We started out stopping in for lunch and finding out that you need reservations for many of the tables. We were put in the sun outside on a 90 degree day. We asked to get a table that didn't have so much sun. We were told all the tables inside and out that were empty were for reservations only. We took a community table with partial shade. We ordered our drinks first. My daughter and I decided on the Sarti Spritz $16 ea. It had a good flavor; however, our glasses were 3/4 full with ice that you never got much of the drink. Since the water they serve in a pitcher at the table was warm with no ice; I filled my spritz glass twice with water to make it cold. The food presentation was good. My son had a pepperoni pizza, we shared the loaded pork chips, and had a barata dip. There is not much pork on the chip pile you get. Absolutely rude, gross, archaic behavior here in full view with my kids being upset watching it unfold right in front of them, watching their dad be discriminated against over beautiful artwork. This was our first time visiting Happy Camper. We heard great things about it and wanted to give it a try for our Father's Day celebration with family. We absolutely loved the place and had a great time. We were even able to watch the World Cup soccer game while enjoying our meal...very Fun!!! The food was delicious, especially the corn dip, which was a favorite at our table, the drinks were so refreshing as well. We would definitely recommend it especially to big groups or if you want to watch the game while eating. We had only one issue we experienced with our server. He was nice an welcoming, but when he brought us the takeout boxes and then the check, he seemed to be in a rush and tossed them onto the table rather than placing them down. One of the boxes actually fell off the table, and we had to catch it. Although the place was not very busy at the time, the interaction felt rushed and made one member of my family uncomfortable. This was our last stop on our Denver trip after I saw the crunchy chicken Caesar wrap on TikTok! There is free parking on the street, just make sure you watch the signs carefully! This was my first time here. I came with my family and we decided to come during Happy Hour. Parking is on the street. We were able to find a spot just a block away. I don't even know how to describe this place other than saying it's appropriately named and there's not a thing I would add or take away from the decor or experience. I definitely felt like I'd spent the evening as a "happy camper." From the outside, the place has a glow and just seems loud. It's large. It takes over the entire intersection, though Avanti, the food court and bar with its two stories, towers across the street. It's just an electric energy that pulses from Happy Camper and its patrons. During the summer, the chill patio is hopping. During the winter, it's a warm shelter of neon, sparkle and a cool campfire. These pics are from a Wednesday evening, stopping in for dinner. We had our IDs checked at the door then walked through an arcade of fairy lights to get a table in the back, near the bar. Our server was a complete delight! She was well informed with the menu, helped me pick something that wasn't pizza to eat and guided my friend through a sampling of specialty cocktails while I sipped on my Diet Coke that she didn't let go empty. The wrap was terrific, fries with melted cheese were mouthwatering... honestly surprised I couldn't finish them but it was so filling. Absolute gem of a place and a must see when visiting Denver! Coming from LA, a bar like this would have the longest line just to get in. The wait for a table was about a half hour, but the bar was open and there was lots of things to check out we waited. Disclaimer: we came during an event. I coincidentally visited on Taylor Swift night and was thoroughly impressed by the Halloween/Taylor Swift decor. They had a live DJ, small businesses, and a friendship bracelet making table. The amount of detail and care the staff put into this place is phenomenal. The pumpkin spice espresso martini was amazing and I honestly wish I asked for the recipe. The elote dip was delicious and a great size for sharing. The Big Ass Lemonade was a hit with my group as it is the best bang for your buck. It was quite strong, but a good time! I can see why people rave about the vibe here. The lighting and theme are great. And we visited during the holidays, so the place was decked out for Christmas. There are so many places to take pictures. The vibe is also heavily influenced by the staff- and especially our waiter with his chill self proclaimed hakuna matata attitude and "HAPPY" t-shirt. Half of our table ordered brunch and the other half ordered off of the regular menu. I ordered a breakfast burrito and it was mediocre. The street corn pizza, though was awesome. This one might be a little rough, but honest. Let me start by saying the wait staff (Conner) and the Manager on shift were very helpful and attentive. Never came, I was done with my burger (what I could handle) and my wife done with her Avocado Toast, still no pizza. We told Conner to just put the pizza in a to-go box. Finally at some point, well after being there an hour, Conner tells us again that the pizza is on the way out. Some kid bring out the pizza box out and when he did not have enough room to set it on the table, dropped it on the damn bench next to my sister. She was pissed. She works in the hospitality business and she was beside herself. Then she opened the box. OMG, it was fricking disgusting! It looked just AWEFUL! And guess how much it was on the tab, $34! (see the picture on this review!) After some discussion with Conner, and the shift manager, they took the pizza off the ticket and left the pizza to take home. Needless to say, it stayed on the table, no way to eat that thing, The manager also very apologetic, gave my sister a $50 gift card to use on a future visit. I am sure she will be back, but for my wife and I, this was a one and done. And I hope most people have an enjoyable time and get better food than we do.
