Definitely worth a visit if you're in the Williamsburg area. No matter which slice you get, each has that beautiful undercarriage with perfect cheese to sauce ratio. I'm SO glad we made a stop here for some post-drinking slices. I think of a classic New York City pizzeria, a place like this comes to mind. The interior has tons of stickers and eclectic decor, covering the small space. There is a table and a few booths, but not much else. The menu hangs above the cash register on piece of paper taped to two pizza trays, and slices are displayed as well. There are specialty slices, which seemed to rotate daily, and multiple vegan options, which is great. My partner and I had a pepperoni slice, a white slice, and a vegan pepperoni roll. As we were getting seated, we grabbed several of their multitude of toppings, including some pepper flakes, chili, oil, and nutritional yeast, which I was excited to discover they have. You can also add on toppings as you order like 20-month aged Parmesan and hot honey. Everything we got was amazing. This was the perfect crust, and as my boyfriend said, the pizza has no flop. Even though I do like a bit of flop, I could not agree more. My vegan pepperoni roll was a bit spicy and came cut in half. The dough was so good. Last stop! Set off the beaten path of Times Square... first customers of the day, the cheese slice was dripping and piping, pepperonis covered every part of the slice. Sauce was by far the best! Maybe my childhood fondness for Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (TMNT) prompted me to walk in, and I was glad to see they had pizzas you wouldn't ordinarily find elsewhere. I tried the Mexican corn pizza, which they nailed--it was as sweet and savory as the actual dish. For $6, it was a little pricey, but I shrugged it off because the slice was excellent. I'm still a TMNT fan, as much of the comic and media represents NYC's goofy and colorful culture with retro art. This pizzeria feels like an old-school spot with a new generation running it. Part of me felt like a teenager hanging out at a cozy hangout. It's clean, the music is a mix of '60s and '70s Motown, and the diversity of the clientele and staff is noticeable. Two large slices were $12, so I like to think I got my money's worth. - Elote Pizza: (4/5) While the pizza was delicious, I hoped for more of a "punch" in flavor. The Elote taste was rather subtle and, at times, tasted more like cheese pizza with corn on top. The addition of chili flakes helps, though! Regardless, I found the slice enjoyable, not too heavy/greasy, and I recommend that others try it. A safe but unique option. - KBBQ/Spicy Korean Pizza: (3.75/5): This was a brand new flavor, and where else am I going to find KBBQ-inspired pizza? So I bit the bullet and ordered it. Interestingly enough, this one had the opposite problem from the Elote pizza because it had a very STRONG flavor that was almost overwhelming. I don't remember the exact ingredients, but I recall a BBQ sauce drizzle and crispy onion flakes on top, which was a nice addition! There was a spicy kick as well. It was enjoyable for a bit, but I found the pizza to be borderline salty at times, so it's not something I'd order again. There was an evident KBBQ taste, however, which was fun! My husband and I went borough/brewery hopping (not driving, of course) and knew we had to stop here before heading over to Brooklyn Brewery. He got the pepperoni, and because I used to live in the RGV and have a soft spot in my heart for elote, I went with that since I have never tried it on pizza before. First off, the crust was FANTASTIC. It was perfectly crispy (but not overdone or in a hella crunchy, "is this going to break my teeth out?" kind of way), and had a nice, doughy "chew", even though it wasn't chewy OR doughy, if that makes sense. Also had a GREAT fold to it. I usually hand the end crust over to my husband because most of the time it gives me the feeling of gnawing on a bone. This crust is the opposite - like a bread stick without the weird flip mode texture. The pizza itself -- Pepperoni was the better of the two, in our opinion. The Elote was overall good, but (and this is me being somewhat of a Mexican street corn priss) it would have been better if the corn was 'charred' in a pan first and/or if they added a drizzle of lime crema (or even just offered a lime wedge or a shake of Tajin with each slice to bring out the flavor a bit more) BUT again, that's just me being nitpicky. It definitely satisfied our pizza craving. The staff is suuuuuper friendly and they accept credit cards. One final thing to note - we also tried Joe's on Carmine when we hit up Manhattan a few hours later and both agreed hands down that Vinnie's was the better of the 2 (Sorry Joe's!) read more

Also, there was no inside dining (at least not in 2022), just a couple of small tables outside, so no washrooms (therefore nowhere to wash your hands). Fine if you just want a quick slice on the go and don't mind eating food with grubby hands, but not a comfortable dining experience. They do have a cool Teenaged Mutant Ninja Turtles bench though. Get the Cowboy Pizza! Came with some friends for a quick lunch. Two of my friends were vegan, which was great because they had a pretty good variety of vegan and vegetarian pizzas. I tried a bit of everyone's pizza but I personally ordered two slices, the Cowboy and Buffalo Chicken, for $12 and found the portions to be very filling. Overall I enjoyed the pizzas and would come again! - The Cowboy(4.5/5): This was by far my favorite slice. It's packed with so much flavor and has this incredible sauce that's creamy and smoky. It was also loaded with a generous amount of juicy meat and red peppers. The crust was also cooked perfectly, thin and crispy, very authentic to the New York style. - Buffalo Chicken Pizza (2/5): This pizza was just a bit lacking. I found the chicken to be very dry and even picked them off at one point. My friend did like it though and the sauce was good. - Other pizzas: my vegan friends really liked the Spare Ribs and Pineapple vegan pizza, but found the other two vegan pizza flavors that they ordered (buffalo chicken and eggplant parm) to be unpleasant. My other friend got the Elote pizza and a newer flavor that was inspired by KBBQ. I tried both of her's and liked them, especially the Elote pizza which had a nice sweet and salty flavor combination. - Service/ambiance: really good vibes here.
