Very nice breakfast place! Large menu with some unique options. They had good service and were able to accommodate our large group.

After doing a few Saturday errands, I thought I would try something new for breakfast in Morrisville. Don't get me wrong, I like my usual places, but just up for a change this fine day. Remembering Another Broken Egg Cafe, I went over there to see what they could do for me. I'm glad I did, I had a good experience. There were a few in line around 11ish, but the wait was only 5-10 minutes tops and very doable. The hostess staff was nice and courteous. I chose to take a seat at the bar seeing I was solo, and I like that area a lot at ABEC. I was actually happy to be placed there than the tables. The whole interior is done well, bright and nice decor, clean as well. I ordered three scrambled eggs, two pancakes, and a large glass of cranberry juice. Service was great...prompt, courteous, and attentive. There was not a long wait for food turnaround and my order was ready fairly quickly. Great scrambled eggs...nice and fluffy, not just slapped on the grill and hacked up a bit (yeah, I'm looking at you, Waffle House). The eggs hit the spot, and the pancakes were light and tasty as well. Great breakfast all around. To top it all off, the price was surprisingly great. Bottom line: A great breakfast experience. Good food, nice and attentive staff, clean and nice decor/atmosphere, and decent prices. I plan on seeing them again! read more

Food was really good. Highly recommend the bananas foster pancakes. However, my eggs were cold. When I told the waiter, his response was "oh I'm sorry". So.... that was it. I kind of expected something to be taken off my bill. I would go back and next time, just ask for the refund, I guess read more

Although they get mixed reviews in terms of how fast their service is, I myself have never had any issue with the service or how I was treated. Food has always been awesome and the staff were always super friendly. My personal favorite is the crab cake benedict, but I would like to encourage everyone to try the seasonal lobster benedict when it's available on the menu. Also, you can't go wrong with the house famous lobster and brie omelette breakfast/brunch. read more

We were visiting a friend this past weekend who doesn't live too far from this location of ABEC and she strongly recommended we go for brunch, the prior night when we walked by it. On looking at the menu, it's typical brunch fare but the food was delicious. All three of us ordered a different version of their omelette and we were all satisfied with our choices. There can be a wait on the weekend so it's best to use the Yelp waitlist tool and get updates when your table is ready. read more

This used to be one of my favorite breakfast places. However it's gone downhill. The food is just mediocre at best. Today I sat on the bar patiently for 30 minutes waiting to be served, understanding that they, like most places, are understaffed. No one even gave me a menu, poured me a glass of water, etc. Will NOT be going back!!! read more

Our first experience on June 1, 2023 was wonderful. The atmosphere was welcoming and the food was great!!! Our waitress was very attentive and courteous. This was our first time and it won't be our last! Thank you for an awesome breakfast. read more

If you're looking for a great place for breakfast/brunch while you're in Raleigh, NC area, this is the place to go. It was my first time to have breakfast here and the staff are very nice, clean and foods are delicious, they have all different kinds of breakfast omelets. Mimosas and Bloody Marys (house-made infused bell pepper vodka) are on point! Eggs were cooked perfect, excellent breakfast potatoes. Great atmosphere, friendly service, worth the few minutes in morning for breakfast. I will visit again when in area. read more

Short Story: An average place for eggs. Long Story: I came here based on yelp reviews and I ordered the vegetarian omelette with potatoes. The food was okay, but I have had better. The service, ambiance, and decor was average. Verdict: I will probably not go back. There are other breakfast places to go to in Morrisville that is better! read more

What a wonderful place! So many choices we went twice while we were in area. Everything was great. I had the pancake trio the first morning, and the biscuit and gravy the second. The housemade sausage has so much flavor! Husband had Shrimp n grits then Hashbrown Benedict. Mary was our waitress both days and she was friendly and very helpful making our choices. Be sure to ask for her! read more

Super friendly staff, great food and drinks. I got the Spiked Salted Caramel Coke Brew and it was fantastic. The server brought us complimentary beignets since this was our first time here and they were amazing. We decided on Shrimp & Grits and the crab cake Benedict. Both were excellent. Thank you for an amazing brunch! read more

We went there on Saturday morning for brunch. The front desk guy told us that it would be 25 mins to an hour wait time. We were okay with that and signed in. To start off the guy was super rude (he was trying to be funny by asking me to "slow down my ass" while I was giving my name and number, which I did not find funny at all. Anyways, we waited inside the restaurant for 59 mins...people who signed in after us were given a table. So we decided to go and tell the front desk guy that we have been waiting since an hour..the reply was " well you still have a min" and then ended up NOT seating us for that one min !! It's absurd and rude. I don't think I am ever going back to a place like this where they cannot treat their customers right! And I DO NOT recommend this place !! read more

Foods is good but prices are a bit high. Ambiance is good. Service is excellent. Family oriented restaurant. Bigneits were not what I expected. More like fried dough. Pancakes were good read more

Came here again for lunch with colleagues on a Friday. We got various omelette and shrimp and grits. Food was really really really good as usual. But service was very slow. I never minded it on a weekend day when I came in for brunch, but for lunch during workdays I do feel that it's taking a bit too long for everything--taking orders, bringing out the food, getting the check etc. Overall still good experience but probably will try not to come for lunch during workdays. read more

A lot has changed so nce the pandemic. Food quality is subpar. I got French toast and while there was a huge quantity the quality was lacking. Flavorless and gummy. No maple syrup. Eggs were ordered over medium - I got crispy on outside and runny inside. The waitress was shocking. I ordered herbal tea and asked what was available. Her answer? "I don't drink cheap tea". She was a former stewardess and was "spoiled" she added" Not sure why she felt she had to share her ire about Biden and how the pandemic was a hoax. Was it because I was wearing a mask? I was very uncomfortable. I ate, paid and still tipped because im not a jerk but I will never dine here again. read more

We usually come here about once a year. The food is consistently good, but the prices are also consistently high. I enjoy some the cajun spin they do on some of their dishes. The shrimp and grits had a nice little kick to them (which is right down my alley). We started off with some beignets and they came out warm and yummy. My wife had the crab cakes and fried green tomatoes and mentioned she was a little underwhelmed by the flavors of her dish. I can say they do make a mean bloody mary and my wife said her Irish coffee had a kick to it as well. Our waiter was pretty attentive at first but mysteriously vanished when we were ready to go. There is nothing like the feeling when you have somewhere to be, but you are being held hostage due to needing to pay for your meal. Speaking of, I honestly would of given this place a higher star rating if the prices were not so darn high. For 2 people at lunch time, our bill was over $50?!?! I would expect to be required to wear tie before paying such prices for a lunch time meal. We will probably go back again for our annual visit next year unless they lower their prices before then. Cheers! read more

Here for Friday lunch in a group of four. Probably my 3rd or 4th time here now. It's only open for breakfast/lunch/brunch. Service: Slow service for only a half full place. Took nearly half an hour after ordering for us to get our food. Atmosphere: Cute, quaint place that's spacious and bright and reminds you of your grandmother's place with the eclectic decor. Food: Got the shrimp'n grits and switched out the andouille sausage for turkey sausage because I don't eat pork. Grits were cheesy as advertised, the dish wasn't too salty which can be the case with shrimp, and great flavor from the reduction and red peppers. Not very spicy either if that's a concern for some. I would really give the place a 3.5 for the slow service but I've been here before at busier times and didn't have this problem so hence the four stars. Parking is not an issue as this is Park West Village and there are large lots for all the shops/restaurants. They also have outdoor seating for nice days. read more

Love the chicken and waffles. Nice services and it's easy to find. I would recommend.

¡¡¡ HUGE FAN !!! Not just of the company in general but this location specifically. We drove 40 mins on a Sunday only to arrive with 22 parties waiting to be seated. The staff put us on the wait list saying it would be 30 mins. Cool thing was that we could track our place in line through Yelp and everything went smoothly and we got a booth in 25. Food is consistently delish, lots of options from healthy to decadent. The service is always stellar- shout out to my man Brandon, who is top shelf! read more

We waited over 45 minutes still didn't get a table. No one in the restaurant was eating. Priority given to takeout orders while everybody was sitting around. Servers have no idea what they're doing kitchen is obviously pretty much abandoned. read more

I ordered take out. They were extremely business to be still with in a pandemic. However, I was in and out and very close to the door. The staff was friendly and I felt appreciated as a customer. The Beignets were amazing even though they are not the same size you would get in New Orleans. My personal opinion I think you get a bit more bang for your buck at First Watch or The Original Pancake House. I thought the food was okay. I am in different if I would return or not. read more

Strawberry st. Germain mimosas and lemon blueberry goat cheese pancakes are literally the best ever! Update: went to the Morrisville location this time around. I ordered the same things but added the beignets, which were absolutely to die for. The main reason I'm updating my review is for service. The food runner today was hustling super hard and did a great job and our server, Brandon, gave us the best service we've had at a restaurant EVER. Super efficient, super polite and not just with us but with every table he had. I was blown away by his service, come here and request him if you want a great experience. read more

I have enjoyed breakfast at the Morrisville Another Broken Egg several times. Today, as in the past visits, I was lucky to have Kathy as my waitress. Definitely a place to have a quality breakfast with a friendly staff. read more

I did a take out for a business meeting. I was a little skeptical due to reviews on service, but wanted to provide more than a bagel. Service was as everyone said-took 30 minutes for my to-go brunch for two people. That being said, the order was correct, they packed cutlery and the food was very good! I would say delicious, however it was cold- considering it wasn't eaten immediately. No fault or less stars for that, just the time it took considering there were only 4 occupied tables in the place. THE HIGHLIGHT- you have to order the city grits! They are awesome! read more

We just went to this restaurant. Walked in, stood at the front desk for a few minutes. A staff member walked up, grabbed menus and walked off. He did not look at us or speak to us. Went to the table without us. Put menus down, still no eye contact and didn't speak to us. My husband asked if we could sit outside. He grabbed menus, went back to front desks computer then walked outside and put menus down. Let the door shut on me, still no eye contact or talking. Needless to say, we walked out and went some place else to eat. read more

The food was absolutely amazing. I was craving breakfast food so one of my girlfriend's recommended this place because she said she heard so many good reviews about it. I'm a simple girl so I just wanted a regular breakfast meal. First of all, the French toast is to die for. They are light and airy, and they give you plenty if you're that hungry. The sausage was homemade and had lovely and balanced seasoning, it went well with the cheese scrambled eggs that I ordered. The country style potatoes were amazing, not too salty compared to other breakfast places I've been to. I also ordered chocolate chip pancakes for my daughter. Surprisingly she loved it and she's a picky eater. She also loved the potatoes. The bacon was phenomenal, and crispy just like I like it. The peach Bellini was also a hit. Came in a cute little glass and kind of tasted like a spritzer. It was a nice touch to my meal. This is definitely going to be a go to spot when I have my craving again . read more

Un organized, no management, no flow. Avoid this location all together. The host has no clue on how to run the floor. It's a shame, everyone has hyped up this place and I will never try it. Unexperienced servers. Take out orders are prioritized over in house guests. I can't believe people actually wait for a hole in the wall like this. read more

We can not thank Another Broken Egg enough! Greg and his whole team worked early in the morning to put together a catering order for our company, TTI Inc., to do a charity event for A Note in the Pocket and Eastern Carolina Food Bank. Greg gave us a great deal... the food was amazing... not one customer/supplier who came (60 in total) could find any fault with the awesome spread Greg and his team made! This is a time where our company and our Customers and Supplies come together to help those in need. Greg helped us make sure everyone who donated had an awesome breakfast in their bellies while donating to fill the bellies of those who need it. A lot of great options here! We got seated pretty quickly. Service was a bit slow, it wasn't too busy, but it was good because we were mainly there to socialize and catch up with the group of friends. Food was good, nothing crazy special. Another Broken Egg is a breakfast and brunch restaurant at Park West Village and the hours are 7am to 2pm. It is corporate with an attempt to make the decor familiar and comfortable. We arrived early on a Saturday and were greeted by four different people (server, hostess, jubilant person and by someone else). We were seated at a two top by the window. The table was wobbly and the leg was not even so I had to say something. I don't like a table shaking when I cut into my food. We were moved to another table in the corner with a stable base and our server followed and we placed a drink order. Another server then immediately followed and asked for our drinks choices because we got moved to her section. I know I threw off the entire structure by asking to move tables and it finally resolved itself. Another couple was immediately seated at the wobbly table and there was no concern to fix it. The menu offers omelettes with crabmeat and cream cheese and then more traditional egg creations. I ordered an omelette and the menu says it comes with a choice of grits or potatoes. I asked the server if I need to pick one because she did not ask which side I wanted. If I had not asked, I guess the default is potatoes. The restaurant filled up and it took a while for our two items to come out. My omelette was fine yet I cannot say it was anything anything special. Overall, my favorite thing was the coffee mug because it looked like handmade pottery and stood out. For $34, I am going to try other breakfast restaurants next time. It was just not for me. read more

Came here for late brunch on a Wednesday morning, not too busy and good parking availability for a packed strip mall area. Party of 4, seated right away in a very covid sanitary environment. Everyone ordered something different, the French Toast w/fresh fruits looked amazing. My Western style omelette was awesome, potatoes excellent and loved having a fresh muffin vice toast! Our ladies had different omlette's also, both were very pleased also. Coffee was hot, service was quick and our waitress was very, very friendly and knew how to a service a table full of people. The Manager visited the table, good sign b/c it shows they care. Why people ding them w/3 stars, not a fair assessment in my opinion. Go visit them, enjoy the food and service w/confidence. read more

Always a great experience and delicious food at this spot. I was actually really excited to come here; I've known about this place for over a year now and never took the time to stop in. Finally did today and was surprisingly disappointed. The restaurant itself is nicely decorated. My partner commented that he didn't like it and that it had an old-timey mom and pop feel, but I thought it was very nice. Even the dishes were very pretty and a nice change from usual bland dishware, lol. Maybe I didn't order the right thing, maybe the waiter was just having an off day...? I don't know. He was completely mumbling and not very friendly, but I suppose he was not particularly rude either. I guess my thing about it is that I know I might not look like Misses Money Bags, but I really appreciate when someone I am expected to tip (or anyone really) at least tries to be kind and helpful. I ordered the southwest scramble which is usually a favorite breakfast dish of mine. However, though the dish was plated nicely, the flavor was lacking in a major way. In my eyes, chorizo is meant to be well seasoned to bring the flavors out, but everything was very bland and I regretted ordering it. It wasn't even busy and the waiter didn't check on us at all to see if we enjoy the food or need anything else, etc. I mean I even had to get up and ask the hostess for our checks. There were a good selection of items on the menu that appealed to me, but what I chose seemed like a safe choice and a good bang for the buck. I would like to return just to try some other menu items, maybe when I have some more money to spare. read more
