I absolutely love five star pizza! They are always quick, affordable, and delicious. They always have deals going on so there's something for every price point. I only live about 15 minutes away-- I just wish they'd deliver to my home. The pepperoni rolls are my all time favorite.

We stopped by late one night to pick up a pie we ordered because nothing else was opened. The pizza we got had mushrooms and jalapeños and it tasted very good. My girlfriend also got buffalo wings and she loved them. It was a very tasty pizza, but typical for places like this that are opened late. I wouldn't say no to it if someone put it in front of me. The inside area is for take out and delivery and nothing more. I enjoyed it though, so all love. It's a solid 6.9 Enjoy :D

We ordered late night as we got back from being out and were starving! The delivery arrived quickly and it was easy to pick up. We ordered a thin crust pizza with pepperoni and bacon. I can appreciate a good thin crust pizza but it was a little too greasy for me. Overall satiated our hunger and hit the spot.

We're stuck in the hotel while visiting family in St. Augustine area and since we were hungry, I called the front desk to ask for a local pizza place recommendation. So, they told me Five Star is great, they order from them also and delivers to the hotel, they know the drill and come up to your room. So I called them, I got nice service over the phone and ordered a large pizza with black olives and pepperoni. Delivery isn't the fastest, but they did show up and did their job OK, I know distances are a tad longer. We were happy to see the delivery guy. No frills. Pizza is good, better than expected, had 2 slices left over. For 2 people I'd get a Medium instead of Large if you don't eat a lot. Glad we tried a local pizza joint. They misspelled my name to a ridiculous degree on receipts, but that turned into a family joke, no offense taken. Good, solid pizza if you live or travel in the area. Glad they came to deliver right to our door!

It's been over a year since I ordered from five star Pizza. I felt that their quality and their taste had really gone downhill I received a $12 coupon and decided okay let's give them a try one small Hawaiian pizza 10 wings mild. The Pizza showed up with a side of blue cheese dressing. No wings. The pizza arrived at 5:43 and the things arrived at 6pm. Both warm, not hot, warm. A free large 1 topping pizza to make up for the lousy meal that you sent out in the first place. I won't be using your free coupon as I will simply be DISAPPOINTED again with what should now be named 1 star pizza. If I had not had a glass of wine i would be in my vehicle driving to your location to show you just how disgusting your food is. The pizza was not even cut all the way on ANY slice.

We just got home from 2 weeks in Cancún with delayed and re-routed flights, an overnight in Charlotte and long hours waiting around in airports. No energy for making dinner or going out so we ordered from these guys and the pizza was here in a flash! Couldn't believe how fast they delivered our well done meatball pizza with 1/2 onions and banana peppers. It was a perfect thin crust and crispy. We also ordered the hot wings (which to me weren't very hot) but still very good. It's not our first time ordering from them and we liked it before as well. I just wanted to say thanks for making coming home tired, grumpy, and hungry a little bit better. Thanks Five Stars!

I called and asked if they have the back to school special and rather than answer my question the employee on the phone had a childish attitude and kept saying that it was self-explanatory and that it was only for kids going to school and it was pretty self-explanatory what's funny is if I drove up there that same idiot would not keep the same energy and say the same thing this place is really trashy and stupid And so are the idiots that they have answering the phone

If it's 230am and everything is closed- this is your place. The pizza was basic on flavor and toppings, the staff was super friendly, but the layers of grease on the ceiling were gross.

This is one more of my favorite pizza places around St. Augustine, they're super fast and consistently good. They're also open until 2am. We found them craving late night pizza delivery while staying in the historic downtown area. We're currently staying in Ponte Vedra and they don't deliver out here, but we liked them well enough to do carry out one night. The Piezilla fed 6 people with plenty of leftovers. read more

You won't be disappointed. After a very disappointing trip to St. Augustine FL, (nothing but bars everywhere), we stopped here to grab a pizza and take back to our room at the dreaded Historic Inn (another review). The place was very busy, opened til 3am, clean, and fairly fast for pizza. We ordered a half and half pizza with cheese sticks. Both were very good, lots of toppings, 2 merinara's in the box, complete with paper plate and parm cheese packets. The pizza and cheese sticks were awesome. If you're looking for a great meal in disappointing St. Augustine.... look no further than five star pizza. You'll love it. The pizza's are huge and the flavor even bigger! Your in a hotel its late you have been at the beach all day or just visiting the Old City and trying not to forget how Great a Place it is. The rain is storming .. So you look for a pizza delivery ..You find a "Not so Large Chain" Five Star Pizza and cross you fingers... You know that Wolf Gang or Mario is not going to make it .... About 20 minutes later here is your Large HUGE pizza and wings $20.00 enough food for 4 people!! Sure I have had Pizza in Italy and about 10 other states and a few other country's. Great taste, excellent prices and the service was perfect. The delivery person was prompt and very polite. This is not pizza! It's cardboard with cheap tomato sauce and cheap cheese...anyone who thinks this is real pizza or delicious has not had real pizza! I would venture to say that Tony's frozen pizza from the grocery is better..that's not saying a whole lot. read more

I am very upset! One of their pizza delivery drivers ran into my vehicle. When I contacted their insurance to try and repair my vehicle I come to find out they have no insurance available! How ca. A chain restaurant have a driver delivering their pizza with no insurance to cover damages! This driver literally just ran into my parked car! I have been calling them and no response! They need to pay for these damages! read more

Good pizza, probably one of the best in town. This is saying a lot since technically it's a chain. The one thing from them that's not the greatest is their wings. They are very greasy. Everything else coming from the oven is very good. read more

Friday night, unfamiliar with the area, not sure who we should contact to deliver pizza. Decided to give this place a try. Called and ordered. The guy told me they'd deliver as soon as they could. Of course I thought that meant it would be a long while. I was so wrong !!! Delivered within about 20 minutes ... I was pleasantly surprised! Pizza was as impressive as the fast delivery! We ordered pepperoni, sausage, mushrooms & onions with extra cheese on 1\2. Nothing went to waste ...It was delicious! The crust was not too thick and the sauce was very flavorful. 5 Star Pizza at 3 star prices! Back in 2011 I gave 5 Star Pizza 2/5 stars but boy have they stepped up their game. Best delivery and they are open super late into the early hours of the A.M. Best Pizza Delivery in Town. Excellent pizza for this area. I have been all over the country and have had some great pizza. The quality, freshness, service and price exceed expectations. Always friendly delivery and fast! Wide variety of options to choose from. The have decent wings as well. My go to place for pizza delivery always. read more

When you want more grease, flavor, and local-ness than the pizza giants, or when it's too late for the other places. The garlic rolls are oh-so-buttery-garlic-y! The 18" will feed several people, or maybe a whole family. When our family is looking to chow down on some pizza for movie night, this is the best option in St Augustine. read more

Poor quality. I am from Chicago where there is clearly a higher standard for pizza. I spent 20.00 for this 2 topping pizza, and that was 15.00 too much. This quality is below little ceasers, dominos, and papa johns; even though these chain pizzas are much cheaper. read more

I had never heard of Five Star but decided to give it a try. IT WAS THE BEST PIZZA EVER!!!! I ordered the Supreme and it had all the usual plus a tiny bit of pineapple, jalapenos and ham. The crust was just perfect. Not thin but very light and airy. I usually ditch the crust edges but not with this one. I will definitely make this my go to spot for pizza. read more

Five Star is the typical pizza joint you'd find in a college town, which makes it right at home in St. Augustine, FL. The pizza isn't extraordinary, but it goes down very easy, especially with some garlic knots or pepperoni rolls. The thing they really excel at is the portions. They're HUGE. And the price won't make you sick. Don't expect to dine-in at Five Star though. They're a take-out and delivery joint only. read more

I live in Palm Coast but work in St Augustine, so I was hoping they'd be as good in St Aug back home and they were every bit as good and as fast. I didn't even realize they were a chain until I came across this store. Anyway, the way I always test a pizza is by just getting a plain cheese and they passed the test big time. After that, I tried their super pepperoni pizza which is extra pepperoni and cheese and it was greasy and awesome. And I always get an order of either garlic rolls(8 dough balls in garlic sauce with a marinara dipping sauce) or cinnamon rolls(dough balls in cinnamon butter with sugar glaze on the side) if I feel like something sweet. I love the dough at this place!!! read more

Total left field pizza score! Tried them randomly and was seriously surprised. Sauce is killer, nice spice to it. We got the "All the Meats" and it had spicy sausage & nicely smoky bacon. I did carry out but open until 3 & delivery in THIS town?!? This should be at the top of your pizza phone tree. Only reason it didn't get 5 stars is the crust is a bit doughy for my taste. I'm particular to thin NY style, sorry. I worked through it though. :) read more

Unfortunately everything here wasn't perfect the "West Creek Whipped Spread Butter Blend" is an abomination, it ruined everything we put it on, my bad for not asking for real butter after applying it to my toast, my grits and the English Muffin we ordered, it was inedible to the point we left everything on the plate this stuff touched it wasn't refrigerated as suggested on the label I'm guessing. I usually eat only real butter so what was I thinking - so my dilemma is how do I review this place fairly based on that stuff and the fact it ruined our food since we loved everything else. Well I guess they'll get three stars for now and I'll return and maybe bring my own butter because this place is a place you really want to love...

It was only $12.99, and it had a generous piece of fish , grilled to perfection. The Greek dishes are perfect too. The Chryssaidis family, owns the Athena Restaurant also, but it's in the city center, and it always tough to find parking. The diner is away from the hubbub. It won't disappoint.

Going downhill. They are still the best pizza delivery in town: quality, quantity and speed. They should have stuck to pizza. They recently introduced wings to their menu. A little pricy, but I've ordered them several times. The consistency is improving as far as size and cooking times go. I've always ordered mine plain with the hot sauce on the side. HOWEVER, the last time I ordered, the cost had increased slightly over $1. It turned out that they were charging 50 cents for each side, and I was getting 2 10-wing orders. Spoke to a "manager" , since this had never happened before; he didn't charge me for the sauces "this time". but would check to confirm the policy. I called back a few days later to check on the issue, and was told by a different "manager" that that was indeed the policy. If they poured the sauce on the wings, there would be no charge, but putting it in a SMALL plastic cup was 50 cents. Why? It was their policy. I could understand if it was extra sauce, but it wasn't. I asked which cost them more, the little cup of sauce or the container of Ken's blue cheese dressing (which comes with it at NO extra charge). He acknowledged it was the blue cheese, which I don't usually even get. He wanted to sell me some wings, but on his terms; he'd comp it, he'd give me special treatment, he'd substitute the sauce for the dressing. He was "winging" it as he went.:) The policy is simply wrong-headed. When you're charging almost $1 per wing, don't nickel-and-dime the customers over the sauce. Bottom line: If you must order out a pizza, do call them. If you want hot wings, call a Publix deli and pick up the order at half the price. read more

This was the first time we have ordered in a while. I placed the order online, and drove in to pick up. When I walked in they were very busy and still greeted me as I came in. My order was ready and they offered me plates. As I was leaving one of the staff ran to open the door and also helped with my car door. First of all whoever i spoke to on the phone was so super sweet. Her name was jasmine? And I simply ordered a huge jumbo Zilla pizza as I do almost every Friday.
