Denver Foodies, are you craving happy hour deals? Capri Seafood Bar has their "Capri Hour" (Mon-Thurs 12pm-7pm). Upon arrival at Capri Seafood, we were transported to a lively & eclectic, ocean-core bar. The aesthetic embraced vibrant colors & marine life - there was a focus on deep blues, greens, & shimmering scales at the bar. Staff Michelle, Ashley, & Diego took great care of us. The happy hour menu was extensive, and they led us through their offerings. Diego was kind, attentive and made sure we had everything we needed while we dined. Here's the Capri Hour lowdown: The Margaritas were only $5.99. We tried the Strawberry & Mango - vibrant colors & delicious taste. I would order both of these again. From the regular menu, they had a selection of craft cocktails with impressive presentation. The Happy Hour Tacos were only $3.99 and we had the choice of Battered Fish, Skirt Steak, Chicken, Shrimp, Octopus, or Potato. Our favorite tacos were the Battered Fish. The battered fish had a crispy, golden-brown exterior & the inside was tender and flaky. The fish paired perfectly with the spicy aioli. The Tostadas were $4.99. The Shrimp Aguachile was a hit - fresh with zing. Shrimp Quesadilla & other specialties were only $3.99. From their regular menu, we tried the overflowing Molcajete loaded with meat & seafood - perfect for sharing. For dessert, we had vanilla ice cream atop fresh cornbread.

If you're on the hunt to try a new spot that is hip, modern, and has fresh food, Capris Seafood is where you need to be! The ambiance is a cool, contemporary vibe. But what really steals the show here is the food. It's fresh, packed with great flavors, and has that creative twist that sets it apart from your typical seafood joint. The ceviche tostada--it's an absolute must-try. The balance of tangy and fresh is on point, with just the right amount of crunch from the tostada. Also recommend the fish taco--simple, but incredibly delicious. And for those looking to share, the mixed fajitas are a winner. Our waitress was a total gem--sweet, and friendly.

I am happy to report this new spot right off of I25 and 38th (Fox St) is an amazing addition to the Denver food scene! Everything we had was delicious! The seafood tower wasn't what we expected, but it ended up being like a ceviche and was absolutely amazing! I definitely recommend trying this spot out!

We absolutely loved our experience here! First we came for just drinks, then we finally made it back for dinner tonight. Where do I begin.... First when you walk in everyone is so kind, and the aesthetic is so cute! Our drinks were incredible, ordered a Sandi Breeze and just a house margarita. We then started with sushi, which let me tell you.... Don't pass it up. It's not your traditional sushi, but it was amazing! We tried the Rocka Sushi! And for our entrees we all were apart of the clean plate club!! Black as night pasta, ruby salmon a burrata salad and some popcorn shrimp! Will definitely be returning and would recommend this spot to anyone!!

The food here is amazing. We've been waiting all summer for this place to open. It was worth the wait. Atmosphere is incredible. Service was excellent. And the, to die for. Our favorite appetizers were the crab rolls and fried tuna. They were so good. The seafood tower was huge and don't skip the gobernator tacos are a must have. Our big surprise was the steak. Cooked perfectly and worth every penny. We'll be back and we're bringing more friends.

I think this is the son of Mr. Valente now who runs the shop. He was so nice to work with and always make the best recommendations. Came by to pick up some homemade sausage, frozen tortellini, and mascarpone. You could get a combo now with a soda of your choice and some chips. I love that they have craft Colorado sodas as selection made with real cane sugar. The deli is clean and always feels well stocked for all the essentials. They have amazing selection of various types of cheesecake, I didn't even notice they had cookies before but ended up getting a couple cookies for dessert to pair with my homecooked sausage and peppers pasta. Make sure you get your punch card if you're getting the canolis, the sausage canolis have a special place in my heart.

Not bad, but it didn't knock my socks off like other little Italian deli's around town can and do. The big flop was the service. I was unsure where to wait to order my sandwich so I waited by the case. While there were numerous employees working behind the counter, and zero other customers in the store, nobody greeted me for an awkwardly long amount of time. Maybe 5 actual minutes passed with me standing there and multiple employees working and even looking at me and never saying anything. Finally someone asked if I needed help. Yes, I want to order a sandwich. I put in my order, and it took about 10 minutes to make the sandwich. Understandable as the meat was sliced to order, which was great. In that time, another person came into the store, grabbed a few items, and stood at the register for that same full ten minutes I waited for my sandwich. Numerous employees working around, one even said hi to her, and nobody asked to help her. I was then asked a second time if I needed help and said I was waiting for my food. The other customer, still ignored. It was awkward for both of us. Finally, when my sandwich was done, they rang me out before she was rung out, and a second employee came to ring her out, and employee who walked past her numerous times while we stood there. Just a very strange customer service experience. They have a lot of room to improve in this area. On the plus side, during my long wait I was able to get photos of the grocery area and their cases and fridges. Lots of selection on the grocery side.

We had the Taylor ham, egg, and cheese, the sloppy gnome, the patty melt, eggplant parm, the Cuban, and great fries. We shared, and everyone was thrilled with the flavors and textures. I was so happy my friends enjoyed Jersey food as much as I do! We all loved the atmosphere, and the seating is plentiful inside and out. The parking is wonderful since they have their own lot! I have to add that we asked to speak to the owner, Ken. We were told he is not really a talker. To our surprise, Ken came over and was terrific! He told us the story of his dad starting at 4 am every day to begin the prep for the Taylor ham, egg, and cheese sandwiches for all the Jersey trades workers and other patrons. This is a strong part of the NJ culture. Ken told us the story of how he got connected to gnomes (ask him to see the tats). Ken shared his favorite Jersey food and how he got to Colorado. Great stories that should be on the website! Ken also spoke extremely highly of the brew master. Since I am not a beer drinker, I have no recommendations. This is a fun place to visit! We drove 40 minutes to get there, and we all want to return soon. Thanks, Ken and your talented staff!

They simply Do Not care about general food safety getting a hot meal here is rather risky I will explain why. My friend was a cook here for a short while and quit on them once he realized they care nothing about serving food that is safe to eat, he saw them do sooo many things that would easily make the food contaminated and unsafe to eat and somehow that was there process of doing things. Here are a couple examples of menu items one should try to steer clear of Chicken parm sandwich- they cook off a large batch of the chicken cutlets and let them sit at room temp for a hour or two until someone orders one they refries them for a minute or so, your supposed to keep food hot once it is cooked especially chicken to leave cooked chicken at room temp for so long is extremely risky to the public's health. Meatball sandwich- they leave there meatballs on the hot line all day then they save all of the hot food items from the day and reuse them the next day without properly cooling any of the food and the cooks will leave these item sit out at room temp for about 45 mins before even putting them into the cooler. Many issues with this practice first of all hot food should be discarded after 5 hours according to the health department because after 5 hours it will start growing bacteria, to leave it on a hot line all day then save them for the next day and not even cool them down properly is Crazy risky to people's health and they do not just do this with the meatballs they do it for many of there hot dishes they are used for days on in, not properly cooled and not properly tracked for how many times it has been reheated and such me they keep them in the same pans it's flat out gross. Other issues my friend encountered there was never seeing anyone at all wash there hands at any point in time, a ancient dishwashing machine that didn't clean anything at all it didn't even get hot so half of there dishes are greasy and have food residue on them, in his short time there he saw people fired for no reason what's so ever from what he was told the owner fires people left and right and doesn't even give reasons as to why, that's why they have ads up on indeed looking for employees 24/7.

I ultimately went with 4 since the sandwiches were great and it's always been great in the past. My best friend and I ordered two bagels and two drinks to split. For the bagels, we got the Bacon Sun City, which is always a favorite, the hot honey adds the perfect touch. For the second bagel, we ordered the Grandezza, which was delicious. I love anything with pesto, and the mozzarella was perfectly melted. For drinks, we ordered an iced Very Cherry Matcha Latte with oat milk and a Honey Lavender Latte (hot). Unfortunately, once we left, we realized the cherry matcha was made as a coffee drink instead of matcha. We were pretty disappointed since we planned to split one matcha and one coffee. The cherry flavor was good, but I would've loved to try it as we ordered it. For the lavender honey latte, we could taste the lavender, but it didn't seem like any honey or sweetener was added. It ended up tasting extremely strong and not sweet at all, so we didn't really drink it. Overall, the bagels were amazing, but I wish there had been more attention to detail with the drinks.
