We needed a place to eat breakfast this morning and didn't want the hotel breakfast. So we ventured here based on the reviews. Nice place with plenty of tables and room to move around. I had the 3 egg build an omelet with ham, mushrooms and point reyes blue cheese along with fried potatoes. The omelet was nice and fluffy with lots of filling and copious amounts of blue cheese. You don't often find point reyes blue on a menu so I wasn't expecting the amount they put in it. It was yummy. Deb didn't want 3 eggs on her omelet so she asked if they could do it with 2 instead which they did. She had the california omelet which was also very good. The potatoes were very crispy and quite good. We have not been to the other cafe nooner but if this one is any indication its got to also be good. This was a great choice and if we are back in Eureka we will be back. read more

Went there shortly after they opened with a few coworkers for breakfast. It was ok...Nothing special. Took forever to get our food, which I understand as they had only been open for a week or so. I really like having this so close to my office, and I really like what they have done with the space. The owner came over a spoke to us during our meal, which I always like. I have been here a handful of times, usually for lunch. Service is always friendly but I think they must struggle with staffing as there will often be a wait even when the restaurant is not full. My complaint is coffee service. They serve coffee in large cups that lose heat quickly. I do not like lukewarm coffee. I assume they do this because they don't want dedicate a wait person to keeping your cup full. read more

We visited Cafe Nooner Too! On a leisurely Friday afternoon. The restaurant was very quiet, very quaint. It has one side for coffees & baked goods to-go, and another side for sit down dining. The menu was superb! Plenty to choose from for lunch. My date & I ordered the same thing, the Nooner Club. It was awesome! Very quality ingredients/cooking. We frowned upon them only serving lunch until 11.....we would be visiting more frequently if we could get brunch there after 11 in the morning. It looked like a great breakfast menu, but no big deal... All in all, the $25 lunch for 2 was well worth it. read more

Very disappointed after Guys DD&D great review. Cream of potato soup of the day called to me. All I could taste was garlic. Beautiful creamy texture, but the garlic overpowered everything else. I didn't want motel room coffee, so we ventured out looking for a place to get a decide cappuccino. We visited Cafe Nooner Too! because it was close to where we were staying. This is cute little store with a dining area and a coffee counter. As we were looking over the menu, our server, Mr. Coffee (I didn't get his name, but that's what his apron said) said that he'd been a barista for a while, so if there was a coffee drink I wanted but didn't see on the menu, he could whip it up, no problem. We ordered a Mexican mocha and a cappuccino. He even asked if the cappuccino we ordered should be wet or dry. The Mexican mocha has just the right amount of heat, resulting a nicely warm tingle. It was huge though, and I took more than half of it to go. I'd go back for the coffee, for sure. The food was just ok. We split an order of biscuits & gravy. It was a huge portion. We loved the gravy but the biscuits were a bit limp. read more

The mister and I lunched here after a morning of hiking around Patrick's Point. We opted for a burger each as we were low on funds and our meal would be more spendy had we added fries, salads, etc. so we did not. I did however, ordered a Hibiscus Tea Cooler which I wish I did not as it tasted a little like kool-aid to me (if you want awesome iced hibiscus tea, try Jimtown Store in Healdsburg). The burgers were grass fed beef and good. The buns locally made, good, but made the burger hard to put in your mouth. Great food prompt friendly service, this is a great place for breakfast or lunch. Food is flavorful without being overbearing. And the atmosphere is clean and inviting. I've never been to Cafe Nooner the og but if it's anything like CN -Too I'd say yes please! I also like the art that is for sale on the walls, when I was there they had ocean paintings, can't wait to get one for the house. Arrived around noon on a Sunday, the place was fairly busy but we were seated right away. First impression of the place wasn't great, it's in a strip mall and the interior has a low ceiling and crowded entrance. I did like all the art they had hung up and the red checkered table clothes were cute. Overall everything seemed clean and well appointed. My husband ordered the lamb flatbread, ya girl had the the falafel flatbread, and we got an order of dolmas for the table. The dolmas came out very quickly and were outstanding, the best I've ever had. My flatbread was also delicious, super garlicky and fresh and the hummus they put on there was amazing. My husband's flatbread was not so good, unfortunately. He ordered the lamb medium and it came out completely rare. He said the flavor was good but because it was so under cooked it was super chewy and really difficult to eat. Our server never came back to check on us, if she had he would have sent it back. The service was good up until that point so it was disappointing that she disappeared when we needed her. There was a woman in glasses who I think might have been the manager, she was making the rounds and chatting at length with several tables, we tried to flag her down but she was preoccupied and didn't come over to our table. So the reason this is 3 stars is that my flatbread and the dolmas were great and everything was reasonably priced. Two stars docked for the shabby building, under cooked meat, and bad service at the end. I know that every kitchen has an off day and puts out a bad dish once in a while. If we had been able to get the lamb flatbread remade I'm sure it would have been delicious but unfortunately that didn't happen. read more

Twelve of us had lunch here yesterday. The service was very good considering we were a large group. Our server was very personable and did a great job. The food was excellent. I had a build your own omelet with bacon, swiss cheese, and salsa. The omelet was packed full of crispy bacon and cheese. English muffing was ordered well done and cooked to perfection. My only suggestion would be to have larger coffee cups. The coffee was good but the cup was surprisingly small. Everyone at the table seemed to enjoy the food. This was our first time at Cafe Nooner. We had heard that the food was amazing and the service was wonderful. However, to say we were disappointed is an understatement. We ordered 2 ice teas which had refills and a hibiscus tea $5.58 per glass with no refills. My husband and daughter order cheeseburgers and they came with fries. The burgers were cooked properly and it was mediocre at best. $13.95/burger. I ordered the platter with dolmas, falafel, flat bread, salad and a few other goodies. $14.00. 1/3 of the way into my meal I dip the flatbread in to the tzatziki sauce and I find a blond or grey hair (I am a brunette). I let the waitress know about it and she did not apologize and told me she would "ask her boss what to do". She also asked me what she could do to make it up to me and at this point I was feeling a bit nauseous. The "boss" never came out and they did take my meal off the bill. We waited over 45 minutes for our meal and the restaurant was not busy, it was not worth the wait. Me and my family will not be returning here. read more

GREAT house coffee in a big blue mug, the California Omelet and the California Flatbread and house taters were delicious, the fruit cup as beautiful and tasty, and the biscuit was light and fluffy. Service was slow. Waitress seemed clueless and I was a waitress for years and give all service professionals a lot of slack. Waited 30 minutes for sub par food. Not to mention my husband had to literally almost grab our waitress to get her attention for a drink refill. My sandwich was bland. My husband's burger didn't come with condiments or fries he felt like McDonald's would treat him better and have better food for less. A friend ordered a falafel plate. She's not anyone to ever say anything but even she really didn't eat anything and it looked like it was just bought at the store in a jar and tossed on the plate. This is my absolute favorite place to eat in all of Humboldt county. i eat out very often. this place has a great menu with a lot of options. i usually get the kebab plate, its a big meal, which 99% of places lack for me around here, im 6'2 220 and i lift weights 5 days a week so im all about big portions, much of the "mom and pop" places around here just SUCK at portions they are often plain skimpy on plates which bugs me. (tangent there) all the food here tastes so fresh and whole, i never leave feeling gross or phlegmy (mucus build of from crap quality) i will be full but it always seems to digest and break down quickly, (a sign of good, fresh ingredients) the staff is always on top of it and quick to get stuff done for you. my favorite is their meat quality, i usually do half chicken half tri tip on my kebab plate ITS SO GOOD, never any pieces of fat or gristle, just awesome cubes of juicy meat! plus the yellow rice is the BEST! They have a great assortment of baked goods too, cookies pastries, muffins, ect. i love that it isnt as packed as the other location, its very mellow. great for a beer and a good convo before you order. i HIGHLY suggest this place for great fresh wholesome food, this is my favorite protein meal by far! Go there if you haven, and if you order the kebab plate you wont regret it! read more

I appreciate that there are differences from this restaurant to the one in Old Town, this is not a "chain" restaurant so the dynamics, of course, would not be the same. Each place has it special quality while maintaining the owners focus and mission for the community it serves. This is truly a local restaurant that works with the needs of its community. Since the Café Nooner Too is located in Henderson Center it is easier for me to suggest the location to clients for a lunch meeting. Clients I have taken to Café Nooner Too enjoy the wide arrangements of food from Vegan to meat eaters. The daily specials are always enticing and delicious. When looking at the menu I got pretty stoaked that they used local and organic ingredients! I had to give it a try! My boyfriend wanted french toast so instead of cooking I decided to give them a try! I went in and put my order in and the girl at the counter was kind of clueless and didn't know what she was doing. Finally after a few trys she got it down... So we thought! I waited patiently for 40 min for them to cook up some eggs, sausage, biscut and cajun smoked andoulli sausage gravy and an order of french toast. I asked for chicken apple sausage and got some other type of Italian sausage that was a bit burnt. The eggs were good just pretty cold. The potatoes were bland and there really wasn't anything to hoot and hollar about. The french toast was a nicer portion than the egg breakfast but like the sausage was a bit burnt and like my eggs cold. Some fantastic strawberries were in the box! Might've been the best thing! So thw biscuts were nice and fluffy but cold :( at least the gravy was hot and an Interesting spin to it! It would probably be awesome on top of chicken fried steak! The orange juice was delicious and seemed fresh squeezed! I was just bummed about waiting 40 minutes for burnt cold food! I may try the old town location and see if its better.
