Quality and tasty
Isabel O.

To go order was delicious and very tasty! All items were correct and fresh. Quick. I highly recommend!

We had Molo enchilada, Cameron Sope, Vegetable Sope and Pollo Sope. We loved it! The chips and salsa were fresh and the house made sauce was excellent! If your in Eureka, you have to eat here!

Sadly, I would have to say this is three stars at best. Our server was very nice but a little awkward. The setup is not great inside. Based on the reviews we anticipated a better experience. The food was blah and despite our low expectations was just so so. Salsa was watering and flavorless. The chips were stale. The sampler platter was eh. You had to dip everything in queso to give it some flavor. The other dish was a three item combo with a beef taco and two enchiladas. They use cabbage here instead of lettuce which was a nice difference. The margarita was the 4 star experience. Although very tart and sweet it kicked my butt. Definitely got a buzz. I would not recommend or return based on this experience although many have given it high ratings.

This is hands down some of the best Mexican food I have ever had. I think the secret lies within their tortillas. They hand make their tortillas in house, so every tortilla item you order is made fresh. You can also see them making the tortillas there in the kitchen as you are sitting at your table. You can't beat a meal that is made fresh in the kitchen. The employees are extremely nice and attentive. Our waitress always made sure we had what we needed. We tried the pachanga sampler (pictured). It came with nachos, taquitos, quesadillas, jalapeño poppers, and queso dip. This specific dish runs about $20, but like I said before, all of the tortillas involved are freshly made, and the food is absolutely delicious!

Our favorite Mexican restaurant in the county! Family owned, wonderful service every time and the salsas are delicious, especially the cabbage salsa!

Housemade Poppers...mmmm

Monday at pachanga. Housemade poppers, you can get anything like it anywhere else round here..a must have..potato flautas, also a completely unique itrm..gotta have em both.. everytime! Lots of places closed on mondays, but pachanga is open, and always dishes out consistent goodness! Large jamaica to drink, a must have!

Camarones Diablos

Right on the 101, I dropped into this place while working in Arcata. They had my favorite mexican dish (Camarones a la Diabla) so I thought I'd see if it would live up to the Diabla standard. If you don't like real chipotle heat with large shrimp, you should play it safe and order a taco salad. Service was quick. Chef did a great job, cilantro, chipotle, pepper char, a simple dinner and so damn spicy. So damn good...Ate every single bit of it. Only minor complaint I had was it ran me $30.

The free salsa. That's just cabbage.

Good amount of food. Flavor lacking. My burrito was a hot soggy mess. Staff was nice. Would never go back based on price and food quality.

The service was great, our waiter/server was very nice and answered all our questions, he checked in on us often and offered what we needed when we needed it Drinks : we'll be coming back to try their margaritas and such, they have such a long menu of different variations / flavors we're excited for, but only ordered soft drinks this time around, I'm pregnant currently so we'll be back down the road when drinking is something I'll be able to participate in again. Food: food was great ! My husband ordered street tacos and loved them, they had great flavor and each bite had enough of everything. I ordered the grilled chicken taco salad, the one in the crispy tortilla shell bowl- loved it ! The shell was perfect, it added such a great crunch, the salad itself was good, and we had a lot of leftovers to take home as well ! The restaurant itself is super cute with a nice ambiance ! The tables and restaurant were super decorated and they had fun music going too so the vibe was super pleasant and we were just happy to be there. Definitely recommend :)

I just throw in some beans and rice and lettuce, sour cream, and guacamole. I mean, who puts lettuce in a quesadilla? To top it off, there was no silverware or napkins in my to go order. The taste is OK.

I'm still all about the chile relleno burrito so the last time we went I ordered one with carne asada and it was literally the burrito of my dreams. This time when we went inside I noticed a hand written sign above the cash register that said "The Raliberto" which was basically my chile relleno burrito plus carne asada, so I ordered it. I cut it in half, took a picture this time and noticed it wasn't the same, it had cheddar cheese instead of that delicious white cheese the relleno comes with, and I don't think the poblano was battered and fried, it was just a plain pepper that was stuffed with cheese- it was still very tasty just not the burrito of my dreams. I'm thinking since it was a special, they may have run out of the regular rellenos or perhaps they were cutting costs but next time I'll just stick with the regular chile relleno burrito. We also picked up an order of their other special, carne asada rolled tacos, which definitely don't need the added carne asada because guacamole is all them tasty suckers need but we snarfed it all down. I don't know when we'll be driving through again but this is a really solid spot that I'll always think of fondly.

They also have Guatemalan items for sale over at the register. I decided to go for the garnachas, which is a Guatemalan street food, similar to a sope. These were like little mini sopes. . The corn masa cake base was delicious, and it was not over fried. The ground beef was seasoned very well, the veggies gave it a nice pop of freshness. The cheese was great, and I especially loved the sauce. The sauce just brought it all together. There was a little pile of jalapeño, onion, and carrot in the middle. I didn't touch the jalapeño. I tried the carrot and the onion, but they were too spicy for me. Not a big deal. It was a nice lite lunch, and with soda, tax and tip, the price was very reasonable. I definitely want to come back and try more items off of this menu. Thank you.
