Pretty good place. They have really friendly staff and wonderful music! I love places like this with a classic restaurant feel.

This place has one of the worst cooks in the entire country. I went here a couple months ago and got an omelet with no cheese. What they gave me was so disgusting I almost couldn't eat it.. the cook who made my food has no idea at all that you don't put raw vegetables into an omelet.. they obviously need to be cooked first before going inside the eggs.. otherwise they sweat and then guess what? you get a omelet laying in a puddle of water at the bottom of the plate. If you don't know how to cook, do not get a job as a cook. If you cannot problem solve and understand food science, do not get a job as a cook.. but if you don't know any of this things and want to cook, then learn! LEARN. DOING YOUR JOB WELL WHEN YOU'RE A CHEF IS NEXT TO GODLINESS. We are spending our hard earned money at your establishment, the least you can do is cook our food so good that we actually want to COME BACK. Are here twice on a recent work trip. It was across the street from our hotel. First meal was lunch. I had a baked potato and green salad. Blue cheese dressing was fabulous! Husband had the lunch special which was corned beef. I had a bite and it was good! Went back in the evening for a snack and dessert. Had garlic fries, they were just okay. Best thing of the day though was the apple pie overload! That was to die for!!! Really, really good!!! Service was good both times. read more

Good service, terrible food. I ordered a BLTA - super simple...cook some bacon, toast bread, slice and add toppings....the avocado tasted weird...it needed salt...literally I had to season a sandwich it was so bad. If you like Applebees or Sherrys - this is a big step down. read more

We love Adels! The chicken marsala is my favorite, but we order a variety of meals and are never disappointed. Great service, kid-friendly, very accommodating, and they have a large, varied menu, so they're great for groups. We go there often! read more

Went to Adel's for Christmas dinner. Never again! Their thanksgiving meal was top notch. Excellent food, good service, but not sure how they failed at Christmas dinner. Ordered the turkey meal. Was told on the phone days prior, it would be like the thanksgiving meal. It wasn't. Mash potatoes was horrible. The turkey chunks were cold, and no veggies, no stuffing, and no dinner roll. The other folks I was with ordered the Prime Rib. One slice of tough meat, no veggies, no nothing. When we were done eating we were handed our check. The waitress didn't even ask if we wanted desert. One individual made the comment, "Guess we won't be getting desert tonight.." I paid $70 for nothing! I will never eat a holiday meal at Adel's again. Also I'm sick and tired of the young girls at the register tossing the receipt at me and not even saying, "Thank you...." nothing. That's twice that's happened. read more

This is definitely a local dive. It's pretty much a little bit nicer version of a Denny's. I'm pretty sure the manager is a guy who is perv because all the waitresses here have big boobs and run around in short skirts.. kinda interested place to do some people watching at. Wow, I can't believe that the other reviews are so low. My husband and I ate here while in Eureka and couldn't have been happier. He had corned beef hash and I had the Irish breakfast, which was....corned beef, eggs and potatoes. Portions were huge and the potatoes were crispy...delish! And the price was completely right. Outstanding. Ordered takeout from my hotel, got there ten minutes later and it was ready to go, had Parmesan chicken and fish and chips. This place was really weird. We went last night, 4th of July, because it was one of the only places open. We got seated right away which was nice. Our waitress was a really pretty girl who seemed nice enough. Once we started ordering, though everything went downhill. The waitress clearly had a short temper. We tried to make her laugh a little bit, nothing mean or sarcastic. Just laughing!! She did not want any of it. She took our orders very rudely and when she went to collect our menus and walked away, one person in our group help up her menu and the waitress ignored her and ran away. I watched her make our salads and she was trying to be super speedy, slapping the dressing on quickly and throwing the plates down on the table (not literally, but she put them down forcefully). That was enough to give this place 3 stars. What made me drop it down even more was the food. Plain and bland. Clearly all frozen. The salmon for sure was frozen, I know this because we asked. Anyways, terrible service, terrible food. I don't recommend this to anyone unless it's a last resort. read more

I'd like to start with saying that the service is great. The waitresses are always wonderful. But the cooks seem to not care about the food they send out. Ham omelet with sliced lunch meat, undercooked hash browns and butter on 10% of the toast. This is easy stuff! read more

Really disappointed. Adels used to be the goto spot for the locals. Lately. However. There is definitely something amiss. My sandwich had a rotten tomato in it. It was so disgusting. On top of that. My mother witnessed a waitress in the restroom fall to wash her hands. I'm not saying the waitress didn't wash her hands in the kitchen as that is what I tell myself must have happened. Stopped in to kiil time while my car was in Dan's Auto Electric for work. I was curious to try their corned beef hash because last March while shopping at Winco for a corned beef that very nice manager at Adel's had stopped to help me pick out a good one. Their corned beef hash is FANTASTIC , nice and crispy. Recommended. read more

Adele's is perhaps the best of several family style restaurants on Broadway in Eureka. The breakfast and lunch specials are pretty good meals at very reasonable prices. The wait staff is always very attentive, and are very charming to the older male customers, apparently their target demographic, judging by the lineup at the counter. Four of us go this time and while waiting for seating directives we are told that the entire upper section is dirty and would we sit in the lower section. Let us be clear, the waitress was doing her level best in all ways but where is the management on this one folks. We're talking 7am and this lovely lady is left to her own devices. Yes, I gave Adel's five big stars. Now I will tell you why... For starters, taste! Wow what a concept, finally a local restaurant that cooks food that taste delicious. No matter what kinds of food you eat, lite or meaty steak Adel's delivers. I have eaten there breakfast, lunch and dinner and never once been disappointed with the taste, freshness, and quality of the food. One more helping of a good review, the amount of food is unreal in today's economy. While most of the restaurants raised their prices and sized down their portions, Adel's did not cave, but stayed with their prices and generous portions. Extras? Clean, friendly, fun. Adel's is a diner-style restaurant, which means you get "typical" American food, steaks, sandwiches, burgers, and the like. If you're looking for fine cuisine, look elsewhere. This isn't for people who want subtle blends of flavors or delicacies. It's not for people who like places with more garnish on a plate than food. If what you want on your plate is a good, solid meal, this is a great place to go. Lunch specials tend to be a great value. They cycle them from time to time, but the corned beef and cabbage is always there on Tuesdays. Burgers are large, and they have a number of variations to choose from. Salads are very large, especially the entree salads. Soup is a bowl, not a cup. I'm not thrilled with the top sirloin (I liked the New York that they stopped serving), but the ribeye is tasty. For breakfast, they have the usual stuff, plus a variety of omelets and skillets. Quality of service is always good, and the manager (except on Fridays, when he's not there) is very good about making things right if something goes wrong. Speed of service is also good. There are a number of tasty desserts to choose from. Most of them are very large, you may want to split one with a friend. Overall, it's a great place to go if you're hungry, are looking for good, solid food rather than "cuisine", and don't want to spend a fortune on your meal (most are between $8 and $16). It really irks me when people lie in their reviews. If you didn't like the place, fine. But don't make up stuff about it. Some comments to clarify what others have written: *The bit about the waitresses in miniskirts is not accurate. The vast majority wear pants. Rarely, a hostess will wear a dress or skirt, but not a miniskirt. No need to make personal comments about the owner, especially when backing them up with lies. *The bacon is nice and thick, and perfectly edible. If you're bacon is cold, it's because you left it on your plate too long before eating, because it's served hot. *There is no "fat people" section of the restaurant, nor do they seat "pretty" people toward the front. What a pleasant surprise! We've been traveling down the Pacific Coast with friends and stopped for lunch at Adel's because it was right on 101. The Salad was extremely fresh. The loaded baked potato was too big to finish in one sitting. Even the iced tea was special, a big sprig of fresh mint and a generous wedge of lemon. I've never gotten so upset over a bad meal, and it wouldn't be a big deal if it weren't for the service. I ordered the steak and eggs for breakfast (yes there is only one option and unfortunately it is a sirloin - at "Adele's Steaks!"). The server was friendly enough but I felt like she was scowling at me behind her smile. I had asked for the steak to be cooked medium rare, but it came out closer to well done. I took one bite and was immediately turned off, it had no flavor. The next three trips by the table, the server completely ignored the fact that i order a $13 steak and ate 1 bite; she even asked me if I wanted a box when she brought my card back! Mix in the fact that she was very slow and you have a pretty upsetting morning. Thanks for letting me leave hungry and making me this angry, Adele's. read more

My family stopped in euruka for the night as we traveled the 101. We ate dinner (I had breakfast for dinner) at Adels. The restaurant is clean, the waitresses are friendy and attentive (pretty too!! wish they all could be California girls) and the food was good. All three boys enjoyed their milkshakes. They all ate their food which is a good sign of good food. Two had burgers, one had mac n cheese. I had the fresh corned beef hash which was delicious. My eggs, over easy, should have been cooked just a little more...not uncooked egg but not fried enough. The hash browns were crispy and good tasting, but seemed to be plain so you can salt and pepper to your liking. read more

The bacon cheese burger and the SanFrancisco burger are both very good. The service is amazing and the staff are all very kind.
