Nice Italian restaurant for a Friday night out with a friend. Food was not bad but not amazing. There are definitely better Italian restaurants in New York. It was honestly pretty pricy for $50+ for 2 dishes and 1 drink. We ordered Spaghetti alle vongole + shrimp which was nice and light with clams with not much sauce but flavor is there. The Pollo alla parmigiana was overwhelmingly tomatoey and that was all I could taste. The hibiscus drink was a little artificial and sweet.

Service and ambiance were both excellent. Appetizers (fried zucchini) was excellent. We ordered chicken parm and chicken Marsala as entrees. Marsala dish was tasty but a bit too salty. Overall, a very nice place for dinner!

Cute and big spot. Good for happy hour (not valid at low tables) the drinks were good and service was great as well. Kind servers- it did get a little hot though as it was open air concept and no AC at the time, but not unbearable. Salad, pasta, calamari and bruschetta was ordered. Everything was solid.

botte brooklyn is an italian restaurant located in downtown brooklyn. it was recommended by a friend who lives in the area. i caught up with two of my friends there around 3 pm, and we had a wonderful evening, we stayed for a few hours. it wasn't too busy, and we ordered appetizers, dinner, and a few desserts to share. for the appetizer, we had the fried rice balls, which had a nice crunch on the outside paired with a warm, cheesy interior. we also had the margherita pizza, which was honestly a pretty standard pizza. the sauce was flavorful, the mozzarella cheese was warm and melty, and the size was good for three people. then we tried the rigatoni with vodka sauce, which was superb: cooked al dente with a creamy sauce and a little bit of spice. for dessert, the pistachio and strawberry cheesecake, was honestly the star of the show. the fresh strawberry paired with the decadent cheesecake was unexpected. pricing was pretty standard for a new york city restaurant, and the ambience was incredible. it had an outdoorsy feel, decorated super cute inside, with plenty of seating. the staff was really nice and accommodating, which made the experience even better. there are bathrooms inside, and i was able to walk in without a reservation. overall, it was a really great experience, and i would totally come back.

Food was Bland to say the least. It taste like I was eating chef boardi from the can! I've had better chicken parm when I was in Jersey! No salt, season, ehhh... the Caesar salad was better than the actual meal so that says a lot. Our whole table took the food to go and left it on the curb! Not what I was expecting

price - $60 including tax and tip food - 4/5 service - 3/5 ambiance - 4/5 overall, it was a good experience. the food was a bit on the pricier side cause of the neighborhood its in but the food was actually pretty good. i really liked their penne alla vodka since it was so flavorful. the margarita pizza was really thin however so it was definitely priced on the higher end. the service was okay since it took a while for the servers to take note of our table. the ambiance was really nice! it felt like i was in italy because of the old school interior design

I had high hopes for this place and was left with mixed feelings. Visually, the inside was beautiful and sets a nice ambiance! However, the service was cold and abrupt while the food was mediocre and over priced. The cacio e pepe, usually one of my favorites, was congealed and undercooked. The salmon meanwhile, was very overcooked. I'd love for this place to be better, or the prices to better reflect the quality.

Excellent find in Brooklyn very close to the Marriott. Cool relaxed vibe. Delicious food. We started with the arugula pear salad. Entrees were gnocchi and the orecchiette with sausage and broccoli. Finished with sambuca, coffee and espresso martinis. Elideth was spot on with her service and very friendly. Would definitely come back.

Came here for a nice brunch with my wife on a Sunday. We arrived around 1Pm and we were the only ones there. The people working there are all super friendly and nice (+1 star) The food is kinda average Italian food (3 stars). We started off with the truffle fries and were disappointed. I wish I had known that it was potato wedges because I wouldn't have gotten it. The wedges were tossed in truffle oil but I couldn't really taste the truffle the I think they forgot to salt the wedges The rice balls are really good. I was actually so pleasantly surprised. The outside is crispy and light. The inside had cheese and rice. Paired together with the sauce was really nice The chicken parm came out looking like a pizza. I'm so surprised on how they can get a piece of chicken to get to this width. Anyways, it tasted like chicken parm. It didn't blow me out of this world

I have been here a couple times recently and both times have been delightful! I have been here awhile ago and didn't have a great experience but I decided to try and I'm so glad I did! Wonderful service and the food is great! I wish they had ravioli though but hey! The spicy rigatoni, burrata, pizza everything! 10/10. Special shoutout to Nick who was our server on Christmas! Visited Botte Brooklyn with a friend of mine during a weekend trip during my first time to New York, and I can say that I really enjoyed myself! It was highly recommended by the hotel that I stayed at and so I decided to stop by. For starters, I really enjoyed the ambiance of the restaurant with the warm lighting and it made me having sort of a homey good feeling which I really appreciate. The service was very well and the waiters and waitresses seem to really know their stuff. Now for the food... there were quite a bit of options but I felt like I wanted to go with an Italian classic, so I decided to go with the Carbonara. I'm normally a big fan of it, but unfortunately I'd have to say that it was just okay which was a little disappointing, but there's always an opportunity to come back and try other things on the menu. As for dessert I ended up getting one of my favorite desserts--Tiramisu--and my God was it heavenly. I'm disappointed that I didn't end up finishing it because of me stupidly deciding to mix wine and a Long Island ice tea, but I still savored it, and I'm glad I did. That Tiramisu really made my day I tell you, lol. Overall, I'll be back for sure.

What a fabulous Italian restaurant! Here's what we ordered: ~Just take the ferry- Hudson bourbon, Contratto bitter, amaro montenegro, martelletti sweet vermouth ~Not for sale- zaya reserva rum, Orange juice, agave, lemon, sparkling rose. A yummy, fruity cocktail! ~Grandmas meatballs-homemade beef meatballs with tomato sauce; You know we had to get that parmesan piled on!! ~Burrata with prosciutto de Parma-You can already tell I'm obsessed with burrata by now. I loved smearing it on the fresh bread ~NY strip medium rare with fries and garlic mushrooms; The steak was so juicy, had wonderful grill marks, and was cooked to perfection. Also, those were some of the best fries I have EVER had. ~Carbonera with shrimp-spaghetti pasta with guanciale, eggs, black pepper and pecorino; It was so rich and cheesy!! ~Cannoli ~Coccole con Nutella-one of the best desserts I've had! Bite-sized pieces of fried dough covered in chocolate, powdered sugar, and fresh strawberries; IT IS A MUST ORDER!! Thank you to Botte Brooklyn this extraordinary meal. Worse take out EVER tonight. Ordered their fungi (mushroom) pizza with trifle oil. Asked for additional San Marzano tomatoes. Also ordered the tri-color salad with balsamic on the side. $42.00 for a 10" pie and a dried out tasteless salad? The cheese was cold and almost solid. Those tomatoes were standard store bought & mealy. NOTHING San Marzano about them. Was a regular customer under the old owners. I won't be back. Not sure why anyone would spend their $$ there with so many great restaurants nearby. read more

Decent food, but the server we had was too attentive. I swear he came over every 5 mins -- which isn't so great, when you're catching up with your friends and getting constantly interrupted for literally no reason. Great wine, good food and glad they are so close to home. read more

I'm sorry, but I am not as impressed with this spot as the rest of you. I made a trip to Botte with the highest of hope's, and I was disappointed. The space is not particularly beautiful, and the location is not great. I planted myself at the bar and had some dinner. The bar is covered with white tile, and the stool's are uncomfortable. I ordered a glass of Sauvignon Blanc and a glass of the Super Tuscan. The wines were tasty, but the pour was stingy. I ordered the special Nero Gnocchi with Seafood. The Nero Gnocchi did not work, but the seafood was tasty. I very much appreciated the complimentary bread basket, but the bread was not very good. There are lot's of other options in downtown Brooklyn, and I will continue to explore them. read more

Stopped by for the very first time this past Friday and boy did they not disappoint! I had eaten previously at the location in Astoria, but this one is bigger and the food is just as delicious. Really surprised this place has so many stars. To start, there was no air conditioning on an 80 degree day. The waiter described the specials as having broccoli when really it was broccoli rabe; while they do share part of their name, the tastes are quite different. Everything was underwhelming, starting with the stale bread and oil, the pesto fettuccini, and the rolled chicken special. Unfortunately, not a repeater for us. read more

Friendly bartenders, great happy hour menu. Had the bruschetta (fig and ricotta, yum) and the meatballs. The meatballs were delish. I've had my share of meatballs and this one was up there. Also had a dirty, dirty. It was on the salty side but will definitely be back to try other drinks. Will be back to try the pasta dishes and wine. read more

Solid place with a good bar happy hour. Drinks at the bar are cheaper than at the tables but you can grab a drink there and take it to your seat. We had a salad, pizza, and pasta. The carbonara was ok, but the pizza and salad were both really good. My partners had the meatballs before I arrived and they liked them. Server was friendly, would pop back in if I was in the neighborhood and eat at the bar. read more

Stopped into this super-cute Italian restaurant while on travel to Brooklyn. Went early as I was hungry after traveling. I was the only customer at 5pm on a Tuesday. Okay so boom! Some friends and I pulled up here for RW dinner, and let me tell you they have customers for life. As soon as we entered the manager was so kind, greeted us took us to our table and checked in on us all night ! We were promptly attended to, our server was a pleasure and even suggested the Rose sangria to me once i explained what i wanted to drink. We had the bruschetta, calamari and rice balls to begin, all excellent. Bruschetta was the fave and then for entree, chicken parm, fettuccine with pesto and shrimp and the salmon. The fettuccine was life changing and will sit on my heart FOREVA you hear me. Dessert were also delicious, tiramisu, cannoli and chocolate lava cake. I loveeee discovering hidden gems in the BK and this is definitely one of them read more

Nick was my server. Excellent taste in wine, was able to give me a suggestion for a bottle to take home and wasn't overbearing when it came time to check on me. Some servers are non existent and others are asking questions every two minutes. Nice to come in, enjoy a good meal and a couple glasses of wine with just the right care. Good vibe here read more

Went to Botte Brooklyn on Saturday at 1:00 pm. As my friend and I were leaving he asked for a menu to take home with him. The host gave him the regular menu (from which we had ordered) and also a weekend brunch menu. Our waiter never told or showed us that there was a brunch menu at all! Inexcusable and lazy. read more

I went for pizza and found out the Geloto was was awesome. You go to a pizza place and then get gelato. They had vanilla and watermelon, it was so good. I got some for my daughter, I tasted it, and one of my self them one of my sons wanted some as well. Bernadette was making them and having a great time. Great Vibe here If you come to Brooklyn and you want great pizza, you need to try this place. This place is absolutely awesome.

A manager approached us and informed us that outside food was not permitted, even though purchases had been made. We were then asked to leave and eat outside in the hot weather. I understand that businesses have policies regarding outside food, and I respect the need to enforce them. However, I believe this situation could have been handled with greater compassion and understanding, given that the group consisted of individuals with disabilities who rely on packed lunches due to financial limitations. As someone who has consistently supported your establishment, I was disappointed by the lack of flexibility and empathy shown. Unfortunately, because of this experience, I will no longer be bringing my business or the individuals I support to your establishment. I hope this feedback encourages your management team to consider a more accommodating approach when serving members of the disability community in the future.
