I have nothing but great things to say about it. Great a service and great food. Small place with an Italian ambiance. A little pricey though. One app , 3 ppl all pasta mix plates, 2 teas and a coke $140. It was great but miss understanding how it got so high. Maybe next just share a large pizza .

We were walking around Old Town one day looking for a place to grab an app and drinks and a lady(hostess) was standing outside and starting talking to us about how great it was so we walked in and ordered some food and drinks. I'll say it's a little confusing because they have two parts and we walked in from the bar side. There is a back room as well and the pizza is different back there so says the bartender. She was nice and welcoming, but she didn't stop talking about how great her drinks were and tbh they weren't anything better than your local Outback. We ordered: - Potent Pickle 10" Pizza (Very good with amazing flavor combinations) - Whiskey Sour for me (It was not that good considering how much she hyped her drinks up) - Margarita for my gf(Nothing to write home about) - Intuition IPA(Very Tasty) All-in-all this is a great place. I loved the vibe of the bar area and the other part which we walked back and looked at and it was vibey too. The service was great, but if you're going to talk non-stop about how great of a bartender you are you better knock me off my barstool with your cocktails. I'll definitely come back. Enjoy :D

The cooked penne was sitting on the counter uncovered, just vibing at room temperature like it had officially given up. The sauce? Scooped from a container and reheated with all the passion of a microwave at 2 a.m. The complimentary bread arrived looking hopeful... until we realized it was a square dinner roll slathered in what tasted like imitation garlic and oil -- less Italian trattoria and more middle school cafeteria meets olive oil cosplay. The Chicken Marsala arrived undefeated in battle against any form of tenderizing. This chicken was not pounded thin -- it clearly lifts weights. I needed a steak knife, determination, and possibly a waiver to cut through it. We shared one entrée and a bottle of wine that tasted like grapes filed a formal complaint, and somehow the bill still hit $65. I checked twice to make sure we hadn't accidentally invested in the business. And just when you think the experience is complete, surprise! There's a debit card fee. Don't worry though -- the owner's son (also waiter, host, busboy, and possibly assistant regional manager) will loudly explain it from across the restaurant so the entire dining room can stay informed.

I'll start with the food. We asked for our pastas to be al dente and we were willing to wait for a fresh batch. It came out so over cooked you couldn't even put a fork in it! The quality of the food was very low budget! Not even restaurant depot low budget but more along the Walmart or Aldi kind. The bread was great. We asked for a second round on it! When we got our check we were charged for bread! Never in my life have I been charged for complimentary bread! And to not even tell us, that's the crazy part! Let's move to the desserts. When offered we were told to look in the case next to our table that was the desserts. They were clearly old. The tiramisu and cakes were dry on the top and not even covered! We passed! Now onto the service. This place is so small I don't know how you can lose your server. But we did. When the food came out we wanted cheese she was gone for at least 10 minutes! So either no cheese or cold food. Not how you eat Italian food! Not to mention she had a serious attitude problem! Tried to simply chalk it up to she's having a bad day. She was rude! Needless to say we will not go back here to give it a second chance. There are much better places out there.

The only complaint was that the dishes with vodka sauce had way too much sauce on the plate. My sister-in-law can't eat gluten any more as of last year, so she had bolognese with gluten free pasta (she said it was good but not great) but she said that is because she misses her regular pasta, so no pasta will ever be great again for her. My Niece had pasta with vodka sauce, there was way too much sauce on the plate but it was very good. My Nephew had chicken parm with vodka sauce and he loved it, again a little too much sauce on the plate though. I always get the same thing, escarole and beans with grilled chicken over pasta. This time it was a bit spicy for some reason, so I didn't love it as much as usual, but it was still very good and something you just can't find in this area. Dessert was cannolis and home made cheese cake. The owner makes the cakes here and they are all very good. Service was very attentive and good. P.S. their bread with whipped butter is excellent!

The Marsala sauce was so flavorful, plenty of mushrooms, and is served with your choice of pasta--I had penne. The entrees were both plentiful portions and we had enough to take home for another meal. We saved room for dessert. My husband had the chocolate cake and I had the Italian cheesecake which is made from ricotta cheese. It was creamy and delicious, and I enjoyed it with an excellent cup of coffee. Highly recommend this lovely family restaurant, a favorite of the locals in St. Augustine.
