My wife and I really want to like this place. it's nice to have a breakfast option on this side of town. We've been several times for breakfast and I've tried a good spread of the menu. Overall I'd say the breakfast food has been fairly average and sometimes below average. Sometimes the seasoning is light, and the food uninspired. I was very disappointed by the Mediterranean french toast dish, it's described so well on the menu that it got my hopes up. My wife has always ended up getting an egg dish. She likes over easy, still quite gooey. Her egg is always overcooked, once she sent it back, and got another overcooked egg so she decided to just eat it. Cooking an egg many ways should be a walk in the park for any breakfast cook. That might sound picky, but you know, to never get the egg you order has become disappointing for her. Look, I really want to like this place, but it will be awhile before we go back. We'll stick with the other better breakfast option in town until we start hearing some good things. The breakfast food hasn't inspired us to try lunch there. I'd rather go to the original Cafe Nooner for lunch since it's guaranteed to be good read more

My hubby and I have gone here a few times now! The food is always very good. Sadly the service is not as good. There is a lot of having to ask multiple times for certain things, ie: honey, silverware, refills on beverages. Hopefully they can work out those links because I love their food! read more

Based only on my experience this location is better than the one in Old Town. I usually get a burger/fries and that is what this place is all about for me. Large fresh beef patty, plenty of cheese and the bun from heaven. The bun is a rosemary seasoned almost soft dense french bread, not too hard not too soft, fabulous. Fries are medium cut with the skin and cooked good. Service here is by far better. I will be back! read more

Everything on the menu is delish - all types of organic ingredients, some locally-sourced... but the 'sauteed mushrooms and goat cheese in flatbread' was a must miss (barely enough inside to notice, left half the too-chewy naan, and still hungry after). The food was good. However, the service was terrible. One of the women at our table spilled some of her water, and we were holding our tablecloth to keep it from spilling onto the floor and creating a slipping hazard. It took forever to get anyone's attention, and when we finally did flag down a waitress to ask for a towel, it wasn't our waitress, so she continued bringing out food for her other tables. You could tell she could care less. She didn't tell our waitress that we needed a towel, and it took another 5 minutes before our waitress came around and we were able to ask her for a towel. EVEN THEN it took forever for her to finally bring one out. Meanwhile, we have ice cold water dripping onto us from the tablecloth. NOT a pleasant experience. However, I'm willing to chalk this up to perhaps being a 'kink' in a new and otherwise good restaurant. Perhaps once they get into the swing of things, the service will improve. But the food was really good, so I'm willing to give it another try. read more

Really love this restaurant. It is our go-to breakfast place. The staff is super nice. I can't remember the manager's name, but she really is a people person...super nice! They have some delicious gourmet coffees (the profile pic I have of a fancy coffee is from this place!) It never takes long to get our food, and we've never had to wait for a table. read more

The food was good...the only thing was that the service was slow. I needed a refill on my water before my meal was ready. I showed up for a quick lunch, thought that I was going to get that because there were 7 pair of people sitting down for lunch. there were 3 waitresses on the floor. 45 minutes later and a refill later. This used to be a great place to go for lunch, where the service paired the food. Sadly the service has failed. Time to find a new lunch spot. read more

The restaurant is open 7AM -4PM seven days a week. Breakfast served 'til 11AM M-F and all day on weekends We went there at 2 pm on a Saturday and the place was full of diners. The menu has a good variety of American and Greek-inspired dishes. My companion ordered an omelet from the breafast menu, while I chose a chicken sandwich from the daily special menu. Within minutes of our order, the waitress returned to our table with a complementary High Nooner bar from the specialty bakery, apologizing ahead of time for a possible 10 to 15 minute delay because the cook had been swamped with orders. The perhaps 15 minute wait was well worth it. The airy omelet was cooked to perfection. It was served with home fried potatoes and a flaky bisquet made in-house. My sandwich was made with home-baked, "po'boy" bread, a tender chicken breast filet and a light, roasted pepper and cheese topping. We are looking forward to returning to try many other items on the eclectic menu. read more

Having read through many of the other reviews, I understand how there can be such discrepancies in people's reports. I have eaten both breakfast and lunch at The Nooner Too a number of times and have had both excellent meals and sub-par ones. The problem is inconsistency. I can order the same meal three times in a row and get it three different ways. I have tried to give the place the benefit of the doubt since it is new and ironing out kinks, but I'm about to give up. I have no complaints about atmosphere or service, but the kitchen needs to get its act together. I mentioned the inconsistency to our waiter on one occasion and was told that they have had other complaints and are working on it. They had better work harder and faster. M, Eureka read more

Realistically however, I only ate breakfast here so I couldn't give you a concise gist of everything on the menu but I had the California omelette, it was pretty good. Very fresh ingredients and conveniently located (for me). I liked cafe nooner in old town but that location is small and its hard to get seated. I love the avacado and bacon salad with chicken. They also have a tasty iced black tea with rose and cream. For lunch during work days i like to call my order in. read more

I am really surprised by the previous two comments, since I have been to Cafe Nooner Too twice since they opened last month and both times the service was excellent. And, I have never been disappointed with the food. Their burgers are the best in town. Also they have WIFI which I was able to connect to immediately. Came here numerous times and found it to quite different than Nooner's on the alley, in old town. Ordered a soup I order every time it is de jour. It just isn't the same...not the ambience, and not the same place. The soup wasn't what I day dream about, it's usually creamed. I think you need the original owner to show you how to cook his recipes, again...on another note, the Breve was superb, absolutely wonderful. The way he foamed the half & half was a turn on, so dense, so glossy, almost orgasmic...However, that said I've had better coffee beans, Gold Rush is just okay...three stars is for the barista...the food is good, but needs original owner to show the new owners how to cook his artichoke soup, and how to cook the chicken w/o over cooking it. They just opened, so I'll be patient and give them another try. read more

So I had had it with Cafe Nooner but my friends wanted to eat here and I thought I would give it a try. My burger was cooked to the center but I ordered a gluten free bun and my friends heard me order it. Well half way through my burger I noticed my bun was the same as my friends bun and asked about it and the waitress said it was not a gluten free bun. So she said I would not have to pay for it. So the bill came and I was not charged for the bun but charged for every thing else. I had to hassle the waitress to have her take the order off the ticket. I will never eat at either Cafe Nooner again but if the waitress would have taken my order off the bill I would have not written this review. read more

Best place to get Brunch or Dinner in Humboldt! I brought an empty belly and ordered the Tri-Tip Sandwich with fries. Simply the best Tri-Tip i've ever had! Perfect combination on flavors, then I decided to up-the-game and added the staff's favorite hot sauce for the fries. I'm impressed with the fact that the Nooner staff are really knowledgeable and passionate about serving high-quality, really good food! While I really don't get out much, I'm glad I can add a new restaurant to my "YUM List." read more

Just had the worst meal ever at Cafe Nooners. It was covered in oil and had raw bacon. Neither my boyfriend or I ate it and they still charged us. Usually they are really good. It was infuriating! Our group of 4 went out to lunch on Nov. 30, 2014. We were all VERY impressed. Even though they were almost packed, the service was fast and the waitress checked back with us several times during our meal. The food could not have been better! Feta fries are delicious. This is the best vegan/vegetarian burger and sandwich option in town. Their tempeh is offered not just as a single vegetarian burger option, but as a meat replacement in any of their sandwiches. Since switching to a vegetarian diet, I've tried the tempeh in most of their burger options as well as in the shroomy tri tip poboy, and all were the best meat replacement option and variety I've had in Humboldt. read more

This is one of my favorite breakfast spots in Humboldt! Their food tastes fresher than Golden Harvest and is much less expensive. I've never tasted anything there that I didn't like. Unfortunately, the service is not consistent. There are two waitresses there who do a fantastic job, but there are a couple others who very from lukewarm to just plain bad. I'm hoping they find more friendly, experiences staff soon. read more

Love Cafe Nooner. I have eaten there with friends at least 6 times and have never had a bad experience. breakfast is my favorite and it is served all day on Saturday and Sunday. Organic Gold Rush coffee is their regular and it is delicious and comes in a generous cup. being a flexa-terian, I love that they offer tempeh as an option~ great in the cajun barbecue omelet and as any of the hamburgers. my friend from out of town loved the black forest ham and eggs scramble and even though we knew we would have leftovers, we shared the maple french toast for dessert. amazingly perfect for something sweet at the end of the meal. this will always be my first choice for breakfast. as to the other comments I have read on Yelp, I can only assume that management paid attention because I have always had excellent service, wait staff is friendly and efficient, except they don't bring a spoon with the coffee and they should when they bring cream and honey. and $30 for all this food today was not bad. read more
