I had the chilaquiles Oaxaqueños which came with mole sauce and asada, all my respect and appreciation to the cook who told me she orders her ingredients straight from Mexico to get that authentic flavor from Oaxaca. My espresso was smooth, more burnt than acidic, which is fine because I like it that way. The Nachoes were tasty. The tortilla chips seemed homemade, were quite oily looking. Really good food! This was our first stop when we landed and we weren't disappointed! We had the red sauce enchiladas and the chilaquiles with green sauce. Both brought a bit of heat but still filling and delicious. The red sauce reminded me a bit of mole. Both plates were demolished. Waiter was nice and friendly. Space is small but the food was good. The rice and beans were decent, but they made up about 90% of the whole thing. Growing up, my mom used to stretch dinner by filling our plates with rice and beans to make a little go a long way. So Cocina Oaxaqueña, I see your game. I would've loved to judge the quality or flavor, but the few bites I managed to find were lost in all the filler--way too many ingredients for a burrito. Food was delicious and the staff was amazing! My husband and I came here for breakfast. I ordered the enfrijoletas with no meat and my husband got the breakfast burrito. So yummy! My order came with spicy red sauce. I didn't need to use all of it. My husband's burrito came with a tasty verde sauce. I also got a white mocha.
