We have been wanting to try this restaurant for years and finally make it there. It did not disappoint. The service was phenomenal, the ambiance cozy and the food delectable. I got the goat cheese salad for appetizer and my husband got the soup du jour which was a mushroom soup. Both were great and generous servings. For dinner my husband got the scallops and I the surf and turf. The presentation alone was worth the price. Dessert was butter rum cake which was warm and sweet. I really can't complain about anything as it was all so good. We will definitely be back. read more

Dined here on a Thursday early before doing the lights tour. The food is delicious. I had the beef tenderloin...others had the scallops and grouper. would definitely return read more

This little gem was a wonderful find!! The food was wonderful, surpassed only by the service. Great place to celebrate an anniversary or quiet dinner with someone special! We've eaten at many of St Augustine's fine restaurants, but I'd put this one at the top of our list! read more

Delicious food, appealing decor and excellent service. I have wanted to go to Collage for years and I finally went to celebrate my birthday. Our server, Franco, was fabulous. We never felt rushed and he kindly told us the specials twice and even helped us pair our bottles of wine. We will definitely be back! Collage is a must hen you are in Saint Augustine. read more

10 out of 10! (Yelled in a funny voice while doing a little ditty!) What a lovely and special place! The perfect romantic restaurant for a special event or sharing a great memory with someone close to you. My wife, brother, and sister-in-law recently dined at Collage and had an outstanding meal from start to finish! We had two tenderloin meals cooked perfectly and both had excellent seasonings. Then there were some shared appetizers of burrata and scallops along with soup and salad. There was nothing left on any of our plates! The bread service was so outstanding that we ordered a second loaf! Our service was pretty flipping spot on too! From the moment we were greeted until literally heading out the door we were treated well and everyone had a smile! Yes, this is a pricey restaurant. Yes, be prepared so you can get it off your mind and enjoy the experience! And go and ENJOY the experience! It was a truly beautiful meal! To those about to dine, I salute you! read more

Awesome small restaurant with an intimate feel and outstanding service. I had steak tartare followed by the lobster ravioli. My husband got a steak. The food was carefully prepared - my ravioli had a chunk of lobster in each piece. Clearly it was handmade as advertised. My hubby ate his steak all gone, but he did give me a bite. The sauce was amazing. Like most places in the area, the parking is valet. The wines as well chosen and well priced at around $10 per glass. The descriptions of the wine were helpful too. Yes, it doesn't have and ocean view but this also is not a tourist trap. This is a place to go for a special occasion. We went for our anniversary. The bread was so good we brought some home with our leftovers. The service was spot on. I never had an annoyance with too much attention or not enough. Seating was comfortable and not too crowded. It was a very pleasant, relaxing experience. read more

Great place to dine especially after a dreading Helene hurricane. Enjoyed the complimentary bread with basil infused olive oil with garlic. Along with that, we ordered gambas which has a creole New Orleans flavor to it. For the main entree, we ordered the special of the day and the pork chop. Pork chop was perfectly cooked at medium. Polenta and Brussels sprouts were great combination for it. read more

Definitely in the top three meals I've ever had in my life. Worth every penny. It's very intimate. Service was great. My husband got the lobster ravioli and I got the tenderloin au poivre. We also got a got a bottle of the Edge Red Wine. We tried the crème brûlée. Didn't get a picture of that but sooooo good! EVERYTHING was so delicious. read more

Service and professionalism was superb. Atmosphere was nice. Food quality was delicious however most entrees were $50 and up! Definitely an experience for a special occasion. read more

Food was excellent and service was great. Will go back for other things we saw on the menu when we are back in town.

Wow, wow, wow. Fantastic food and service. Ambiance was perfect - only 15 tables and they do not rush you at all. They know how to serve course by course - kudos! A must go to place in St. Augustine! read more

Collage is a hidden gem. Great food, outstanding service, quaint atmosphere. It has become our go-to restaurant when we are in St. Augustine. read more

If I could give zero stars I would. Noisy, non romantic restaurant, zero ambiance, horrible service. We were seated 1/2 hour and kept getting overlooked for another table that the waiter was friends with, we were ignored over and over as he walked by us ensuring his "friends" who were seated AFTER us were taken care of. We left, as we thought this is how our entire experience was going to play out. the restaurant is nothing special, there are tons of restaurants in St. Aug. We went to Llama instead and had a great experience with superior service and food. Don't waste your time going here. read more

Tonight we visited Collage for my Birthday dinner and noticed a substantial decline in the quality of service and food. Over the past ten years we have been to this restaurant at least three times a year. Tonight the service was asked three times to take our picture for my birthday post on Facebook, he never did but the manager came by and asked if everything was okay and we then asked him to take our picture. The burrata appetizer for two which the server highly recommended was very underwhelming. The black grouper was very good but the jasmine rice side dish was served very wet , mushy and only slightly warm. The server offered to bring another serving of rice however, we were almost finished eating the fish when the rice arrived and it was not hot but still very wet and mushy... The complimentary birthday dessert which we have been served many times was presented without a candle so the server obviously did not remember we were celebrating my birthday. Later the manager asked us how we enjoyed our meal, I honestly told him it was not a good experience and I felt that the restaurant was declining. The rum cake did not have the same quality as in the past and it was also disappointing. I told him that we have been going to Collage for ten years and we would not be coming back. He offered no apology or other considerations to remedy the situation. Very sad to eliminate this restaurant as a go to place for special occasions. read more

Had a very nice dinner. Food delicious. Ambience very nice. Franco, our server, was very good. Had to ask for a table AWAY from the front door. One knock: The bathroom looked like a restroom in a bus station. PLEASE make an effort and spend a couple of thousand dollars and renovate it = AWFUL!!! Does not match the restaurant at all. Overall pleased with Collage. Would give a 4.0 - to 4.5. read more

Such a great experience dinning here. Small but not cramped, intimate and classy is the best way I can describe it. The ambiance is on point! Everything we had was truly amazing. Wine selection is extensive and filled with a ton of great choices that fit any budget. We started with the steak tartar bruschetta app. Four bite size pieces of a delicious culinary roller coaster of flavors. I know it seems I'm being extra but truthfully I'm not. Each bite brought a different flavor to the pallet and they were all amazing. Followed up with the rack of lamb and it was sooooooo good. Like melt in your mouth good. My only regret was being too full to try their deserts. If you're looking for a borderline fine dinning experience, this is a must try. You're going to drop some coin but again, worth it. read more

Wow! What a fun dining experience. My husband and I aren't super fancy, but we do like experiencing it every once in a while. Service was EXCELLENT! And the place was never crowded, which is weird because every time I'd try to book online it was always booked out months in advance...but when we were there hardly anyone was around. Which was nice! Don't get me wrong. But we would have come much sooner had we known by calling you probably have a better chance of getting in... Food was all outstanding EXCEPT the lobster pate. That was easily one of the worst things I've ever had. My husband and I thought it was a block of cheese? Haha. And it tasted like you were eating butter. Wayyyy too rich for anyone in their right mind. And the bread wasn't toasted enough to spread the brick of a lobster upon. It was bad. But that's what happens sometimes when you look to order the most interesting thing on the menu. Sometimes you lose the battle ;) But!!! Everything else was wonderful!!! My veal melted in my mouth. I cleaned every inch of that plate. My husband had the duck and he said it was outstanding. And we both decided on the coconut ice cream-wow!! Best I've EVER had. Ever. I was quite impressed. If you get a chance and they have it on their menu, get the Etude wine! We were able to try it from a sampler sold at Costco this past Xmas (2020) and we LOVED it! And they just so happened to have it here! Great great Pinot Noir! read more

I visited Collage Restaurant for the first time about six years ago and had a phenomenal experience. I decided to return last weekend during a short trip to St. Augustine. The restaurant was just as good, if not better, than my first visit. First of all, if you want to eat here, get reservations a few weeks in advance since the restaurant is quite small and they tend to run out of available seating. During this visit I ordered the Beef Tenderloin Tartare, Veal Orleans, and Homemade Butter Rum Cake. The Beef Tenderloin Tartare was fresh, tender and melt in your mouth and topped with a rich yolky quail egg, briny capers, flavorful anchovies, and crisp shallots. This combination with the side of roasted garlic-scallion crème fraiche was a heavenly combination of decadent flavors. The Veal Orleans was super tender and topped with a rich earthy fondue and paired with a briny tender artichoke, creamy whipped potatoes, and meaty tender juicy shrimp. This was some of the best veal I have ever had. For dessert the Homemade Butter Rum Cake was perfectly soft and moist with a creamy glaze and a nice rum flavor. Overall, this is my favorite restaurant in St. Augustine and a must visit. read more

Went here for my wife and I's anniversary. The restaurant is in the heart of historic downtown Saint Augustine and is a small intimate setting with only about 14 tables (so reservations are likely required). We ordered some lamb meatballs, steak, and dessert. The lamb meatballs were delicious! The steak was cooked as ordered however the tomato sauce they use with the steak does not work. It tasted like our steak was paired with a spicy marinara sauce. If I return I would not get that sauce again. Overall, we enjoyed this restaurant. However for the price I expected the food to be better. read more

This is a wonderful restaurant we found in the heart of St Augustine. Fun atmosphere although its a very expensive and classy restaurant. Food and service was outstanding and our server Louis was outstanding. We had the Burrata and beef carpaccio appetizers and three of us had the veal ossobucco special and veg ravioli. All amazing. The desserts were unbelievable but we were really full by then. Perfect evening. Wine was an Alexander Valley Cab as a perfect pairing recommended by his highness Louis. Thank you. I will be back read more

Positioned as a fine dining restaurant. It does have good high quality food and elevated service. The main mark that's missed is that it's really lacking ambiance. Really would go far if they made the space nicer and more cozy. read more

Have been to St. Augustine a few times and noticed Collage. Love the environment as it is in an old house (I assume). Service was great as was the food. It was a little expensive (IMO) but this was our special dinner on this trip. Was worth the price read more

Dinner was over the top excellent. We started with the burrato which was amazing. I had the pork loin as my entree which had an apple/carmelized reduction with broccolini & a potato. Can't say enough good remarks for this outstanding restaurant that serves amazing food by excellent staff! read more

Food was delicious. Definitely recommend making reservations at least a month out. Very difficult to get into but food is definitely worth it. Lots of wine and beer options. We opted for a glass of bella gloss each and they brought out bread service and told us the specials. We ordered the potato leak and mushroom soups that were on their specials list. I ordered the Lobster ravioli and my boyfriend the Duo di manzo. We were both very pleased with our choices and each were very full afterwards. For dessert we got the rum cake which they brought out with a birthday candle in honor of my birthday. It was delicious. Service was great, very professional waitress. Only thing i would recommend is updating the dining area but then again the rustic look adds some charm to this restaurant in such a historic city. read more

Dining perfected! Amazing atmosphere and service. Romance in the air! A gem among gems in old town St. Augustine.

My favorite restaurant in St. Augustine! We randomly stumbled upon this spot when we were walking and getting lost on the streets. The restaurant looks like a converted house turned dining room. The staff is super knowledgeable and friendly. It is the perfect date spot. We sat in front of the fireplace and it was super romantic except that it was in front of the door so we saw everyone walk in. ALL of the dishes are amazing.. we've been here enough times to try quick a selection of the entrees. My favorite is scallops and the duck is a close second. It's not family friendly and not really group friendly either.. it's more of a spot to enjoy one on one time with someone you care about. read more

I was very excited to go eat here, I had seen great reviews and it had been on my " To try list" for awhile! Walking in it's cute and smaller then I was expecting, like a house that was converted to a restaurant. I consider myself an adventurous eater and when I go out to eat try to find unusual dishes or definitely something I can't just make at home. Their menu looked good, some fancy stuff..I had already looked up the menu before we came and had seen things I wanted to try, but when we sat down the current menu was different ( which I do love when places do seasonal menu, that's great use what's fresh at that time) and the prices were quite higher then a few months ago. I know inflation and COVID, but when dishes are hitting the $50 mark for one entree I expect them to be amazing! So we got a few apps, the bruschetta was delicious, 2 entrees we both liked the Duo di Manzo, very tasty, and dessert. Both of us thought the food was good, but not amazing, just priced a little bit too high. They have a very romantic vibe here, would be good for a date night or special occasion dinner! read more

I'm so glad we Finally made it here! It's a cute, intimate artsy setting in the heart of Saint Augustine. Our waiter was very knowledgeable on the dishes and even wet substitutions would not compromise the overall flavor composition of the dish. The wine selection was fantastic and the menu was small which is a huge plus in my book. I had the pan seared snapper And substituted for the white wine butter sauce. My husband had the beef tenderloin au-poivre. Amazing!! Things I would recommend = going at night, getting a reservation, and just be ready to relax. read more

Looking for a perfect date place or place to propose? A place to celebrate an anniversary or promotion? Need a special place to go for what evs? THEN LOOK NO FURTHER. Collage is a perfect combination of excellent food and amazing atmosphere with unpretentious service. So you will feel comfortable in a suit dressing up jeans with a jacket. My wife and I ventured there to celebrate our anniversary, and I told them in advance what we were celebrating but they made no mention of it. We started with a shared appetizer of escargot one a puff pastry. The pastry was light and delicious while the ESCARGOT was full of the garlic flavor you expect. We then had a house special salad with fried onions, goat cheese and vinaigrette dressing. It was not an excellent dish, but it was a valiant effort on elevating a salad. Our entrees were a mixed bag, my wife had the BLACK GROUPER, BasmatI Rice, and she also ordered a lobster tail on the side proclaiming this a Surf and Surf. Her grouper was masterfully prepared and highlighted the grouper flavor and the lobster was simply grilled and perfection as it was served. I tried the house special VEAL CHEEK, which was one the most disappointing dishes I have had on a long time. The cheek was like a pot roast texture and just did not have that much flavor. It was super expensive, which made it super disappointing. However the RISOTTO it was served with was sublime. So technically perfect in texture and flavor, it really was tasty. It also came with MARROW served in the bone, which is a rare treat. It was so flavorful, I was surprised I enjoyed it so much. Parking is an issue, so we took an Uber, but be aware of this when trying to make your reservations time. I should also point out the RESERVATIONS are a must. Service is unparalleled without being pretentious, so ENJOY. read more

Really enjoyed our experience here. I see why I had to book two months out for this place. I got the snapper and my husband got the porterhouse pork chop. Both were SO AMAZING. The burrata appetizer was perfect. We came here for our anniversary and felt very spoiled. They even included a little rum cake dessert. I still got coconut ice cream to try and it was so good! I would definitely come back here if I was in the area. Book pretty far in advance for ideal times ! One FYI we didn't realize. There's only wine and beer no liquor. Price: pricey but definitely worth the price. Parking: there's a few lots downtown but waking is better Service: great. Well paced, attentive service read more

Really, really great food and a seasonal menu in a cozy environment and super accommodating staff. We had a medium sized party (6 people) with one vegan and another person with strict (and confusing) dietary restrictions. Everyone had something they could eat; the chef prepared special courses for the vegan, which she said were great. I had the potato and leek soup (the soup du jour), and it was excellent. Creamy and well-seasoned, and not too thick, with lots of rich umami from the leeks. For my entree, I had the lobster ravioli which was also fantastic. Would love to come back again-- just wish parking in St. Augustine was a little easier! We were late for our reservation because we were just circling the block in stop-and-go traffic for 15 minutes, trying to get to the (too expensive!) $11 parking lot. read more
