The food yum and the service was phenomenal. We had the Asado trio. It was great. The steak was cooked to perfection but the chicken was a little burned. We also ordered the Thursday special, the wagyu Rueben sandwich. I would come back on a Thursday just for this. The house made sauerkraut was great and not over powering. Elizabeth was our server and made great recommendations. Our view was beautiful! Typical weather here, we had some rain come through and they quickly rolled the screens down cause we dined outside. We had our toddlers with us and it was a very pleasant experience! The staff was very accommodating to our 3 year old and 1 year old. We will definitely be back but next time we may just do a date night vs a family lunch!

Charcuterie.. The accompaniments were amazing !!

If you knew me, you would know how much I am EXTREMELY picky and a "Plain Jane" when it comes to food. Well... Asado Life in St Augustine blew me away. The ambience, service, view and food were a 10 plus!!! My top 2 in Florida since I've lived here for sure!! I went beyond my "safe" and "plain" and was so happy I did !! So so so good!!!

Excellent. The olive oil cake was my fav. The chorizo was cold. The beef wasn't that hot either. But the flavors were amazing. Very good. I'd go back!! Cool place.

I love this place. I had the chapa rice special, it was awesome. The langostinos were such a surprise when we were told it had shrimp on top. They were fresh and cooked perfectly. The mini choripans were incredible, I'd go there just for that as a meal every day if I lived closer. My husband liked his French dip but it didn't blow our minds like the other two. Service was great. Such a great vibe and well decorated

I ended my recent St Augustine staycation with lunch at Asado Life. The interior is stunning, totally my vibe & the outdoor patio areas were equally impressive. I love that they have a grab-and-go selection of meals, sandwiches, sides, and more within the restaurant. I ordered the Al Pastor Margarita and my server told me it was one of their most popular cocktails. After my first sip, I completely understood why. It's crafted with blanco tequila, lime and pineapple agave, Asado Orange Bitters (available for purchase), smoked salt rim, and a grilled pineapple garnish. For my entree, I went with the Asado Trio which includes picanha steak, house-made chorizo, and a signature-spiced chicken thigh. The steak and chorizo were both good, but I have to tell you - the chicken was the star of the show for me which I wasn't expecting. It was so moist and flavorful. Since I eat mostly chicken at home, it's never my first choice of protein when I'm dining out. That should tell you how wowed I was by Asado Life's chicken. The entree came with a house salad which was a very generous size. I really enjoyed their house vinaigrette and the toasted breadcrumbs. The potato salad side was a bit of a miss for me. I did not eat the peppers that came on it which certainly would have added some flavor. It was not bad but needed some seasoning and salt. In retrospect, I should have asked for some of the chimichurri used on the meat trio to add to it. Service was one of the highlights of the meal. My main server Stephanie was great and the servers worked well as a team. I had two different servers deliver my cocktail and then my salad, and everyone was genuinely friendly. I'm excited that they are opening a location in Jax later this year.

Tomahawk steak 40 OZ with broccoli and potatoes. (MUST PRE-ORDER the day before) The steak was excellent. Broccoli was good. Potatoes were excellent. All of that is with the steak meal. We bought extra some Fries. More like quarter huge potatoes that were fried crispy. Super good!!! Would recommend them. Overall highly recommend this restaurant!

Great food, great service, beautiful view! Started with the provoleta and focaccia. Both delicious and perfectly flavored. We had a house and caesar salad and both were good (but the house won imo). I had the filet and my husband got the trio. Filet was perfect temp and well seasoned. The chicken on the trio was great, but the steak was undercooked (ordered medium but received med rare) and didn't care for the flavor of the chorizo. We shared the olive oil cake and it was delicious. We'll definitely be back!

Our first time to Asadolife. We had an amazing experience. From drinks to Desert. Every drink and plate were beautiful Lu presented. The shrimp appetizer, Trio, hangar steak, and orange ricotta cake were full of flavor and perfectly played and cooked. Everyone on staff was friendly and attentive . We sat outside and enjoyed the beautiful marsh views and BBQ area. We will definitely be back and will highly recommend to everyone!

The food is spectacular we started withe the broccoli cheddar/potato soup. And then the steak and gorgonzola sandwich. Service from Stephanie is always amazing. When she is not here we ask for Rose or Matthew but they are all great. The ambiance is somewhat casual at lunch time. Highly suggest specialty drinks as the bartenders are amazing. And don't forget the shop to take to go items The potato salad and the manchego cheese with chimichurri is great for a snack at night.

Literally one of my favorite meals ever. Appetizer: Sesame Ginger Beef Tips. Tender, savory, with that perfect sweet ginger kick. The sauce is perfect for dipping. Main: Braised Short Ribs with the enhancement Asado Magnifico. Rich, fall off the bone perfection! And let's talk about the bread. A must. Warm, soft, and paired with the best butter. I could have made a meal out of that alone. Nash made the whole night even better with amazing service

    Lobster Gnocchi

Asado was highly recommended to us from family members that are local to the area. (From the Sunday menu) I got the lobster gnocchi (see photos), the rest of my party got the Asado bowl, various drinks, and we split a Kahlua mousse cake. Overall, the food was excellent in my opinion but some of my party members found their entree below what they expected for a Michelin recommended restaurant. However, the focaccia and an appetizer with Argentinian red shrimp (cannot remember the name) were well within the Michelin status; as was my lobster gnocchi. The service left something to be desired, however we were at the outdoor portion of the venue. One of the most unique portions of this place is the market inside, complete with some of the seasoning's unique to asado's menu as well as some high end pots and pans that made exploring the space feel comfortable and spacious.

Went out for a friend's birthday as a table of 9 and the server was very accommodating and had everything right! As a vegetarian I didn't think this would be a great pick for me but the appetizers (vegetable plate, focaccia) and meal (Asado bowl) I had were delicious and every element was flavorful! Cocktails are delicious too, I had a perfect Hugo spritz! We preordered a tomahawk steak for the table and it truly was an experience. I of course didn't eat it but everyone raved about it. Views outside are amazing too, right along the river. I highly recommend for a fancy night out!

A perfect way to end a weekend. We did not have reservations so we waited 30 minutes. The manager came to our rescue in 30 minutes. We were headed outside to the patio with 2 fresh glasses of water. We forgot to ask for lemon. I had the asado bowl with jasmine rice, black beans and grilled chicken. Also, I had pasta salad on the side. Wife had grilled shrimp with bread. The meal was flavorful but not hot. My wife enjoyed the honey I'm home. Shrimp was defined and grilled to perfection. The piece de resistance was the chocolate mouse cake. My only disappointment was no michelob ultra. We will be back for dinner. It is a prime dinner menu. I'm here for it!

What should have been a pleasant dining experience turned into an extremely stressful and disappointing situation due to the unprofessional conduct of the manager on duty, Ms. Kale. Upon arrival, my family and I were instructed to wait outside, which we did patiently for nearly an hour. Despite this long wait, we were then seated in an extremely crowded area with no regard for comfort, space, or safety. This lack of organization created significant stress for us, especially given my current recovery from a broken femur and hip. Additionally, my elderly mother, who flew from another country to visit us, and my four children -- including one with special needs -- were placed in an environment that was unnecessarily overwhelming and preventable with proper management. What made the situation far worse, however, was the behavior of Ms. Kale. When we voiced our concerns politely, she responded with unacceptable rudeness. Instead of offering a professional apology or attempting to correct the situation, she dismissed our concerns and even laughed in our faces. This reaction was not only unprofessional but deeply disrespectful. It reflected a complete lack of leadership, empathy, and customer-care standards. It is clear that this location is focused on bringing in as many guests as possible for profit, yet management is failing to properly coordinate seating, resulting in overcrowding and poor guest experiences. A manager's role is to ensure smooth operations and address issues respectfully -- something that was clearly lacking under Ms. Kale's supervision. I hope that this complaint is taken seriously, as no family should be treated in this manner. I request that appropriate action be taken to address the behavior of the manager and to improve the overall management practices at this location. Thank you for your attention. I look forward to you seeing seeing to help improvements implemented so that other guests do not experience what we did.

Now that we've officially moved here, we've been back about three more times, and somehow I love it more every time. The service has always been good, the drinks are great, and yes, there's usually a wait, but honestly, it goes by pretty quickly. We typically grab a drink and hang outside while we wait for our buzzer to go off, which makes the wait feel much more enjoyable. I have a few favorites here that I find myself coming back to: Redfish Alexandria, absolutely delicious and one of my favorites. Andouille Crusted Grouper , another standout if you're looking for something flavorful and seafood-focused. My first choice now that the low country pasta isn't available Crab Cakes, always a good choice for appetizer. Low Country Pasta, this was a special during their Mardi Gras menu, and I was SO SAD to find out it wasn't a regular menu item because I would order this all the time! The service was excellent, and the food has that fresh, thoughtful, farm-to-table feel where you can tell care is going into what comes out of the kitchen. For me, one of the biggest highlights was how seriously they take gluten-free dining. I had warm, made-from-scratch gluten-free biscuits with pork belly and a peach bourbon jam, and oh my goodness -- absolutely to die for. Everyone at the table enjoyed them. It is not often that you find a gluten-free biscuit that feels like you are getting the full experience rather than settling for an alternative. I was also impressed by how many gluten-free options they offer. Even their po' boy can be battered with rice flour. Our waiter explained that the chef is gluten-free and that they are very mindful of guests with celiac disease, including separating food preparation when needed. That level of care is a huge plus. And it wasn't just the gluten-free food that impressed us. One friend ordered the meatloaf sandwich and received a seriously hearty piece of meatloaf. My husband had the BLT with pimento cheese on thick sourdough bread, and it was excellent. We also heard that the chicken and waffles, offered during dinner, are a must-try -- so that may be calling us back! The cocktail menu was another win. The drinks were creative, original, flavorful, and clearly thoughtfully crafted rather than just the standard options you see everywhere. Everyone in our group seemed genuinely happy with what they ordered, which says a lot. Beautiful atmosphere, excellent service, creative drinks, fantastic food, and some of the best gluten-free options I've come across. Five stars all the way. I would absolutely return to The Floridian and work my way through more of that gluten-free menu!

We ordered the hand cut fries, strawberry and beet salad, and the gochujang marinated pork chop. I also ordered a few of their drinks, each one featuring different types of ice to fit the drink. Honestly all the food and the drinks were so good, but the easy standout of the night for both my spouse and I were the pork chops. These might have been the best pork chops I've ever had in my life. I was looking on Yelp for a restaurant in St. Augustine to celebrate my birthday, and La Nouvelle…read morecaught my eye with such great reviews! I knew we had to go. I'm so glad I did. This French restaurant is located in a charming 3-story historic Jefferson house, once owned by Thomas Jefferson's great-granddaughter, Maria Jefferson Eppes Shine. The restaurant is on the first floor, with the entrance tucked away in the back. They have parking in the back. The second and third floors are home to a cozy Bed and Breakfast. We arrived right at 6 p.m. and were seated at a special table by the window. The restaurant isn't huge, but it has a lovely atmosphere. Renee was our server and treated us to a complimentary champagne for the occasion. She explained the menu and the specials. The Chefs Dinner Menu was fascinating, but unfortunately, I don't eat lamb. The menu changes frequently, so I'll definitely check it out again in the future and pair it with the optional Sommelier's wine pairing. There are so many wonderful choices, but I finally decided on the Bouillabaisse, remembering all the positive comments on Yelp. When my order arrived, it was presented on a large platter with a gorgeous display. It tasted as good as it looked, with the lobster eyes staring at me. It was a whole lobster, conveniently cut, which made it easier to eat. The combination of lobster, shrimp, mussels, and clams in a saffron-flavored broth was amazing. I'm so glad I chose it. My husband opted for the Steak au Poivre with Pomme Aligot. It's mashed potatoes with melted cheese, butter, and cream. The texture was a bit tougher than regular mashed potatoes, but still delicious. I tasted his filet, and it was so tender. He loves the poivre sauce on his steak. Renee recommended all the wines we picked. We started with the complimentary Frederic Chopin Brut Blanc de Blanc, and we really liked it, so we ordered more. For my meal, I had the Barbebelle Rosé, and my husband had the Peyrassol Merlot Syrah blend. Both wines complemented our meal perfectly. We did run into an issue with my Bouillabaisse, as it was a bit too salty. The manager, Parnos, came and apologized and had the chef prepare a new batch for me. They fixed the problem right away. I'm really impressed with the service, the amazing food, and the beautiful restaurant that's now La Nouvelle. They even gave me an amazing dessert with a birthday candle for free! It had a chocolate center, a crispy crust, whipped cream topping with chocolate morsels. La Nouvelle was outstanding in so many ways, making my birthday super special.

Nestled is a residential neighborhood, this historic house offers indoor and outdoor seating, with eclectic decor and welcoming atmosphere. The chef' put together a fabulous menu and we thoroughly enjoyed our choices. The Lobster Bisque is in my top 10 and the Duck was very tasty and beautifully served. My wife's onion soup was good and her Steak Au Poivre was plentiful and tasty. The service was excellent and our server was friendly and extremely knowledgeable. I highly recommend La Nouvelle and I look forward to returning to try other dishes.

The…read morespace has a high-energy vibe with bold decor and an upscale-casual feel that instantly sets the tone for a great night out. We started with the Chili-Lime Shrimp, and that dish alone set the bar high. The shrimp were perfectly cooked and coated in a spicy chili-lime garlic sauce that had just the right kick. The miso butter emulsion and sweet soy tied everything together with a rich, slightly sweet finish. The Poke Tuna was fresh and vibrant--sashimi-grade ahi tossed in a cashew-citrus ponzu with red onion, cucumber, and seaweed salad. The fried wontons added a nice crunch that balanced the dish beautifully. The Mediterranean Pizza was a pleasant surprise. The combination of green olives, spinach, roasted red peppers, artichoke hearts, goat cheese, and garlic worked really well together on a crisp crust, giving you a savory bite with a hint of tang. The Surf & Turf Fried Rice brought bold flavors to the table. Tender beef tips and shrimp sauteed in a spicy chili glaze over vegetable fried rice, finished with fried garlic, chili oil, miso butter, and sweet soy--it was rich, flavorful, and very satisfying. The Beef Tenderloin was cooked just right--tender and juicy--paired with creamy mashed potatoes, seasonal vegetables, and a decadent truffle sauce that elevated the whole dish. Beyond the food, the service truly stands out--warm, friendly, and genuinely welcoming, making you feel taken care of throughout the entire meal. They also offer an excellent selection of wines, beers, and spirits, along with a solid dessert lineup that's worth saving room for. To top it all off, there's plenty of parking available, which is always a bonus in a busy dining area. Overall, this place nails the balance between great food, inviting service, and a fun, energetic atmosphere. Definitely a spot you'll want to revisit.

Overall, the dish was delicious. The Mahi Mahi was cooked deliciously. The sides were over-seasoned, for our tastes. However, many may enjoy this. So, it is entirely a personal preference. The Ambience was very nice, with many locals patronizing. The wait was as expected and the Service was excellent. We would gladly return to Blackfly in the future. Expect a meal for two with coke products to cost a Franklin, with tip a Jackson.
