Pulled up to this amazing truck in a shady parking lot. But the lot wasn't the issue. The issue was that it was the most amazing food truck I've ever been to. It a seasoning beyond this world I would highly recommend. The people here were like angels from heaven. And that's not all when you try the food you feel like your on shrooms. read more

This is an update... they're still really good and super reasonable. Taco Bell is nothing to Speedy Taco. Bring cash though, but it's worth it! read more

Speedy Taco Truck - Menu 5/30/2026 - Mexican Near Me - Eureka, California

Highly disappointed. I've been going to this speedy taco for many years. I've always had good food, but today, our burritos had a bunch of red sauce in them. And the shredded chicken was just chunks of chicken, and the sauce. Tasted nothing like it has before. Their advertisers open at ten thirty. And I got there at five minutes to eleven and weren't open yet. read more

I came here once 6 years ago and for some reason came back. This taco truck is the best deal in California and best taco/burrito you can find. I'd walk to Speedys because it's that good!! It's truly speedy and a great deal. 6/5 stars! read more

I ate here regularly in 1997, when they parked across the street from Broadway Medical (my crappy job at the time). The burritos were huge and amazing, and they had the best salsa roja I've had to this day. Judging by the reviews, the next generation has carried on a tradition of excellence. I miss a lot of things about Humboldt County, but nothing more than this taco truck. How DARE Yelp accuse me of being from Frisco! I despise Frisco! I live in Manila, Philippines and wouldn't go within 50 miles of Frisco, even if I made the mistake of going back to California. (Yes, I know they hate it when people call it "Frisco." Why do you think I call it that?) read more

We were visiting and decided to stop and try this out. Food was delicious! I ordered the chicken flautas, they are HUGE! The chicken was super flavorful, perfectly crispy tacos with lettuce, crema, mozzarella cheese and I got the salsa and guacamole on the side. Hubby got tacos de carne asada, cabeza, carnitas and pastor, they were all so good, lots of meat and the green salsa was flavorful. read more

We have been ordering Speedy Tacos Veggie Burrito Bowl lately; it has become my wife's go to Fridays Order. I've switch back to the Super Wet Chicken Burrito. Often I order their beans, Chips, and Salsa. Everything is GREAT. We look forward to Fridays. We don't cook and enjoy Speedy Tacos food. read more

Great food, best Burritos great salsa,Burritos are huge and there prices a reasonable.

I've been eating here since they opened and the food is always really good. I moved away for 5 years and not a day went by that I didn't miss this place. Everyone in Eureka has their own go-to order, mine is the chile verde burrito and/or chile relleno burrito (regular not super) but if I'm eating with someone else I usually just get the same thing they ordered, or sometimes if the person in line ahead of me orders something that sounds interesting I'll just copy their order. I've never been disappointed, not once, and I've probably eaten here a few thousand times. read more

Not offensive, but not the best either: honestly mid. It wasn't too bad in price, what's expected, but definitely could be higher quality for the price. The salsas taste metallic too. read more

The food is almost always amazing, and the only reason I said almost is because ONE time the meat was a little on the drier side! The street tacos with carnitas is our usual alongside bean and cheese burritos and they're addictive!! I love being remembered even if we haven't been there for a long time, they really are super nice! read more

Haven't been here in years, we tried to go a few days ago, but when we parked and got up to order.... There was a sign saying cash only. Which we didn't have on hand so we left to the other nearest taco truck. Don't know if this is the regular but I wouldn't attempt to go unless I have cash only me now. read more

My favorite. I've come here ever since I was a kid with my dad, prices are great and food is great. I highly recommend their super burrito for only like $8, their chicken quesadilla, and their street tacos. If you're not sure if you'll like something I'm sure if you get it you'll love it. Service is also super nice, you don't have to wait a long time either. read more

Expectations were low, result was amazing. We ordered three chicken tacos, the speedy asada burrito and a horchata. The tacos were the best, perfect combination of spice and veggies, loved the radishes. The burrito felt a fantastic deal in taste and portion size for under $10 in California. The tortillas were tasty and the veggies fresh. Horchata was perfect. I just think you can't find a better food truck in the usa. read more

Not good! A 'Speedy special' taco. $3.85. It came with 2 small tortillas and 2 tablespoons of gravy/sauce (?) less than 1 tablespoon of minced chicken and some rice (?) in the sauce. This was topped with 1/2 a cup of Lettuce, literally. Sorry if this is their special taco, it needs a lot of work! I ordered a chili relleno for my husband with a side of beans and rice, they handed me a burrito with a single slice of green chili in it and over a half cup of lettuce. There was a small wad of cheese in the bottom of the burrito. Never again! read more

This is the spot to go when you either have cash in your pocket or are on the go and don't mind sitting outside enjoying the weather. I enjoy their food especially being from a Mexican household. Their burritos are pretty authentic especially when they allowed me to custom order my two favorites which are chile relleno and lengua! I completely lost my mind :-9 it was the right amount of cheesy and poblano Chile along with tenderness of the meat which complimented the food just right ! I have to admit I have yet to try more of their options off the menu read more

FIRE MY GUY! Great flavor, good Portions, affordable and fast! Born and raised in SoCal the flavor is pretty spot on if it's your first time I recommend the California Burrito with Carne Asada. the only complaint I have about this place is the tortillas are trash. I think they crappy pre cooked store bought mission. If your reading this switch up the tortillas!!! Then hit me up. read more

Good, quick stop. Very nice guy working there. Amazing prices! The carne asada tacos with cilantro were so good. The bean and cheese burritos were as you would expect. I only wish they had whole beans, rather than refried. It was hard to find. We drove around for a while looking for it. It is across the street from Oreilly Auto Parts in a sporting goods store lot. read more

Definitely the best taco truck hands down , and the cheapest by far. And always super friendly

There are not enough positive words that I can use to truly express the wonderful experience I had with Speedy Taco. Speedy Taco catered my son's 13th birthday party. DelFino was a pleasure to work with. The guys from Speedy Taco arrived early, were courteous, and best of all the food was absolutely fantastic-Highly recommended! read more

**cash only** While having a casual meeting with our customer he was having some tacos bought from Speedy. Immediately after the meeting I fired up Yelp and found the place which is not far from where we were. It is located inside a sports store's parking lot. Very nice guys working inside the truck. Great selections of tacos and other Mexican Foods. I ordered one steak and one fish taco, the best tacos ever tasted! So good! Since we also have a early dinner meeting later I only ate two, otherwise I would order at least another 2. This will be the place for me to eat next time I am in town read more

Had to update my review to 1 star. Always have received great food here since I can remember. But when I brought my little sister here to get food which she's always loved too, but wanted to try them again before deciding on who to have cater her wedding. She asked them about it. They said not really. But gave their number to her anyway. We got home, ate, all HATED the food. In my opinion it was done purposely to make sure we didn't want them to cater lol Everything was just HORRIBLE. read more

Delicious food - I usually get the asada tacos because they are filling and a great price and tasty pretty spicy. When I get a burrito I choose the salsa Verde or steak ranchero. The truck and surrounding area is well maintained clean and safe. The service is really friendly. read more

Delicious food, welcoming cashier, and indeed a speedy taco truck service. I stopped by tonight for the first time around 6pm and found the parking lot quite busy. by the time I ordered it got even busier, so that was an initial good sign. Over all I ordered tacos de asada, chorizo, and lengua, which were all yummy. I was kind of bumbed our that they didn't have a spicier salsa, but's more of my preference. I will definitely be coming back (: read more

Just fantastic food. I am still looking for a dish that is worse than an A-minus. My favorites are the chicken street tacos, the asada street tacos, and the chile relleno super nachos. Great customer service and good prices, especially since eating out on the North Coast can be pricey. read more

Stopped by this place next to Sports & Cycle and I was very pleased. The express veggie burrito was VERY yummy. Been here a couple times and it's pretty bad. The lettuce always has huge white chunks ( core ) and the quality of the meat is bad. Tried a speedy taco today and it was a soggy gross mess , see picture for reference. Also it was served with a lemon wedge , wtf. read more
