It's all outdoor stuff but brought indoors! There were bag hooks underneath the tables(love that!!) And some many large spaces to bring a larger group! This was my first time here. I came with my family and we decided to come during Happy Hour. Parking is on the street. We were able to find a spot just a block away. The entrance is a cool, twinkle light arched "hallway" that leads up to the host stand. We were welcomed in and seated at one of the high tops near the bar. There are so many cool seating options. Rebecca welcomed us and took our drink orders. I chose to have a glass of Les Sarrins Rosé. My husband got a drink called Trailer Park Queen that consisted of prosecco, St Germain & lemon. My son went for a mocktail called Ginger Baby that had Seedlip Grove, ginger beer, cucumber, mint & lemon. My daughter chose the peach flavor of High Noon. We chose two appetizers from the Happy Hour. Jalapeno Homies, jalapenos stuffed with cream cheese, bacon, cheddar and tomatoes. It came with a side of BBQ sauce. These were a hit! The barbeque sauce put it over the top. Our second appetizer was the hummus. It was roasted red pepper hummus with kalamata olives, sun-dried tomatoes and feta. It was served pita triangles, carrots and cucumber. My son ordered the Chicken Pesto Sandwich. It had grilled chicken, pesto, white American cheese, arugula, sun-dried tomatoes and was served on focaccia bread. It came with fries. He is a huge pesto fan and thoroughly enjoyed his sandwich. My husband, daughter and I decided to share two pizzas. We chose Matt, without mushrooms (I'm allergic). So that left us with the following toppings: mozzarella, Canadian bacon, pepperoni, Italian sausage, green peppers, black olives, cheddar and ranch. Our second selection was the Street Corn pizza. it had mozzarella, roasted corn, cotija cheese, cilantro, avocado crema, cream cheese and the cutest mini tajin bottle to shake on top. I don't even know how to describe this place other than saying it's appropriately named and there's not a thing I would add or take away from the decor or experience. I definitely felt like I'd spent the evening as a "happy camper." From the outside, the place has a glow and just seems loud. It's large. It takes over the entire intersection, though Avanti, the food court and bar with its two stories, towers across the street. It's just an electric energy that pulses from Happy Camper and its patrons. During the summer, the chill patio is hopping. During the winter, it's a warm shelter of neon, sparkle and a cool campfire. These pics are from a Wednesday evening, stopping in for dinner. We had our IDs checked at the door then walked through an arcade of fairy lights to get a table in the back, near the bar. Our server was a complete delight! She was well informed with the menu, helped me pick something that wasn't pizza to eat and guided my friend through a sampling of specialty cocktails while I sipped on my Diet Coke that she didn't let go empty. The wrap was terrific, fries with melted cheese were mouthwatering... honestly surprised I couldn't finish them but it was so filling. Absolute gem of a place and a must see when visiting Denver! Coming from LA, a bar like this would have the longest line just to get in. The wait for a table was about a half hour, but the bar was open and there was lots of things to check out we waited. Disclaimer: we came during an event. I coincidentally visited on Taylor Swift night and was thoroughly impressed by the Halloween/Taylor Swift decor. They had a live DJ, small businesses, and a friendship bracelet making table. The amount of detail and care the staff put into this place is phenomenal. The pumpkin spice espresso martini was amazing and I honestly wish I asked for the recipe. The elote dip was delicious and a great size for sharing. The Big Ass Lemonade was a hit with my group as it is the best bang for your buck. It was quite strong, but a good time! There was a cute Photo Booth by the front entrance which was a great way to remember our trip in Denver. It was my first time here and had such a interesting vibe on the inside. Lights and TVs and so many unique places to sit. Out waitress was lovely and even offered to turn off a fan because it was a tad chilly inside. We order the Nachos which honestly needs to be shared between like 3-5 people. It would be a good app for a group or main meal for a few people. The restroom was super fun too! I love when the small details in a restaurant are noticed. I can see why people rave about the vibe here. The lighting and theme are great. And we visited during the holidays, so the place was decked out for Christmas. There are so many places to take pictures. The vibe is also heavily influenced by the staff- and especially our waiter with his chill self proclaimed hakuna matata attitude and "HAPPY" t-shirt. Half of our table ordered brunch and the other half ordered off of the regular menu. I ordered a breakfast burrito and it was mediocre. The street corn pizza, though was awesome. You can probably guess what came out first. Nope, not the Avocado Toast, my burger came out first, so I dug in. It was okay. The first bites were pretty good, but the cheese was overwhelming. Had to use the 1000 Island that came with the fries, and BBQ sauce that came with the Jalapeno Homies to make it palatable. And believe it or not, I was half way through my burger before my wife got her Avocado Toast, I would have expected that to come out first, nope. Now the pizza, we were told by Conner I don't know how many times that is coming out. Never came, I was done with my burger (what I could handle) and my wife done with her Avocado Toast, still no pizza. We told Conner to just put the pizza in a to-go box. Finally at some point, well after being there an hour, Conner tells us again that the pizza is on the way out. Some kid bring out the pizza box out and when he did not have enough room to set it on the table, dropped it on the damn bench next to my sister. She was pissed. She works in the hospitality business and she was beside herself. Then she opened the box. OMG, it was fricking disgusting! It looked just AWEFUL! And guess how much it was on the tab, $34! (see the picture on this review!) After some discussion with Conner, and the shift manager, they took the pizza off the ticket and left the pizza to take home. Needless to say, it stayed on the table, no way to eat that thing, The manager also very apologetic, gave my sister a $50 gift card to use on a future visit. I am sure she will be back, but for my wife and I, this was a one and done. And I hope most people have an enjoyable time and get better food than we do.
