This is a quick little walk from the Barclay Center. We stopped here for a casual lunch and it was nice and filling. The ambiance is cozy and peaceful. There wasn't many people sitting alongside us, but they do have decent indoor sitting. I tried the dish I was recommended and it did not disappoint. I would for sure come back here. They give you bread along with your pasta order and you can receive a cover if you have leftovers which is convenient as well.

A new pasta restaurant always makes me happy. Yes, I love carbs and my very favorite carb is, Pasta! My ultimate favorite comfort food. A casual setting, that feels like a real neighborhood spot. We have tried several of the pasta dishes and they were all really good. Homemade pasta with fresh ingredients and, perfectly cooked. My favorite so far is the spicy vodka rigatoni. Very flavorful, creamy and not too spicy. Loved the Geneva, a basil pistachio, parmesan and sun-dried tomato sauce with gemeli pasta. For starters, we enjoyed both the Roma Cesar and, the Italian arugula salad. So nice to have a new favorite neighborhood spot!

Psta is good. I came when I was in the mood for a quick carb load. I was greeted immediately upon arrival and assisted with the self service ordering. It's a cute restaurant. There is seating available for both indoor dining and outdoor seating in front of the restaurant. My meal was prepared fresh and cooked al dente exactly how I like it .The focaccia seemed fresh, I am not sure how often they make the bread, but it was great for soaking up my pasta sauce. The portion size is just about right. My only suggestion would be to include chili pepper flakes, garlic, and Parmesan cheese as add on for takeout orders.

Psta is a small unassuming pasta restaurant, but don't underestimate the quality of the dishes. As you enter there is one kiosk to place your order. There are probably ten small tables, and we were fortunate to grab one. Pasta is brought to the table. The pasta dishes start with a very reasonably priced base and you can add a protein, cheese, or other options. My daughter had the Napoli with mozzarella. The spice level was just right. I had the Pistachio Pesto topped with burrata. Each came with bread. The quality was so good and each dish is made when ordered, adding to the freshness. It has an open kitchen so you can see the chefs prepare the food. They have a lunch special , pasta, protein, salad and drink for under $20.

Newish casual pasta spot, small space so seating is limited. The concept is nice where you can build your own pasta and choose your sauce and toppings, although the ordering kiosk is more geared to getting you to choose their preset pastas. Staff was helpful and welcoming. The vodka rigatoni was good, flavorful. The gemelli pasta itself was good, but unevenly salted, so dine bites were quite salty and some under salted. Id gone back as a takeaway spot, probably won't eat in as much.

Best spot if you need a warm meal. Basically a customizable pasta spot. SHORTTTT wait time. Wish they put more than 3 pieces in my pasta but oh well.

I wanted to come here based on the rave reviews I was seeing. It's pretty similar to forma pasta. One of our pastas was really, really al dente. Personally not my preference. They have a loyalty card and there's a piece of focaccia that comes with the pasta. Relatively affordable for the area, there's also a decent amount of seating inside. Service is quick and friendly

A sleek, modern dining experience wrapped in bold red interiors that set the mood the moment you walk in. The ambiance is vibrant yet refined -- the kind of place that feels both trendy and welcoming. The star of the visit was undoubtedly the Shrimp Alfredo -- rich, creamy, and generously loaded with plump, well-seasoned shrimp. The pasta was cooked to a perfect consistency, and the sauce struck just the right balance between indulgent and light. A truly satisfying dish. PSTA knows what it's doing -- great food, great atmosphere. Definitely worth a visit if you're craving quality Italian-inspired comfort food with a modern twist.

Nice casual spot for a quick pasta fix. You order at a kiosk and the food comes out pretty fast. Everything's basically prepped, so they just assemble it for you. Definitely not gourmet, but still a solid choice if you want a good, quick pasta meal. The spicy vodka rigatoni and pesto are both great picks.

Overall, a solid fast casual pasta place. It's fairly small inside with about 12 tables but it wasn't busy so plenty of space for us. The Caesar dressing was great. I had the Napoli- the rigatoni was cooked perfectly Al dente. I found the sauce to be good, but it could have been more flavorful and a bit thicker. I added chicken and it was also cooked perfectly and a generous portion for only $4. The prices are very reasonable. They have a couple of wines to choose from and we enjoyed the montepulciano. I have to say, I'm not a fan of the cutlery. I find it hard to eat pasta and salad with the compostable cutlery. It would be nice if you are eating in to have silverware. Service was quick and staff was friendly. I'll be back to try another dish.

Solid new pasta spot! I tried the Napoli vodka sauce pasta and it was good. I do feel I could have gotten more vegetables, but it was still good. The service was nice, quick and friendly. The ambiance was nice and had several tables.

The sunchokes and apples are tossed in a creamy and slightly herbal dressing. Burrata - really great. The eggplant base is richly spiced and tart to complement the rich and creamy burrata. Gemelli - disappointing, and the only vegetarian option. The goat cheese totally overwhelms the dish, so you can't taste the pesto at all. The texture on the noodles was perfect at least. Passion project - delicious drink with notes of passion fruit, chocolate, and some spices. The others in my group also had the duck (which they found to be a bit overly loaded with duck fat) and the reginette (which they enjoyed). I'd love to see a more balanced vegetarian main course make it on the menu sometime. The bill for 4 people came to nearly $230 after tax and tip.

The room is small and romantic, homemade pasta hangs in the front window, and the whole evening felt less like dining out and more like being invited into someone's family table in Florence. We started with the fritto misto, a well executed mix of fried fish and vegetables, alongside an insalata caprese that let fresh tomatoes, burrata and basil speak for themselves. From there we went family style, which is really the only way to do it here. The bucatini cacio e pepe was as much performance as dish, mixed tableside directly in the cheese wheel. The fusilloni di Gragnano from Puglia paired scampi with burrata, cherry tomatoes and arugula for a bright, briny plate, while the tagliatelle verdi brought a rich wild boar ragu finished with fresh black truffle. The two standouts, though, were the agnolotti ossobuco with veal sauce and pecorino fondue rounded out with thyme and lemon, and the lasagna Bolognese. That lasagna, layered with meat ragu, tomato and bechamel, may be the best I have ever had. We paired the meal with a bottle of Salvioni 2022 Rosso di Montalcino, aromatic and beautifully matched to the food. The space is cozy and intimate rather than sprawling, so a reservation is a smart call. Everything else, from the food to the atmosphere to the sense that someone's nonna was cooking just for us, made this one of the most memorable meals in NYC. We would return without hesitation.

I can't say enough great things about the decor the ambience and imagining all of the past goings on in this restaurant. It's been watching over Brooklyn for well over 100 years now! That in itself is a Herculean feat! From what I was told it was very popular with the mob as they say... And that's why the kitchen which is at the very back of the restaurant has full glass windows so that you can see exactly what's going on in there. I guess some of these mob guys were paranoid and rightly so consider considering their history. I arrived with my friend on a Wednesday evening about 6 PM and there were some scattered tables but by 7 PM it was mobbed (pun intended ) in there!! our waiter was affable and patient and a quite enjoyable fellow. As a sidenote, you will not find any female servers they are all male which l lends to the old school vibe in my opinion. My friend ordered the lamb chops with broccoli Rabe. He enjoyed them but did mention that though they had great flavor one of them was slightly tough... It happens... My meal was pasta with Bolognese sauce with a dollop of fresh ricotta on top. It was delicious actually the sauce was excellent. I would've liked to have a different pasta shape but they did not have it. No biggie. I could really say the food was very good but it was not excellent but for me that was not an issue as I fell in love with the place itself. The service was excellent and the ambience was fantastic!
