I have lived in St AUGUSTINE for 15 years. Decided to come down to "old town" St Aug for the last day of summer vacation. We were still a little hungry tonight because we had appetizers at dinner, so we decided to order a pizza. Five Star came up and we placed an order for a large pizza (1/2 all meats and 1/2 double pepperoni) and an order of cheesy sticks. I also ordered 2 garlic sauces and some banana peppers and just asked to throw in some red pepper flakes and Parmesan. The order arrived in what seemed like 20 minutes! I was caught off guard because I never expected it to be that quick! The pizza was delicious- loaded with toppings and baked to perfection. The garlic sauce seemed like homemade and the cheesy sticks were great too. The thing that really impressed me - and it may seem trivial - but we were staying in a hotel and my husband made a comment about how we wouldn't have plates. Behold - I open up the bag that they had placed the Parmesan, peppers and sauces in and what do I find? A small stack of paper plates and napkins. Bravo Five Star! You get Five Stars from me. We ordered from this pizzeria simply because we were stuck in our hotel due to my son not feeling well and the lobby gave us a list of delivery options. We went with Five Star because it was the only one that was not a Papa Johns-type pizza choice. In spite of the reviews here, we did not expect much. Most of the St. Augustine spots that deliver on Friday nights take forever and hello...a little pizza joint? OMG. They delivered to door in less than 25 minutes---did I mention it was a Friday night?--and the pizza was still piping hot. We ordered Hawaiian and half cheese. It was outstanding. Like, really, impressively outstanding. The Hawaiian was probably one of the best Hawaiian pizzas we have ever had. Not too greasy or overly-sweet with just enough pineapple and ham. The cheese side was excellent too, even for "just cheese" standards. The delivery guy was pleasant, friendly, and professional. Insanely fast delivery I don't know if the delivery men wear jet-packs or what, but my pizza was at my hotel door waayyyy faster than expected. The pizza was pretty good and at a great price too. I had been wanting PizzaTime pizza, but was not in the mood to pay for parking and walk in the tourist area, so luckily FiveStar was there for us. This pizza was really good. We had a supreme and a pepperoni and mushroom pizza and the cinnamon rolls. The pizza is full of toppings and lots of cheese making it really filling. We were in St Augustine visiting for a long weekend and didn't feel like going out to eat after a long day. We ordered a pizza and had it delivered to our rental. We ordered a 18" pizza with quite a few toppings. We were very impressed with the fresh ingredients used for toppings and the amount of toppings on the pizza. What really got them the 5th was the fast delivery. They were here in just over 20 minutes and the driver was pleasant and not jus "here you go" type of delivery driver. When we're back in St Augustine we will definitely try more items from their menu and I will recommend them to my friends who live here year round. read more

Deluxe large pizza had about 6 pieces of pepperoni on it and marginal other toppings, might as well have ordered a cheese pizza. The wings were overdone. SO DISAPPOINTED!!! I wanted to order a pie on the way out of town to take home this year - NOPE! Tried reheating today to see if maybe it was better....not good. Excellent, for the first time se have a first rate pizza place. Well, as far as I am concerned. the shole pizza is fresh, from the crust to the sauce and the fixins. I've eaten a lot of pizza over the years and this is the only place I can find that has real pizza. Yes, I am fussy, I came from a place that had real Italian New Your style pizza all over the place. Nobody ever came close until Five Star showed up. The pies are delicious, the prices and sizes arre great. There is more of a choice up to 24 inch.
