I really liked this place! The restaurant is huge inside and outside open space. So nice and you can enjoy some summer time with big tv screens. However, the mid-day menu and after 5pm dinner menu is a huge difference- You just be aware of it! I honestly have been really recommend this place but they change the menu often. Last time they omitted cheese plates which was so sad because was so good with salami's and wines. They often switch it for seasonal reasons. I wish they can bring some mushroom pizza!
had some crazy pizzas in there. The clam joint was bussin . Ambiance was low light clean vibes. Service was on super point, can't remember the servers name but he's the tall dude w/ the long black hair. forgive me
I love Roberta's. This was my first time eating and hanging out in their beer garden- it's way bigger than I anticipated. Fire Oven Pizzas delicious Italian food and nice cocktails :) This event was a lot of fun Grillo's Pickles had a live band and a skateboarding competition earlier in the afternoon. We got to try the Pickle Beer Service at Roberta's is always good and fine- nothing to write home about and nothing egregious
I came to Roberta's for a line dance night and could not have had a better time. There is so much space outside to dance and as the night settled in, the string lights brought an intimate ambiance. The pizza was also fantastic. Sorry NYC but I prefer this Neapolitan style pizza with the chewy crust over the NYC crispy bottom slices. Despite the heavy crowd from the event, the service was quick. Had a great time and look forward to the next event
As someone who first went to Roberta's years ago when it was in the prime of its hype and just went again recently... honestly, I think it lives up to the hype. Now that the craze has died down, it's easy to get a table and have a great meal. Our server was friendly and conversational, and food came out at a good pace. Absolutely loved the focaccia. The carbonara was really delicious, and so was the waingro pizza. Left feeling satisfied! Since you can get Roberta's online now, at the supermarket, etc. it maybe doesn't have the same spark, but I still feel like it's a worthwhile and consistent experience.
Very cute pizza place! They have benches set up where you will share with another small group but honestly was a good time! It's hip and a great date place. The service is nice and friendly. Unlike other NYC places, they don't rush you. They also have a tiki bar next door decorated for Christmas which was cool. Now the food was great! The sour dough and Stracciatella are the stars! First you HAVE TO order the Stracciatella. It melts in your mouth and made both the loaf and pizza taste better! The sour dough pizza was excellent! I wish the fiore had the tomato sauce since it could be a little dry to the mouth but you can tell the dough and cheeses are homemade. It felt lighter on the stomach and between the vibes, food, and service I'd easily come back!
Had to try this neighborhood pizza spot while I was in Brooklyn yesterday. The vibe in here is really chill. The service was outstanding, everyone was incredibly friendly and efficient. I had my food within 15 minutes of ordering. Speaking of- I ordered the famous original and a cocktail the Julio something...damn my memory . They were both delicious though! I also ordered a mezcal Negroni (not pictured) which was also delightful. The pizza flavor was out of this world. I think they're serious about the NY water, it's just a superior taste. Love the thin crust underneath the cheese and the tomatoey flavor with the garlic. All in all I had a great experience here, I just went yesterday and I'm already thinking of my next trip back! Really good pizza, okay service. Let's start with the pizza! We ordered a guanciale and egg pizza - the guanciale was good (albeit maybe a bit tough to bite through the size of the pieces) and we liked the cheese blend they used. Flavor of the crust was solid too. Not much structural integrity to the pie, though to be fair I wasn't expecting that here. Pretty sure that they had forgotten to put our pizza order in though, because other tables that arrived after us received their pizzas before we did, and when we asked, we were told "They just put it in the oven." Also, they'd gotten our drink order incorrect. All in all, solid pizza, but not sure if I'm rushing back.
It's been so long since I went to Roberta's, and its pizza has stood the test of time. The crust is perfect with a sourdough tang and the tomato sauce has a deep tomato taste. It's a little pricy and they now have fairly basic pizzas on the menu with the options to add various toppings to them. Meat toppings are five bucks and I think the veg ones were 3 dollars it's easy to rack the bill up. I didn't think the add on was worth the cost as I had very little sausage for $5 and the basic pizza was tasty enough already. It used to be hard to get a table but we came midweek at around 1.30 and walked straight in, our server was friendly but we do have to wait a while for the bill. I'm giving it 5 stars because the pizza really is iconic, I'd stop by again when I'm in the neighborhood but probably wouldn't make a special trip out here. PS the pizza here is way better than in the Williamsburg Domino Park branch.
Roberta's is a somewhat popular pizza place in Bushwick, Brooklyn. They are known for their wood oven style and for the place having a hipster design. For example, the outside of the place is purposely covered in graffiti. I went for the Margherita pizza so I could have a standard one to compare with other pizzerias. One of their popular flavors is the Bee Sting which has chili and honey. In terms of their pizza, the pies are not that big and can be easily eaten by one person (or shared by two with a smaller appetite). The pizza was also just okay for me. They have Neapolitan style pizza. Therefore, the pizza was very light on the cheese and sauce and was mostly just crust. Some people may enjoy this more than me, but it was just okay for my tastes.
Great service. Quite a big menu---than what I expected. People are very nice and everything is very low key. Bee sting has pepperoni and hot honey and is my version of a salted caramel cookie but in a pizza form. We added jalapeños on it so don't worry if you are afraid it being spicy
Fantastic experience! My kids officially ranked the burgers in their top 10, which says a lot because they take burger ratings very seriously . The real game changer was the pizza oven. You can absolutely taste the difference. Fresh, flavorful, and worth it. Great food, great atmosphere, and a place we'd gladly come back to again!
I have been meaning to try Roberta's for sometime, but didn't get a chance to until recently when I was in the neighborhood. This place is such a vibe! When you walk in, you're immediately hit with their ambience, red lighting, and some of the most delicious smells. You can imagine. They ask that if your entire party is not here yet to sit at the bar in the back. I ended up doing so as I was waiting on someone and was greeted by the friendly bartender who showed me they are non-alcoholic options. I ordered One of the non-alcoholic drinks, which was probably one of the best ones. I've tried this month. The bar area itself was lively, and I very much enjoyed interacting with the guests seated around me. For an appetizer, I ordered a dish that looked seasonal, a chicken liver mousse pate that was served with deliciously crispy bread and tart cherry tomatoes. Once my friend arrived, everyone made room and we enjoyed the classic original pie. One thing I really want to note is that this pizza is perfect for a single person. You can obviously share it, but don't feel bad about indulging in an entire pie to yourself because this pizza is not greasy, and the dough leaves feeling nourished, rather than bloated. This pie comes served with a bottle of their spicy chili oil on the side and man the stuff is spicy. The staff at this place is polite, engaging, and thoughtful, and the food is just as fantastic. I can't wait to come back and try the rest of their menu as they have so many items aside from their delicious pies. What a great spot!

We decided on a late lunch early dinner Friend suggested this place, and I've come here a few times. We sit in the dining room out back and it's delightful. Order a nice margarita pie my friend the Bee sting. But first the vino, of course. The bartender Arty recommends the Sangiovese and my friend the rose, after I twist his little finger!! Ha It's delicious. Smooth and robust The pies come and they don't disappoint Made nice and just short of crispy. Next time lll ask for a little more crispy. Going inside again for a wine refill I meet two delightful young ladies, Murrie and Kaili We start up a lively conversation about my living in Rockaway and they ask to be invited out! Of course anytime. On the way out we bid them goodbye. But exchange contacts. What a great Sunday afternoon. read more
Great Neapolitan, soft and chewy pizza with unique toppings - there's something for everyone! For 4 people, we shared the Little Gem Salad (perfect starter: refreshing and crunchy) and each got our own pie - and left with 2 slices to go. My favorite was between the Fyre and Ice and Ursula's Parade - but all were delicious. There's plenty of seating - inside, atrium, and bar. Wow! I feel like I haven't been back here in ages but I feel like they keep renovating and making it more roomy for everyone to be able to enjoy their slices of pizza with friends and they're dog friendly as well! We went with two dogs and they're friendly to dogs so there's a spot where you can sit with them and it also has a cover and blocks the wind. In the event you do have dogs you'll need to order at the bar and they'll come bring it over to you. They did that and added in a huge bowl for us for the dogs to drink water. The wait time on a weekend isn't crazy and it's a super nice spot to just have beer and pizza. The large pitcher of beer is only 33 dollars and super worth it since it's all draft! We got the guinciale and egg pizza and the most famous- the bee sting. Absolutely heaven. I think the guinciale and egg is definitely became one of my faves at this rate and almost beating the bee sting. I definitely recommend on a brunch time. The pork is just so good on this one. I love the calm and relaxed environment Roberta's give their customers and love their pizza and will always come back. read more
Great personal pizzas whether you want to dine alone or with friends. We went for a birthday party, and the staff was nice enough to accommodate. We tried many different pizzas (Famous Original, Margherita, Bee Sting, Lupetto), and they were all good, but the one that was 1000% a must try is the Bee Sting! Stopped into Roberta's to sober up with my bestie, who's visiting NYC from Texas. We had just spent 3 hours getting sloshed at Happy Hour at another spot. The brick oven pizza at Roberta's was the remedy we needed. We ordered the Margherita pizza. It was sooo d*mn good! I'm not a lover of thin crust pizza but Roberta's gets it right. It was hot and crispy and fresh out of a flaming, brick oven. I hate that I didn't take a cheese pull, selfie. I'm currently into drizzling pizza with chili oil and Roberta's has their own, signature brand. The staff was really cool. I'd like to go back and try some of the other very tasty sounding menu items. A pasta and lobster dish is at the top of my list to try. read more

I've been to Roberta's a bunch of times and it never disappoints, but I want to give a special shoutout to the staff who always make the experience memorable. I ordered the pizza with ricotta, white sauce, and added mushrooms (delicious), and even though there was a delay with it coming out, Simone went above and beyond. She was so attentive, kind, and genuinely fun to talk to -- she really made the night feel special. Also huge thanks to Blair, who has helped me and my boyfriend out on Valentine's Day and other visits to snag a table. Between the incredible food and the amazing team, Roberta's is one of those places you always want to come back to. read more

One of my favorite spots in New York. No frills seating, beer from the best breweries like Grimms, and excellent thin crust pizza. My personal favorites are the Guanciale with Egg and the Bee Sting with honorary mention for White Guy. They have no bad food so you truly can't go wrong. Sit outside if you can, the table decor is cool. read more

4/5 stars because they don't serve Four Emperors anymore, and when I do call to ask they don't answer. Back in 2024 while pregnant I really craved 4 emperors pizza but they never picked up my call when I called to ask if it was available, I cried that day lol I really love that pizza. But last time I was there 2/3 years ago the pizza was still amazing!!! read more

The pizza and meatballs were delicious. The atmosphere feels like a hole in the wall pizza place. The hostess decided to seat us at a strange spot with the most uncomfortable wooden stool I've ever sat on and a small little board as a table even though there were several open tables the entire time we were there. Don't sit at the " high top by the bar". Definitely get the meatballs and the bee sting. read more

Roberta's was one of my favorite pizza spots when I lived in NY. When visiting NY, I had to come back. I made dinner reservations, which I highly recommend because it gets busy and the wait can be long. The interior of Roberta's is dimly lit with colorful string lights hanging on the ceiling. The music is louder and creates a less formal dining vibe. We were seated immediately upon arriving. We ordered 3 different pizzas and it took about an hour to get the pizzas. It would have been nice to get a heads up that the pizza would take so long. We felt like we were waiting for a long time. The pizza was delicious. Their famous bee sting pizza has a sweet and spicy flavor combo. Their famous original pizza was like a margherita pizza but with more cheese. I loved the 3 cheese flavor. We also tried the speckenwolf pizza that had mushrooms, red onions, and speck. This one was my least favorite of the 3. The pizza crust is fresh and thin with a thicker outer crust. Some parts are a little burnt with the wood fired flavor. Overall, I enjoyed the pizza at Roberta's! read more

I ordered delivery from here. They were out of garlic knots and made no attempt to make up for it so I had to contact the delivery service for a refund. I enjoyed the Cheesus Christ pizza. The various cheeses had rich, sharp flavor. The base was nicely charred with a soft crust. Their chili oil was barely spicy. read more

We've been coming here for years and have loved it but tonight was truly astounding. There are three entrances and zero information or signs that explain why and which one is for what. I watched many people walk out because they were confused. We should have left... The ordering for the outside was not intuitive at all. You can order food, but no drinks, even though there's a bar right there. The water container was empty. Our food took 45 minutes, which is fine. We don't mind waiting. What I do mind is the fact that our pizza was somehow undercooked and burnt at the same time. Remarkable! And my $19 salad was about $1.50 of lettuce with no where near the amount of toppings it required. Dry and ridiculous. It was about a fifth of what you would have gotten had we dined in and yes, there was plenty of room in that to go box. I was told there were utensils outside. That's fine but I had to ask someone else where they were because they were behind the bar. So was I supposed to go behind the bar?I mean come on. It was wholly unorganized, a terrible experience, and I felt like I was bothering anyone when I had a question. read more
