We really liked this place until one day we went back to eat breakfast and my husband's omelette had not one hair, but two different hairs in it plus his biscuits and gravy came with a beard hair on the plate in his gravy. We showed the server and she apologized and offered to remake us the food, but we had lost our appetite- they did give us our money back, but we definitely won't be back here and have some concerns regarding the cleanliness of the place. We LOVE Cafe Nooner, but... Picked up takeaway pork sandwiches with fries. Sandwiches were delicious, but the fries were NOT! We are good customers, buying over 10 gift certificates for others annually, and we order takeaway several times a month. The last breakfasts came with blackened potatoes also. I was very shocked when I came into Café Noah today and waited several minutes and wondered if anybody was working the counter. I started to go to the back to find somebody which is not OK when you're walking into a restaurant. And she had been standing in the front and just didn't see me And I just found it odd that she told me that I should walk around and present myself so they know I'm there. I am 52 years old. This is one of the few places that opened before 10am on Sunday and was closest to our Airbnb. The door was opened promptly at 8:30 and we were enjoying our breakfast by 8:46. Yay! Food quality isn't the issue. The owner is. I DoorDashed 2 breakfast meals and mine was missing the potatoes. We all know the potatoes are the best part - so I messaged my Dasher, he said to contact Cafe Nooner or DoorDash. I messaged DoorDash and got $6 off...great... but I wanted Nooner to know so they could do better. Called and asked for Manager...was told to hold...someone picked up, the hung up ...so I call back, let them know I was holding, but hung up on, then asked for Manager...the response was, "I'm the owner, but if you want the manager I'll get them for you." - it was said with such an attitude I was taken aback. I replied that I wasn't calling with an attitude so I wasn't sure why I was getting one. I then told her I was directed to call the business or DoorDash. She then said something about how people claim they didn't get an item and something else which I don't recall...and I told her I'm not trying to double dip - but as an owner I would think she would want to know. You order before sitting, which offers convenience when you're meeting with a group (no splitting of the check). They make delicious espresso drinks, the everything potatoes are very delicious, and wait staff is very kind. The ambiance is sweet and homey with lots of vibrant plants. Delicious diner and Mediterranean food with lots of vegan/vegetarian options. I love how all the burgers have the option to swap for tempeh on a rosemary focaccia bread - yum! I will have to try one of the burgers next time. We ordered the French toast combo and meze platter. I really liked the sauces on the meze platter, flavorful with grilled pita bread included. I enjoy good vibes and energy and every time we have been to eat here there are good vibes. We are a family of three. Our daughter is nine years so we often share meals. We ordered one Chicken Flatbread, Tri tip flatbread, and small sea salt fries. We cut them in thirds and shared the fries and it was very filling. The meat was tender and they don't skimp on how much you get. The tzatziki sauce and hummus are soooooo good! I could order a gallon of it and bring it home. This place can definitely get busy but is pretty quick with turnover and has outdoor tables on the sidewalk for a nice day. We love this cafe. The service is always great. I love that all the staff members has great attitude and always ready to help. The food cuisine here I would say Mediterranean inspired or a mixture of Mediterranean and American style. That's the vibe I got from the food selection they have. The restaurant is spacious and has lots of natural lighting; which is super nice for people who have photophobia like myself. This would be our 5th visit. The food has a great taste and nice flavor. We got different dishes, and the quality is always great. I think they have a great quantity serving size per person, but if you are a hungry eater maybe get something extra to the side. I would say it's a bit pricey, but it's worth the try. We are visiting Eureka and came across Cafe Nooner. This was the best Mediterranean food I've ever had. Get the lamb. I had a flat bread with lamb medium rare and it was chard but still pink in the middle. Lamb is not easy to cook but they did it extremely well. We stopped in for a quick late breakfast at Cafe Nooner. I ordered a caramel latte and the country breakfast and my girlfriend had the California omelet. Something was going on with their coffee machine when the server was in the process of making my latte and she was very quick and kind to notify me they're working on fixing it. She also refunded me the latte, which I appreciated but it wasn't necessary as I understand things like this can happen. Our food arrived relatively quickly and the portion sizes are large. The biscuit and gravy that came with my country breakfast was pretty good, the biscuit wasn't too dry or crumbly. The only thing I didn't enjoy were the sausages. I think they make them in house, but the sausage was super dry and almost flavorless. The California omelette was a 7 or 8/10 in my girlfriend's opinion. I didn't try it myself but I trust her judgement as it looked pretty delightful. The interior is more spacey than you would presume looking from the outside. I think they had a back door open for a shipment or something though because there were a few flies roaming about, but not enough to bother us. We found Cafe Nooner when looking for a pet friendly restaurant on our vacation. The reviews on BringFido were good, we decided to give it a try. The biscuits and gravy were absolutely delicious and my wife's tofu burrito was excellent. (great job on the spices!) The breakfast potatoes were also delicious. All of the food was very good, we actually had breakfast here two days in a row! My wife says the coffee was also "really good!" The staff were very welcoming to us and our puppy, the seating outside was nice in the morning on a decently quiet street. I'm surprised to see so many negative reviews for Nooner, but they all seem to be pretty old, so maybe management has addressed customers' previous concerns. I love to visit Nooner in Henderson Center for breakfast! They have excellent breakfast burritos, benedicts, loaded breakfast potatoes and mimosas. Their ingredients seem to be very fresh, including their excellent orange juice. The space doesn't have a lot of character but it's clean and the outdoor seating is awesome on a sunny day. My only small complaint is that they use plastic plates and the tables are bare, so the plates tend to slide around while you eat ... they either need heavier plates or some kind of table coverings. Even paper tablecloths or placements would be an improvement ... it may help with the lack of character issue too. read more

I don't know who the chef is that thought of these amazing flavors, but as a fellow cook, I tip my hat to you.
