    Blackened fries.

We LOVE Cafe Nooner, but... Picked up takeaway pork sandwiches with fries. Sandwiches were delicious, but the fries were NOT! We are good customers, buying over 10 gift certificates for others annually, and we order takeaway several times a month. The last breakfasts came with blackened potatoes also. We will give them our business in the future, the restaurant is convenient, service is excellent, everything is clean and usually the food is very good.

    Spacious and clean dining room!

Really great service. Huge, clean, open dining room that filled up fast late on a Sunday morning. Loved the variety of the menu - eggs Benedict, breakfast potatoes, giant entree salads, chicken skewers, you name it!

This is one of the few places that opened before 10am on Sunday and was closest to our Airbnb. The door was opened promptly at 8:30 and we were enjoying our breakfast by 8:46. Yay! I had the breakfast burrito and hubby had his usual 2 eggs (scrambled) bacon cooked crisp, hash browns and as a twist, the flat bread. Everything was fresh, cooked to perfection and tasty. Your order at the counter then they bring it to you. Prices are reasonable and the atmosphere is bright yet cozy. The menu is a bit limited - so I held back a star.

    Everything Breakfast Potatoes. Delicious!

A group of pals and I started a standard Saturday morning meeting at this location, and it's such a hit with everyone. You order before sitting, which offers convenience when you're meeting with a group (no splitting of the check). They make delicious espresso drinks, the everything potatoes are very delicious, and wait staff is very kind. The ambiance is sweet and homey with lots of vibrant plants. They have a case of baked goods behind the counter, so whether you want a sit down meal or to grab and go, this is an ideal spot for delicious eats!

Delicious diner and Mediterranean food with lots of vegan/vegetarian options. I love how all the burgers have the option to swap for tempeh on a rosemary focaccia bread - yum! I will have to try one of the burgers next time. We ordered the French toast combo and meze platter. I really liked the sauces on the meze platter, flavorful with grilled pita bread included. It was very garlicky so be warned! Overall a clean atmosphere and lots of homemade juice choices that they make in house.

I was ultra impressed with this unassuming locals favorite restaurant. I've been hearing about Cafe Nooner for years and today was the day to pop the Nooner cherry! It has outdoor seating (right on a main road so not ideal), and spacious indoor seating. You order at the counter and then they'll deliver your food to you. I ordered the Flatbread Kebab with lamb and extra tzatziki. If you like lamb, you will LOVE this. It's sooo good. They also have the best local brews & ciders on tap. I had a bite of the Signature Burger and the fresh bread bun really makes it extra delicious. If you are rolling thru town and want to experience a hidden hem of a restaurant... search no further! The only thing that wasn't 100% delish was the week old macaron. I should have known.

We love this cafe. The service is always great. I love that all the staff members has great attitude and always ready to help. The food cuisine here I would say Mediterranean inspired or a mixture of Mediterranean and American style. That's the vibe I got from the food selection they have. The restaurant is spacious and has lots of natural lighting; which is super nice for people who have photophobia like myself. This would be our 5th visit. The food has a great taste and nice flavor. We got different dishes, and the quality is always great. I think they have a great quantity serving size per person, but if you are a hungry eater maybe get something extra to the side. I would say it's a bit pricey, but it's worth the try. Owner is super friendly and we met her during our very first visit, because I had questions about the spot and I wanted to learn more about them.

In the last few years the quality and service have declined. The downtown Eureka location seems to be a better choice.

As we got here, a nice lady gave up her counter top seating so we would not have to wait, THANK you! So today we got the following: Dirty Beto Burger - My daughter's option, and it was a home run; well ALL of our dishes were a home run! Bolo Pasta - My wife's order, another good dish. I just would have preferred more. Just being greedy. LOL. And I got more wings for my dinner (had wings for lunch also at Viethai in Santa Rosa; see other 5 star reviews). Actually, these wings were even better (slightly better). The flavor, slight kick, etc. And to wash it all down, I got the local Mad River Brewing Steelhead Extra Pale Ale. So smooth and refreshing, especially in a frosted glass. All orders were made to order, so please be patient. Ambiance - Very small local business. Service - 6 stars. From Matty, our very experienced waiter to the owner chef. Matty was so professional, I actually enjoyed watching him work. Work the tables, train the day-one waitress, communicate with the chef, etc. So impressive. Price - $65 + generous tip. Owner Comment - Congrats on your success since opening in mid 2025. We will be regular customers but next time we will make reservations ahead of time. BTW - You are the talk of the town! Congrats again.

Mind you our dogs are very well behaved so we were just grateful for them allowing us. They even brought out a dog bowl for water . The vibe was just really beautiful and decorated beautifully. It's perfect for date nights or family dinners. Service was amazing, we had Emma and Matt, between them both we were taken care of from all angles. The food was pretty delicious , I got their chicken artichoke... the sauce was amazing, the chicken was tender, the shrimp was delicious. My wife got the eggplant parmigiana, she absolutely love the eggplant and but she said the sauce and the pasta was ok. She did enjoy it overall. We closed it all off with their Colombian coffee creme brulee. The flavors were there but the custard did not sit appropriately... so it was a little more liquid and warm. The flavors were there so we enjoyed it. We love the heart that Smalls has in its ambitious nature and know they will only grow from here. If we lived in the area this would probably be a regular for us to go to. It seems like the chef loves to try new things and have new specials so you just can't go wrong with that.

I found this restauraunt on Yelp and we reserved it for my birthday dinner on a Saturday night. We sat by the window and had a beautiful view of the sunset and bay. Upon being seated we were served some bread with some whipped butter mixed with some sort of seafood I believed? I forgot, but the butter was delicious. Our first round of bread however, was average at best and was very dense and doughy. The next rounds of bread were significantly better though, so maybe there's an inconsistency with the way they bake their bread in-house. I ordered the seafood penne pasta and my boyfriend ordered the king salmon with risotto. Both were "specials" and were not on the menu. However after digging into reviews here, it seems they are not so much specials since both dishes have been served here for the past 7ish years. Seafood penne pasta: I would rate a 3/5, maybe a 2.5/5. The pasta itself was not al dente which was disappointing. The "star" of this dish was supposed to be the scallop, which was severely undercooked! It was super soft and mushy. The shrimp was alright...some were overcooked. The salmon was also dry. I think the only thing I really enjoyed was the mussels, clams, and the sauce. The sauce had some curry with a small kick to it. This dish was just okay. Escargot: We ordered as our appetizer, I'd give it a 3.5/5! The escargot was a little soft but paired wonderfully with the bread. Creme brûlée: 3/5. Our waitress kindly put a birthday candle on it for my birthday. :) I enjoyed it, and it was very custardy! The downside was that the sugar on top was too burnt. I can't speak much for my boyfriend's dish, I did have a bite of his salmon and it was alright, maybe a bit too salty. The service however was wonderful and our waitress was super kind and helpful. Maybe I would come back to try another dish if I'm back in the area.

When the owner grabbed us and took us to our seat, I noticed on the menu how much food you get when you order an entree. Soup or salad, I got the clam chowder of course, they were out of prime rib so I got the rib eye instead. I was really sad about that choice since I haven't had prime rib in a while. The meal also came with either scampi, beer battered shrimp or calamari. It was so much food which is nice, but the steak was so chewy. I usually love it when I have to fight a bit for my meat like on a rib or something but not my steak. But it was a great restaurant and the seating on both sides of the restaurant were packed.
