Great news, I enjoyed my Horchata which is awesome! However, I was not satisfied with my burrito. The carne asada was similar to the texture of ground beef with a similar flavor to chili. Sadly, I was reminded of canned chili and got severe heart burn. Additionally, I noted the price for a super burrito is $12.00. I had two lengua tacos and an Al Pastor burrito. The tacos were on point, with a delicious green sauce, onions and cilantro, and savory lengua. The burrito was also good. The Al Pastor had a nice char to it and the flavor was good, but hard to distinguish in the burrito - not a bad thing, the burrito had a lot of good things going on. We wanted to try this place because they had a traditional vertical grill with the pineapple on top yo! So next time we'll get the Al Pastor tacos and I'll update the review. But for now, I'd go back in a heartbeat! read more

I've been here three times and all three times were horrible. I gave it three shots. Whole raw onion ribbons in my burrito totally ruined the burrito during my first visit never have I had anything but diced onions in a burrito. The meat was bland. All the other ingredients were pretty bland, so the second time I came I decided to just get beans, rice and meat because I was absolutely starving and I needed something really quick while I was filling gas. This experience was just underwhelming, again, rice beans, and really bland meat, but nothing upsetting like the onions. The third experience I got three tacos, one of each meat to truly just try what they had to offer Carne Asada, Al Pastor and Carnitas all were extremely dry, unsalted and unseasoned. What's even more disappointing is they have more than one truck as Humboldt county doesn't have enough Mexican food literally more Mexican food and Humboldt county than any other type of food and the majority of them come with no flavor let's not get started on Esmeralda's. read more

I love the food here!! I can't ever go wrong with their menu. My typical order is a Super Burrito with either chicken or asada. I have yet to try their other menu options and meats! The service is quick and it's so easy to order! They always make sure I get exactly what I want and they'll even make recommendations/suggestions. What more could you ask for? The energy is there and the vibes are just right. I love their truck's design! It stands out from the hoard of other food trucks at events like Arts Alive.
