Such a nice vibe in here! Husband and I grabbed a drink Tuesday night at the bar area. Food smelled delicious---great service. Super clean. We will for sure be coming back! Plenty of parking in the neighborhood by the park.

New restaurant - food was kinda mediocre and very expensive. $16 for 6 dumplings - considering the dumplings are not made from scratch- i suspect a lot of the bao and dumplings come straight from the freezer. Come if you to experience the fake Asian vibes, but be ready to pay a lot for mediocre food. The baos for sure were reheated from frozen - and definitely not made on site. Long story short take yourself to the freezer aisle of any Asian market and the quality is on par.

Did not know Bao Brewhouse just opened another location on Tennyson. Similar to the one on the 14th, the restaurant had a traditional Chinese theme with a menu of Chinese staples such as baos, dumplings, roujiamos, and skewers. The taste was more fusion than traditional, quite creative, adventurous but surprisingly tasty. The Shanghai smasher roujiamo combined the old fashion puffy roujiamo with fillings that had the resemblance of a juicy Smash Burger. Although it did not taste like the roujamo as I remembered, but nonetheless addictively tasty. The pork xiao long bao soup dumplings were quite authentic, the skin was thin and chewy, the filling was moist, tender and meaty, while the dumplings were filled with the signature savory broth. Overall quite enjoyable and had to try some other items next time.

The staff is over-the-top accommodating. the food is lights-out! Everything we tried was fresh, flavorful, and expertly prepared. I was a total knucklehead and made a classic "ding dong" mistake, ordering my takeout from the wrong location's website--I was supposed to use the Tennyson website location. Luckily, the amazing team there helped me navigate my error with patience and a smile, ensuring I still got my meal without a fuss. Appreciate the support. Huge thanks and appreciation to the crew for their incredible food and their amazing help.

We ordered a little of everything and my favorites were the Pork Xiao Long Bao dumplings( a staple) and the spicy Yakisoba noodles. The ambience is great and the restaurant is kept clean. The team is attentive and courteous. I didn't try the drinks but the bar looks fully stocked.

While we ended up getting different drinks, I have no doubt the espresso martini is yummy. My husband went for the Old Fashioned and I opted for As the Crow Flies - both were very tasty. Not cheap though - about $14 a pop. They had a wide beer selection and a few NA options, which I'm looking forward to trying as they sounded good. The bartender was friendly and skilled. We ended up sitting inside because it was a bit too hot for us, but others were on the patio and it did have ample seating and shade; will likely be lovely in a few weeks. The decor inside was clean with comfortable seating and a variety of bar seats and low tables. They also had virtual golf - an interesting mix. My one complaint is the amount of televisions. It had the amount I'd expect at a sports bar but way above sports bar prices. They could get away with removing 1-2 and still catering to the same crowd while appealing to those (like me) who don't want to have to sit in a corner and strategically place the chairs just to not have to look at a screen.

That's when I came across Dearly Departed and I'm so glad I did. We arrived right when they opened at 5pm and were able to walk in and be seated immediately. The speakeasy is tucked into the underground portion of the restaurant, which adds to the charm. The space is beautifully decorated, moody, intimate, and effortlessly upscale. It truly sets the tone the moment you walk down. We ordered two spritzes and a charcuterie board, and both exceeded expectations. The drinks were refreshing, perfectly balanced, and felt elevated without being overcomplicated. But the real star was the charcuterie board. For $20, it was an incredible value, stacked with a variety of meats, cheeses, fresh veggies, nuts, and peppers. The freshly grilled bread was a standout touch, and the portions were more than generous. Every bite felt thoughtfully curated, and there was something new and delicious in every corner of the board. Between the ambiance, the quality of the drinks, and the impressive food, Dearly Departed delivered an experience that felt both cozy and refined. I'd absolutely recommend checking it out for the atmosphere alone. I'm already looking forward to going back and trying more from their menu.

Cozy spot for some classy bites and cocktails. I think I probably got off on the wrong foot when I asked for sparkling water instead of flat and found out it was $7 per personal mini bottle (and they don't have club soda). My first time encountering that in Denver in the last 14 years... The cocktail concept is cool: pick a classic, slightly updated, or super creative version from 5 categories (martini, old fashioned, sour, spritz, highball). The spicy mango sour (with mezcal) was awesome -- although I expected egg white on a sour. The martinis were ok... a bit of a let-down in today's collection of Denver martinis at other local spots (think anchovy, sour cream and onion, holy trinity, and old bay). The food was also hit or miss. We loved the cauliflower/potato Bravas with the slightly spicy sauce, as well as the croquettes and their sauce. The tuna crudo was super bland, which is disappointing for $19.

Found this location listed in the Michelin guide and thought... let's try it out? On the third story it's not your average restaurant set up... we were seated next to the kitchen where we got to see the magic! Johny was our waiter who was absolutely killing it! He and his whole staff were engaged, checking in, and even the chefs were bringing us our plates right to our table! Absolutely just one of the best experiences as we order the "Walk With Us" for 2. Walk with us: 5/5 Banchan style servings or tapas as I'm so used to... are ways of giving you the chefs vision of a story they want to paint with food. A taste so unique that I will say... only gets better as you keep going down this experience. Starters throughout the experience have so much flavor and textures that complement each other. The entrees... they get so much better.... Short rib Wagyu galbi that's so scrumptious and a Korean fried chicken that's crispy as can be with a perfectly cooked chicken through and through that's moist and just the perfect definition of a k-fried chicken! I would say my top 3 favorite bites would be: 1. Shaken rice 2. Oyster mushrooms 3. Entree meet: (chicken & beef) tied The chef who brought us the shaken rice explained the meaning behind the dish and what was in it... the back story is so wholesome and unique that it leaves you heartfelt and just happy to be sharing this experience. The oyster mushrooms have so much flavor... you would need to have them because. They mimic beef so well and they have been seasoned to perfection! Entrees.... Yes! They're that good! They will be a challenge to eat because everything else around you is also super good!!! The only thing I wish I would have tried would have been the milk rolls as they looked so good.... Also, he aware that there is a service charge for the walk with us as it is a full show and display of food. We were seated early and the music was deafening already. Just blasting out of multiple speakers.
