    Took a bit of a wait but the varied slices were well worth it; the fig and bacon was a great contrast in sweet and savory flavors, while the tartufo had strong truffle notes that wasn't overpowering. The burrata was simpler but still had gooey accents. Overall they were thin and not overly filling.

    Be prepared to wait for quite some time for this pizza but also know that it is really good pizza. Once you get inside, you order at the counter and try to find a place to sit/stand to wait for/eat your pizza. It will be very crowded but don't give up. There is also a bathroom! My friend and I got the burrata ($5.75), fig jam & bacon ($6.25), l'industrie ($7.50), and white ($4.25). Literally every single slice was fantastic. I don't think you can go wrong with picking any slice off the menu. Definitely worth at least one try!

    Ok so we arrived at 11:20 and we were the first ones online. 20 minutes later this place had a serious line. Staff was friendly and answered all my questions! Inside is standing only if you choose to eat there. It feels like a pizza shop but they were blasting some club music which was a little odd but I guess the kitchen staff like it, I got the margarita slice, the le industrie slice and the burrata slice. All good, the crust is very thin and well cooked if you like that style. I'm glad we tried it!

    Stopped by L'Industrie Pizza for a quick bite before they opened so we could beat the line (nobody really was there until 10 minutes prior to opening). Highly recommend! Burrata: $5.50 Fig jam & bacon: $6 (my favorite!) NY slice: $5.50 White pizza: $3.50 (tomato slices require a minimum of 2) Everything was very delicious, with high-quality ingredients and fast service despite a long-ish line. Space is tight, so it's more of a grab-and-go or quick stand-to-eat option.

    Super great location here! Lots of standing tables to enjoy pizza. They have a killer and spicy chili oil but super yummy eats here. Food came out in a timely manner before the rush and even got to enjoy our frozen treats after which was just what we needed. I look forward to coming back to this location specifically! The space overall is great and grand.

    Today was the day I finally made my pilgrimage to the OG location of L'Industrie. Got there just before noon before the line began forming and I was the fourth on line to order. The place exuded a great vibe that really made it stand out. I ordered the white slice and tartufo slice. Both came within a few minutes and I was blown away by the texture and taste of both the toppings and the dough itself. The slices were well balanced and due to the fermentation was easy on the stomach and I ended up ordering a third slice before I left. This pizzeria really earns the accolades it has gotten from many people and groups like Top50 Pizza which named it the number one slice shop in the US two years in a row. This pizzeria is easily on my top 10 list for sure and it is the worth the trek. To the crew at L'Industrie, keep on making excellent pizza and be back again soon and hope to visit the West Village and Little Italy spots soon!

    Coming here earlier in the morning side steps the rush :) pretty casual mostly standing spots, you can request a side of hot honey. Is it worth the hype? Yes its a place u must try, but purely for the quality of pizza. While when I personally did not taste much differences in the flavors except for the fig bacon and jam (which has a delicious sweet caramely flavour), i appreciate how the cheese isnt too pungent/overpowering. The crust is that thin crunch and chewy, perfect base not soggy. The olive oil cake is on the dry crumbly side rather than moist but has a rich olive oil flavor. Overall i would come back here for a magherita pizza where this place shines more in high quality ingredients of the pizza than flavor variety.

    If you're looking for an NYC, this is the stop. I got the burrata slice and it was crispy, cheesy, and had a nice tart tomato sauce. Slices are around $6 and the service is incredibly fast. Great place to stop by for a snack!

    I came on a Tuesday afternoon - no line, ordered quickly, and got my food in 5 minutes. The service was quick and the staff was nice. The pizza slices were huge! Both the burrata and the fig jam and bacon were delicious. Lots of standing room, clean, and loud, lively music. Would definitely go back next time I'm in the area.

    This is the best pizza I've ever had. Definitely worth the effort and time. This pizza place has been in my Instagram feed for a while and I made a special trip from Philly on President's day with the hope that the line would not be crazy. I arrived there around 11:25 and there was a group of 4 ahead of me. I was ready to wait in the cold for some time by wearing layers of warm clothes. The staff was handing out the menu so the customers could make their selections prior to entering the store. I placed my order with the staff who was holding a tablet. She was efficient and nice. I ordered a soft serve. I wanted to pick it up after I finished my pizza so she said to look for her to get my soft serve. It is not a sit down pizzeria. There are high tables in the middle and along the wall to eat while standing. My pizza came fast. I got the burrata, burrata with prosciutto, fig jam and bacon. They are incredible. The crust is so thin and crispy. The burrata is so creamy. Fig jam and bacon is a perfect combination of sweet and salty. Three slices don't feel too heavy because they are so thin. Surely worth the wait in the cold. I got soft serve of hazelnut and pistachios. You can definitely taste the hazelnut but not the pistachio. The soft serve is drizzled with olive oil.

I cooked the pizza at 480 degrees in an electric pizza oven for 10 minutes, and the result was very good. I added a drizzle of hot honey, and it was spectacular (okay, I also added some fresh picked jalapeños as well). The pizza was hot and melted in the center, and the crust was very crisp, but still had some chew. Wow. This was the best frozen pizza I have had. Bar none. New York, you spoiled me when it came to pizza. Now I can get a taste of New York at home. Great job! I may or may not eat the last 3 pieces currently sitting in the fridge before bed.

He would pull the pans with his bear hand out of the oven and generously drizzle olive oil from a rustic copper container over every pie. He would then meticulously inspect the dough for bubbles. Then pop back in the oven for the imported olive oil to permeate and create a beautiful glistening coat. And once cooked he would then graciously cut basil on top of the pie. Dom has now passed but his legacy continues. I've always compared the then pie vs now. And like most things,, nothing beats the original. This is still a very good slice. I once rated them as the best in NYC. Unfortunately, its not at the very top but still on the podium. Coming back feels like you are saying hello to an old friend. If you haven't been, you have to try at least once.

Also- the Spumoni- it keeps at a nice consistency in the freezer, unlike rubbish American ice cream- which gets like a rock. The only other Spumoni I buy is from Corona. They're both phenomenal in their respective rights. When asked by non-NY'ers which pizza is my favourite- this is number one for Sicilian- not heavy at all. The crust is light, airy, and flavourful. The cheese to sauce ratio is perfect- not swimming in greasy cheap cheese. I have the same standards for Neapolitan Pizza. We can discuss that elsewhere. Please never close shop- at least let's celebrate the centenary!

The atmosphere leans old-school Italian, which adds to the charm and character. Service was fine--nothing remarkable, but no major issues either. That said, my overall rating takes a big hit solely for the restaurants ridiculous tipping policy choices rather than the food itself. The automatic 20% gratuity added to the bill was frustrating. The menu does indicate that 18%, will automatically apply, or will be 20% for parties of six or more. We were only three people, so it felt inconsistent and unnecessary. On top of that, the added cost for credit card usage didn't help. I don't mind tipping for good service! In fact, I tip well--but I prefer having the choice and I'm old school so it's the principle of the matter. Being forced into it, takes away from an otherwise enjoyable meal. Bottom line: the food is strong and worth trying, but the billing practices leave a bad taste. If those were adjusted, this could easily be a higher-rated experience.
