The last few times we've visited, the bartenders have been so noticeably unwelcoming that we left feeling like we were more of a burden than customers they wanted there. We're not particularly loud or obnoxious people, we're respectful, and we've consistently tipped well. What really stood out during our most recent visit was that we actually asked the bartender if we had done something wrong because of how unwelcome we were feeling. Rather than reassuring us, he implied that we needed to leave already -- even though we had only been there for about 15 minutes. He told us, and I quote, "We are a bike bar, and so people come in, have a drink and leave." I've been going here since they had scorpion shots. It's not a bike bar. Honestly, it was incredibly weird. We weren't lingering for hours, taking up space, or behaving inappropriately. When you've been coming somewhere for a decade, have always been respectful, and have consistently supported the business, it's incredibly disappointing to suddenly feel like your presence is an inconvenience. It sucks. This is a place I genuinely have some of the best memories because of the vibe. I hope this is just a temporary change, because I'd genuinely love to feel the way I used to about this place.
